So where do we post about the finale? I would make the thread, but I'm not sure non-moderators are allowed to do that...?

Too bad we don't have a thread to rank the winners, or talk about our favorites over the years anyway.

It's been an hour and a half. Back in the day the finale thread would be at least seven or eight pages by now :/

I have to say that list is revealing as to the show's desired outcome.

Spoiler

More women than men

Also, the fact that none of those guys fall into what I would consider 'teen idol/ TV boyfriend' category*, which theoretically may give the girls a better chance.

*

Spoiler

except maybe Dawson

It doesn't work that way.  Because if you look at Idol's Facebook, IAM and Colin are very strong.  In addition, Oliver and Tyson have gotten great edits.

Wei is the most popular girl.  But here's the problem she faces.  She was very high profile from The Voice - finished Top 3.  In the end, Idol will want to push a name that they found.

Supposedly, these are the six getting the boot in the coming week:

  Hide contents

Elise, Elijah, Emma, Dawson, Malik, Pjae

Other than Pjae, I don't even recognize any of those names, that's how unforgettable these people are now.

American Idol 2024 Spoilers: Season 22 Top 20 Contestants Leaked!
04/12/2024 mj santilli
https://www.mjsbigblog.com/american-idol-2024-spoilers-season-22-top-20-contestants-leaked.htm

Watch the three hour American Idol season 22 Top 20 episode on Sunday April 14 at 8 pm ET/PT. Season 18 Top 24 contestant Lauren Spencer-Smith will make a triumphant return! Additionally, Paul Russell and the soulful singer singing show competitors LOVE to cover, Teddy Swims, will also perform.
*  *  *
The Top 20 will perform for YOUR Votes. On Monday April 15, American Idol will reveal the Top 14 LIVE as judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan will choose FOUR wildcards while America picks the Top 10.
*  *  *
... The POLLS correctly predicted all four contestants who are rumored to be leaving the competition. The results are not surprising. Elleigh Marie struggled while performing early in the show. Ditto Hailey Mia, who is better than that Top 24 performance. She’s only 16, maybe she should have waited a year or two. Blake Proehl is a cute guy, but couldn’t stay on pitch. KBlocks also had pitch problems, and was probably too wacky to get far in the competition.

ELIMINATED

  1. Blake Proehl (Night 1)
  2. Haley Mia (Night 1)
  3. Elleigh Marie (Night 2)
  4. KBlocks (Night 2)
