Gram, glad your doing better.

Thanks Pickle. Some days are better than the other. At this point the knee is more sore than the finger.  Geesh, I have fallen several times in the last year, to have a broken finger this time just makes me (hmmm want to say chaps my a**) to say the least! I'm getting better on changing the bandage each day, but I sort of wish there was a cast and I didn't have to do anything daily.

What is so strange to me is that I have a hard time bandaging my left finger. It is awkward but in all this I never realized how much I did with my left hand. I'm a righty, but my older brother taught me so many things and he was a lefty...I never made the connection...geesh grow up in a dysfunctional family, absent parents,  $hit hits the fan in so many ways!

I was going to ask if it was your right or left.  It's hard when both hands are not free to help.

Sometimes in life we get a new normal.  Perhaps try for a lower possibly intermediate goal?

It isn't the step # as much as being pain free. My finger is feeling better, but my knee still hurts a lot. Dealing with constant pain is exhausting. I don't want constant pain ro be my n "new normal".

I understand.  You may have to do more than pain patches.  I was diagnosed with an incurable disease in my 20s.  I've had to live with constant pain since then.  Life has been a frequent adjustment.

I’m so overdue for glasses it’s ridiculous. Although I’m happy to have weekends off now, it limits making appointments. 😔

Same here.  I've been wearing the same pair since 2017.  I bought a pair last year.  But the don't feel comfortable on my face.  I need to go and get some more.

I walked my 2+ miles yesterday, and worked up a good sweat.  I slept poorly last night, so it was indoor bicycle today.

I feel like a slug if I even skip a day.  Regular exercise has been a good habit for me, although I didn't start until about 9 years ago, when I was going to WW.  I've kept most of the pounds off, which we all know can be challenging.  My eating habits are much better than my younger self had.  I eat mostly plant based and lean protein, no gluten or dairy as I've become sensitive to both.

Janelle would be amazed at how much better she'd feel without faddish Plexus crap diets that don't deliver lasting results.

4,371 steps yesterday. I was really sick all day. Throwing up to the point I got 2 bad bloody noses. Couldn't keep anything down. Am really wiped out today. Hope today is better.

Sipping some ginger ale, then moving on to ginger tea. Going to take it real easy with solid food today.

I was going to go out and run some errands today but after yesterday I am wiped out and am going to just stay in and rest.

Noisy fireworks, gunshots(!), and the dog next door barking, kept me awake even with earplugs.  I fill like crap today, so the yard work will wait until tomorrow.

Even as a kid, I hated fireworks that just made noise.  I liked the sparkly, pretty ones.  They have been banned in my city for years, but idiots still do them.  I hope nothing caught fire.
