Ebola and nerve gas. They take big swings on this show.

Tim has already been promoted to Sergeant II sporting his new rockers on his stripes with no comment.  With the visiting detective worried about being undercover and relationships I was thinking am I the only one who remembers Tim's ex wife, or was it he's stoic face that is the tell that we will be back to that storyline.

And at the end with WMD terrorist, where the Fed's take over on shows they didn't, using the crossover cameo last week and looking at the promos a crossover event next week. But with our hero prematurely promoted with a golden ticket Nolan running the operation as the watch commander Sergeant Grey was just another guy with a pistol at the scene.

At first I thought they were trolling the Baily haters with the spat  but since all of the cops, except Sergeant Grey, had their Valentine's stress moments

Does Chen not know what the word ‘undercover’ means?  Just because he’s your boyfriend and is conveniently there does NOT mean you get to take Bradford as back-up to you extracting an undercover informant.

I also thought it was *wild* that characters kept referencing seeing the Ebola Story on the news (again, who let that story leak?  And why?) and yet there was zero indication of the public panic that would likely cause.

Particularly with the guy they dragged off the bus and all the people on the bus.  OK, there was the one dude that freaked out and tried to run and got tased, but still.  I mean, after the folks on the bus saw him tased, you'd think that would get them a little agitated.

I do like that they addressed Chen's rather high-handed organizing of Tim's career.  I like that Tim was kind of ticked about it, and also that Chen pointed out that it worked and everybody got what they wanted.  Which is true.  But it also seems to me that in all aspects of that relationship, Tim is letting Chen take the lead.  He seems kind of passive.  Maybe that's what he likes, someone else to take charge so he can just go along for the ride.

I'm watching the Nanny Cam right now, but I'm the mom's mom, not the mother-in-law.
Lambykins is so adorbs.
But I immediately turn the app off if my son-in-law is putting the baby to bed or waking him up because my son-in-law is paranoid about anyone looking at him.
My daughter has invited me to tune in at this time to hear her recite Dinosnores and sing various made-up songs that only I (her mother) and her baby can love.
I was relieved when Nyla suggested they invite her mother-in-law over for brunch—–although that sounds a bit formal.

This is a much better episode than last week’s The Con. It’s much more interesting when they work together as an ensemble.

Some silly, eye rolling moments - a TO leading an operation, Nolan/Bailey FIRST fight, a combo of Sarin/Ebola day, Elijah’s threat in a heart-shaped box.

Some funny lines… 😂

"Since when is a pro-grandma stance controversial? Okay."

"And Lopez... get that woman out of your house."

"Did she seem more angry about the Ebola or the wife?"

Tim was hiding in the truck.  I figured that Chen thought, if she needed him, their cover was going to be blown anyway.

Thank you Elijah for that lovely valentine's gift..NOT. I almost slept with the lights open. I hope those monsters were cgi...
I have given up from trying to find any kind of realism in this show, so the whole "Nolan saves the day" or he is a part of any major crisis in this enormous city does not surprise me anymore.
So, that British-Bailey bodyguard-lady must be an Elijah spy, right?
I so much do not care about Celina's sister cold case... I won't be surprised if it was Elijah as well. Why not?

The only good thing in this episode was Felicia Day, even if in a microdose. It is so interesting how much Fillion takes care of his friends and keeps inviting them in his shows. Loyalty!

Felicia Day was playing her character so non-ditzy that I kept wondering if it was just a doppelgänger, LOL!

Bailey is such a baby sometimes.   She obviously was unable to solve her problem in the time it took them to drive to work, so John helped her.  Big deal.  There was no need for her to get her panties in a bunch over it.

Just started this episode but...Noah is Henry from Blood Ties!  I loved that show so much!  Poor Blood Ties.  If it had come out a few years later, when vampires were all the rage, then it would have been hit and had more than one season.

I finally watched the episode and saw nary a glimpse of Elijah, he was just the impetus for the private security person.

It was a pretty decent episode, but I really hated the "Sorry, not sorry" of Chen's non-apology and thought Tim got over it too quickly. (I hate Sorry, not sorry in general - it's just a way for people to be rude, imo). But I guess it was an "all's well that ends well" situation.

I liked the rookie's story - and no spiritual mumbo jumbo from her.

I didn't like, however, that they didn't exactly take down the militia - they only got one guy. But of course, the important thing was stopping the truck. I'm guessing this was a crossover show? I never watch the second half of crossover shows. It just annoys me because it's a ratings grab. (an easy choice, because I don't think I've ever watched the other series in the crossover since they began doing this.

No crossover this time, as far as I recall. 🙃
Rookie-Feds was Valentine themed (got bumped a week for SOTU).

I prefer the rookie's "spiritual mumbo jumbo" to the Dead Sister File, especially when she uses her mumbo jumbo to psych out a perp like she did in a previous episode.

I hate Bailey as much as... well, everyone.  But what John did was so disrespectful and rude.  You don't yank the phone out of someone's hand just because you think you can do better.  The fact that the other person immediately acquiesced as soon as they heard a male voice made it even worse.  Was Bailey being shrill, yes.  But, it was still her problem to solve.

I’m sorry but I’m so over being told that Lucy is the most amazing and talented undercover detective ever. It’s so annoying especially as any time we’ve seen her go over it’s just so mediocre.

Yeah, I have to say she's been underwhelming in undercover work.
