As the chefs continue to compete as their individual selves, they are challenged to create one perfect appetizer dish and pair it with a beautiful craft cocktail. The chefs learn that a new element has been added to the competition, "the time token," giving the chef with the winning dish the chance to add an extra 10 seconds to the start of their platform grab or they can use it to take 10 seconds away from a competitor of their choosing. One chef's dreams will come to an end in the all-new "Happy Hour" episode of Next Level Chef airing Thursday, April 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Yes, Vinny had too many chances so not sorry to see him go and yes, I was hoping Mehreen got to stick around especially since I thought there would only be two going to the cookoff.  Now if we could get rid of Tini and Michelle...

I liked Vinny but he clearly wasn't going to last much longer so I wasn't surprised to see him go.  I took an instant dislike to Tini during the first episode and my opinion hasn't improved.  She's not attractive and her voice is unpleasant so I have a hard time believing that she has so many followers on social media that she rated the producers' attention.  I am, apparently, wrong.

I don’t care for Tini either.  The head tilting is still very annoying.  She also seems to think she deserves it more than others and even said that Vinny can just go back to his job.

I'm really happy for Shay to get into the top kitchen.  I thought he might have a chance at the time button, since the judges seem to love when the contestants make things personal, especially when it comes to aged relatives.

Not sorry to see Vinny go, he seemed to be the worst of the remaining contestants by far.  His appetizer was awful, it was a deep fried egg.

I thought I was mean for saying she resembles Gollum.  The severely pulled back hair.  The very gaunt face/neck.  The ears.  So I'm glad to see that others don't think she is attractive and I fully agree about the voice, it is harsh to listen to.  I have no idea how or why she has so many followers.

Her tuna tataki was terrible.  I fail to understand why it needed to be on a homemade tortilla.  That's one of those things where chefs think "oh they will be impressed with a homemade tortilla".  So what justice that it was raw.  Har har!

Also, another reason to dislike her... she wanted the time button solely so she could take away 10 seconds from someone.  Me, I would use it to gain more time for myself.

I realized this week that Tini reminds me of Lady Elaine Fairchild, one of the marionettes from Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. She would be less weird-looking of she would stop tilting her head and jutting out her very prominent jaw, but I think the exterior is reflecting the interior in her case. She came on the show to be a Reality Star and I think she is intending to play the villain. Mission accomplished, if so.

Was kind of hoping Vinny could salvage something from a deep fried egg and potatoes - some kind of brunch or breakfast app surely could have been created if he wasn't so busy thunking himself on the head. The idea of a deep fried egg was not entirely unappealing to me and if he'd been able to figure out a more brunch-like drink with whiskey, he might have been OK.

I'm ready for Tini to leave. The whole "I'm so totes adorbs because I don't know nothin' about cooking Spain or anything fancy and, oops, look, I somehow magically made a good dish so ha ha all you haters!" was played out after she opened her mouth the first time. Plus, anyone who decides what anyone else "needs" or doesn't need can take a few seats.

I am ready for Tini to be gone, she is not half as good as she thinks she is. She is the definition of the arrogance of youth.

And I really want one of the chefs to tell Michelle to put her hair up when she is in the kitchen cooking. Not only is she risking contaminating her food with her hair, it is also a major safety hazard. It could catch fire, get caught on something, or any number of other things. Why do they let her get away with it?

Loved Vinny but it was time for him to go. I think the stress of the competition was too much for him and he cracked.

Not sure why, but the Vinny situation seemed fishy to me. I've made lots of scotch eggs, and I don't see how he could have possibly forgotten the pork.  its a 2 ingredient dish not counting the breading.

I truly don't think she thinks of herself as the villain of the show.  I really do think she thinks of herself as the heroine.  The beautiful and adorable blonde princess who is beloved by viewers and her how ever many followers on instagram.  I think she looks more and more like Gollum every week... if she were to win an immunity pin or advantage I could easily see her grabbing it and saying my precious..."
