Now Charley is worried about how Davis is handling his new life. Please put that romance out of it's misery. 

I can also see where Nova and her next door neighbor pot smokin buddy are going to get in to a relationship. 

It's a shame when a series starts off so promising only to take a deep dive so soon.

His friend Theo saying it didn’t matter how RA provided for his family was so dumb. It is completely nonsensical for RA to do something that could get him locked back up when he has an entire family, including some wealthy members who have OFFERED TO HELP HIM, to turn to. Billie telling Nova that no other friend could measure up was sickening. This show just keeps demanding that we see her as some flawless heroine even when half the episode is about how her stupid book is still screwing up people lives.

I like Vi telling Charley to stop fixating about social media. I mean she's the one who put her business in the street. Did she think no one would comment?

This episode felt like nothing happened.

How much did RA make from just that one job that they could go from all those problems Darla mentioned (the failed crop, the payday loans) to a stay at a pretty fancy-sounding AirBnB, even for a few days?  I was almost hollering "Nooooo" at the the TV.

I really felt for Billie when her food and coffee maker were met with rejection.  Mr. Prosper, you do NOT want to be like my mother.  On the other hand, she wouldn't have apologized so soon afterward.

Exactly. RA is always trying to prove how much of a man he is. Going on a “baby moon” is not necessary and is not a good use of the ill-gotten funds. Pay some of your loans and bills man!

This is the kind of thing that always sets me off in TV shows even though I know it's just a plot contrivance. Don't show us episode after episode of financial hardship then when there's a windfall - legal or not - you blow that money on on wants instead of needs. Take that cash and payback those payday loans. Damn, where's Stringer Bell when you need him?

Ouch, Billie has never had a friend as good as Nova? That poor woman, she really needs to find some better friends if self obsessed horrible Nova is the best friend she ever had. I hated Vi thanking Nova for using her "investigative skills" to clear up the bone mess, this wouldn't even have been an issue if it wasn't for Nova and her stupid book. It was so galling how many times RA and Charlie were freaking out about the farm possibly being taken from them (again) while Nova just engages in even more self righteousness instead of apologizing for how she created this whole problem by accursing their father of murder in her best seller. 

I am much more interested in Micah possibly having a thing with his friend instead of him mooning over his creepy teacher. 

Not much really happened this episode, we know that Ernest didn't kill anyone so there was no real tension over that, and I didn't think that RA would get busted this quickly into his bad decision making. His friend saying how families don't care how men provide as long as they do is a ridiculously stupid thing to say, I think that most families would care if they found out their dad was "providing" by murdering people and selling their corpses to science or something. What RA is doing is clearly not all that bad, but his stupid pride is going to get him and his whole family into huge trouble. Darla is going to be especially pissed when she finds out that RA would rather do sketchy off the books work instead of just letting her family help.

RA has the worst judgment and decision making non-skills.  And it's made even worse becasue he won't admit it, even to himself.  He just keeps making one bad decision after another.

Prison Bae (courtesy of the Bourbon & Bordelons podcast) was trying awfully hard to recruit RA, even going so far as to pay him up front. Something doesn't seem right there to me. Might Theo be a CI or for some other reason be trying to set RA up?

Yeah, I'm with Gabriel, I've never understood "put your foot in it" in reference to cooking food either. Meanwhile, how does one mess up croissants so badly that they look like cupcakes?

Those bones found in RA's field were probably those of a former slave but watch it turn out to be a Landry.

I did not see it coming but I think it works that Micah may be bisexual. That'll lead to his next big cause.

Heh, Nova's going to be rubbing off on her fine young guy friend for sure. Just in time for Calvin to return I bet, looking for forgiveness. But I'm getting an iffy feeling about Dominic too.

I was under the impression that RA already paid off the past due bills prior to taking Darla on a mini vacay.  

Loved Billie putting Vi in her place.  Her sanctimonious self can get tiring.  She is NOT everybodys mother.  

I dont think their gonna make Micah and his friend an item.  Im guessing Micah may defend him if an anti-gay slur was thrown out.

I totally agree with your thoughts. The idea that RA would engage in risky behavior instead of seeking help from his wealthier family members, who are willing to assist, appears illogical to you. Additionally, the decision to take out payday loans before exploring other options, like asking family for assistance, is something I concerning.
