ohjoy October 31, 2019 Share October 31, 2019 The U.S. Special Activities team lands in Venezuela where Jack's intel leads them to a militia guarded compound. Deep in the jungle, Jack's search for answers puts the whole team in danger. President Reyes' opponent, Gloria Bonalde, proves to be a real contender in the upcoming election. Link to comment
mledawn November 1, 2019 Share November 1, 2019 As a Canadian, I was excited for Allan Hawco to be in this series, except right out of the gate he relates Black Mamba not to Kobe fucking Bryant but Uma Thurman? Come on, now. Why not just Mamba if you wanted one word call signs? Poor Bishop - Uber does suck compared to Mamba. Every time Gloria stepped out in public, I kept waiting for her to get shot. When the group was on the river right in front of the site, I wondered how tf they weren't seen or heard. I guess the river was fast moving and could be loud, but those were some bright flood lights. Watching this series I realise I'm pretty paranoid. 2 Link to comment
Irlandesa November 3, 2019 Share November 3, 2019 This episode clearly was echoing (or at least felt like it was echoing) Clear and Present Danger with all the jungle stuff and I was here for it. Matice reminds me of Clark (Willem Dafoe's character). This show looks so good too which makes it enjoyable to watch. Watching this series I realise I'm pretty paranoid. I was thinking given the job and the movie last year was he going with Aquaman? As I understand it despite the cool call signs from Top Gun at least in the naval aviation community it runs like this CIA team. You don't choose your own your team gives you one that might be seen as embarrassing. I know that Uber isn't everywhere but it does seem to close to Bishop's job and might give away some operational intelligence if overheard. I was flashing back to Apocalypse Now and the battle history of PT boats during WWII. And they didn't have the advantage of modern mufflers and auxiliary electric motors that we have today. 13 hours ago, Irlandesa said: This episode clearly was echoing (or at least felt like it was echoing) Clear and Present Danger with all the jungle stuff and I was here for it. I never went back just for a debate evidence, but this year if does read Matice for sure. Just as Matice is a stand in for Snake/Clark I think Bishop/Uber is a stand in for Ding Chavez the regular not Ranger nor Special Forces infantryman who became Clark's number 2 in the novels Link to comment
Happywatcher November 9, 2019 Share November 9, 2019 Jack and Uber aren't the finest at following directions. Just so everyone knows, military equipment cases are so expensive because they have to both equalize pressure and are waterproof 1 Link to comment

I guess the high speed low drag black ops Operators forgot to pack any. Seriously, "Elite badasses lose comms because nobody thought to waterproof them prior to jumping into the water" is one of many idiot plot moments in this season. 3 Link to comment

You shouldn't use sealed bags in flight. Most interiors go down to 11 PSI. You can use a goose neck bag close with rubber bands. Link to comment

That is sort of where I am at with this show. The plot isn't anything great or complicated, but the performances are generally good and it looks great. The opening scene with the parachute jump with the boat looked awesome. Link to comment
