Ok, now that we've had the season finale I hope someone can explain why fire is making wolves becomes human and vice versa.

Before the fire were SMG and her family actual wolves? And if so why did fire turn them into werewolves?

If they were really werewolves living in wolf form all the time, why? I need more back story for the time pre-fire.

I think the fire put him into fight or flight “wolf mode” 

There better be a season 2.. this is the first show I have watched every episode and god help me in spite of some odd character choices and a never ending rave I’m invested lol

This show continues to be far better then it has any right to be.    I kinda guessed that SMG was going to be the werewolf mommy but it was still a nice reveal.

Yes, agreed.  I think everyone knew from the beginning, but I liked seeing her visit her kids and the reveal of her “marking” those she wanted to keep safe.   

From what I hear, it should be renewed, and I hope that’s true because SMG needs a multi season show.

I'm also hoping for a season 2 cause I'm still so fucking confused! Glad to confirm that SMG character is mommy-wolf, but how/why did she become a fire marshall. And if she was looking for her kids/litter, why was she based somewhere else. Who is dude on the phone? And how does he have all their personal phone numbers. And how does he always know exactly what is going on and where they all are? And the parties.....I still have lots of questions about all these damn parties!

And all of this mythology needs to be explained too! Including, we each have a different power. Enhanced strength, hearing, smell....okay, makes sense for werewolves. The power to heal? That's a new one. And only one can turn humans? But werewolf pairs can have werewolf babies.  I need more. I need backstory. I need a prequel/flashback. Season 2 better come with ALL the answers!

So in this world not all wolfs can turn people? And if that wolf dies the people they turned revert back to human? That’s a interesting concept

Yeah! That's why she (SMG) was desperate to find Everett (?) or whatever the brother wolf's name is.

The rules are overly and maybe a little needlessly confusing but with all the  vampire and zombie shows out there and my deep and abiding love for the American version of Being Human I am willing to overlook the confusion for now.   My guess is that Baron turned feral and permanently wolf which is why SMG’s was desperate to not only find him but her other kids only to find Harlan and Luna were actually not just safe but being well cared for and protected.  That was the whole thing between the SMG and the only other adult in the room.  (Sorry I am bad with names).

Speaking of adults….am I the only person who hates like every other human on the show.    (Ok looked this up)   Everette’s parents are awful and Blake’s dad is just ineffectual.    

If cellphone voice kills them I won’t be mad.

 

Oh and when SMG was confronting the dude with the axe I got serious BTVS vibes.

The cop arresting the one kid for murder? How what evidence did they have they saw the kid wi the NO blood on him lol I was like how are they making this stick?

Also, the cops’ body was with all the other bodies…do they plan to accuse him of all the murders.   It makes no sense…questioning him, sure, but outright arresting him? On what grounds?

I enjoyed this show. It was weirdly entertaining while utterly confusing.  I feel like it wanted two more episodes to breath through its mythology. 

And the dude on the cellphone, even Wolf-Mommy The Douchebag Slayer had no idea what his deal was? How many adult people with secret, maybe-shady-maybe-helpful agendas are surrounding this group of Wolf Teens (#NotTeenWolf)?

The cop's patrol car was found a few metres from Garret's house and SMG and the Asian cop figured that he had gone to "interrogate" Harlan.

This was so good! SMG brought it, and her offer to Garrett was really tempting. I wonder if Baron is the twins half brother, she said “I’m Harlan and Luna’s mother, Baron is their brother.” 
 

I feel horribly for Blake and Danny. Damn. 

Again this was really good! It got off to a slow start but I loved the style.

Edited to add- I think Garrett is a really great Dad. He’s not perfect, (no parent is) but I love how loyal and devoted he is to his kids, but he’s not a push over. Harlan’s been a little piss ant, but he knows his Dad loves him. While I don’t blame Garrett one wit for the silver bullets, I understand why Harlan and Luna were hurt by it. 
 

I knew he was a kind man to rescue baby wolves and try to take them to a sanctuary, and when they turned human he KEPT THEM. I originally assumed he found them as actual human babies and saw them change into wolves, not the other way around. 
 

Also- I like that we got more details on the cellphone story with Blake and Danny’s parents. So the father was driving and there was reckless endangerment and that’s why the kids were in foster care for a week. Their mom won’t take them since the Dad is homeless?? I’m not surprised as it seems she’s with the boyfriend. (What I know of the world she would take Blake but not Danny, and Blake doesn’t want to leave her brother). But DAMN I feel for Blake so much, I had a much more financially stable upbringing that she had, I couldn’t imagine having to be a caregiver for my sister along with all of the emotional/situational upheaval she is going through. Her Dad is trying and does care (he didn’t abandon them like it looks as if the mom did) but he needs to make changes. I want a second season so badly!

Just finished watching the series. I hope it gets a season two. I also hope Garrett takes up SMG on that offer!
