SK being the one to say no was the biggest surprise of all these weddings, at least for me. But then again I was suspending disbelief -- like, Golden Gate Bridge-levels of suspension -- about their relationship in general.

Curious to know how Raven's career and dating life are going now. Will watch the reunion tonight.

Rodeo isn't necessarily Raven's culture, so I didn't see any issue with his refusing to chase a cow around. I didn't see him refusing anything she asked of him.

Yep - he said he was going to have to “live like a student.” Berkeley is a high COL area so he’s going to be pretty broke for that time. If he lands a high-paying summer internship, that’ll help with the second year. My best friend is a lawyer and her BigLaw summer associate job between 1L & 2L helped fund the rest of law school, though she still came out with a ton of debt.

I think Raven's first pick was always SK, but I can't remember Raven saying one way or the other either on screen or in interviews.

so much this!! Not to mention, the reason why Bartise's family was "against" Nancy was because he brought up their abortion conversation in order to sabotage her without appearing to have done so.  He is the absolute worst, takes no accountability, and is dumb as rocks IMO.

And he was the one that brought it up while Nancy was still prepping snacks/drinks.  Like how do you open with that, and not sign her praises about being a speech pathologist who is also looking to her future by fixing up rental properties.  He was such a tool.

My recollection was that was a preemptive rejection on his part.  She had shown that she was tuning him out and he didn't want to give her the chance to say no.

It's interesting (although possibly producer shenanigans) that while Bartise kept going on and on about Raven afterwards, she doesn't seem to have given him a second thought.

I mean, Bartise went out of his way to have the producers throw money around her pod to imply she was a stripper/golddigger AND rejected her. I don't see how anyone, let alone someone with as a high a sense of self-esteem/self-centeredness as Raven seems to have, would let him come back from that insult.

I think that Raven showed no signs of actually sincerely looking for/being in love, and that she would have accepted the first proposal she got from pretty much anyone to continue being on the show.
