  1. When did the word "sightlines" become a thing? "Oh I love the sightlines in this space"....It drives me crazy! Just say "I can see!". It drives me as crazy as the word "price point"! Oh, space is another pet peeve. It's a room! A ROOM! ETA: I think I hear sightlines more from the Property Brothers than on HH but I'm sure it's been said on one of the multiple versions of the HH franchise. What are they trying to do with HH? How many versions will there be? House Hunters: Pets
  2. ‘Kevin Can Wait’: Fate of Erinn Hayes’ Character Revealed The mystery of the wife swap is revealed. Turns out that they are just going to kill off Donna and jump ahead in time. No mention on the kids. Still not sure how it'll play out.
  3. I sincerely don't know what TJ Miller is doing with his recent interviews. He's not popular or well known enough to be such a jerk, yet here he is being a total jerk. The movie he did was terrible. I saw his stand up special and thought it was not funny, not even a little bit. I guess he thinks he's got a bunch of opportunities outside of being on the show and maybe he did before the industry heard his opinions. But men do tend to get more chances so maybe he'll be ok. I was so bummed when I heard he was leaving the show but I don't think I'll be watching him in the future.
  4. The ending...just nope. Nope!! The chickens will be crushed. I know I am. I don't know what else happened.
  5. When Billy Eicher was the best part of the show, then something went very, very wrong. His Billy on the Street thing is barely tolerable and best in tiny doses.
  6. Why did you put this suggestion in my head???? That was time not well spent!
  7. He was very handsome and had great style. But he had a clothing allowance, so he better be a great dresser! What I could do with a clothing allowance! He's maybe a little "too" charming but I feel like it's the kind of charming that's played up specifically on TV shows. I'd enjoy the flirtatious banter with him too, plus I wouldn't even pretend to be coy about it...I'd watch him walk away!
  8. If they did give insight, I missed it. No idea why this has been going on for all this time. Such a long time and none of the friends knew except the actress one? But only because Sam told her? It's absurd. Along with almost everyone did not like this at all. Watched all 8 episodes with the hopes that the next one would clear things up, address some lingering questions, settle into a decent rhythm, literally hoping for anything. It’s amazing that such a solid cast could be failed so spectacularly. I did not find one redeeming quality in any of them. They were so selfish in their own ways. I’ll excuse Marianne (the actress one, I just checked) because we saw so little of her to get a sense of her personality or character. Now that I think about it, I don’t think I have a firm grip on any of them and I spent 4.5 hours with these horrible people. I have no idea why Ethan & Sam have been having an affair for this long. WHY???? Sorry, you ARE bad people. Absolutely you are BAD PEOPLE! Why are these people friends? Besides college what bonds them? They never indicated that they get together regularly to catch up. I still have a small close set of friends from college, I understand that bonding. We work really hard to maintain the friendships because time, distance, our own families, work, new friends, other stuff happens. The situations are beyond ridiculous. One of the ones that still has me so annoyed is the one where Ethan/Sam get the ticket. Who the hell MAILS a ticket? You get the stupid thing on the spot. Additionally, no place writes the reason for the ticket on the FRONT!! I mean what the hell. That whole scenario went on for way too long and there was no payoff to it. There was no point almost anything that was happening. I’m unclear about one thing, did they go to Harvard or something? Cause that wasn’t really clear or ever bring it up. Can anyone confirm that for me? /sarcasm
  9. Hey, Victor Webster! He is always, always HOT AF to me. Yes to first seeing him in Mutant X - which was not good but he was so cute! Watched that show every week. He looks amazing with a beard. I was hoping he'd be a nice addition to the cast as the similar age love interest (since we have to have those on these shows) but not quite as staid and reserved as Charles, and also not her boss! Really what did Lauren think would happen? as soon as the friends saw her book, I knew the BF would see it as well. Who the hell would be ok with being "graded" like that. It's so offensive. I wish I had sexy, flirtatious interactions with work "rivals' like Kelsey did with that guy. They couldn't have telegraphed it harder during the episode that they are going to hook up. On a totally shallow note, I am eternally distracted by Hilary Duff's mouth when she speaks. Did she have too much lip injections, have something done to her teeth? I can't figure it and it distracts me! Glad Liza got a promotion. I couldn't be less interested in Josh and the assistant. Ok, they know about the Crown in this episode but last time they didn't know about Black Mirror which is also on Netflix? Alright.
  10. I just know that I'll be glad after the show has premiered tonight. They have been promoting the heck out of it all over the place and I really can't handle seeing another commercial!
  11. CMT will not be picking up the show after all. From the article linked below: "The talks were only preliminary, exploring the financial feasibility of producing the series for CMT, which would’ve involved virtually everyone on the show taking a pay cut. I hear in the end, the two sides could not agree on the numbers." ‘Last Man Standing’: No CMT Lifeline For Tim Allen Sitcom As Pickup Talks Fall Through I can't imagine that the entire cast would be willing to take a large pay cut and the cost was one of the reasons ABC decided to cancel it in the first place. I think it's nice that there are at least some avenues for canceled shows to try to get a second life so it's cool that they tried to work something out.
  12. I don't know if the exploding phones were a reference to Samsung's issues last year. I took it as being related to Keenan's terrible VR tech being shoehorned into the Hooli platform. I really hope it's not from the "malware" the guys snuck in there. The cycle of success and crashing failure is getting tiresome and another season of that will be difficult to swallow but also hard to believe. Either they are successful, even on a small scale or they completely crash and burn. Although, Richard doesn't seem capable of holding onto any success because he seems to sabotage his progress. I thought Jared was going to throttle Richard for his moric Poop Fare stunt. Jared has a tight handle on his rage, but I thought Poop Fare was going to unleash a torrent of fury. Even Dinesh and Guilfoyle looked worried.
  13. Right there with everyone else in disappointment in this episode. I found myself really irritated watching this because it really felt like the same cycle repeating itself yet again with no payoff. They are desperate to get away from the “bad guys” (pick your faction) and there’s some manufactured tension as they plan is executed and then something... MK’s death was dramatic and shocking. I did gasp when Ferdinand stomped on her chest. THREE times! Like WTF was that about? He was taking out his Rachel hostilities on MK yet knowing full well that wasn’t Rachel? It was disturbing and creepy. Rachel’s characterization has been all the place and that's also frustrating me, but then at the same time, I don’t even care anymore. I’m watching because some of the characters are delightful to me and because I HAVE to see what they cobble together to explain this – although I’m preparing myself to be disappointed, but hoping for the best. Sarah has been driving me crazy for the past few seasons and I’m glad Kira said enough cause that’s how I feel about the way Sarah just barrels through all these situations with little forethought or rationale. Just not trusting “them” is not enough anymore because what is she really trying to do about it? Keep running for the rest of their lives? It’s nonsensical. I couldn't have agreed with Kira more in that moment. I genuinely don’t know what’s up or going on at Clone Camp. Delphine with some secret only Mrs. S can know? Shrug. Helena and Donnie - I liked until Helena shoved the needle into the doctor's cheek. Come on. I knew she was going to do something insane as soon as that curtain closed. Donnie backing away slowly...hilarious. Allison was amusing in her short scene. Art's partner is annoying in how much she's eating the scenery which I guess is the entire point of her character but *eye roll*.
  14. There are so few episodes I would rewatch voluntarily, in fact, I can't recall any off the top of my head right now. Mostly, I see the name of the episode & roll my eyes or absolutely won't watch it at all. I would say that there are maybe 10 excellent/great episodes of Voyager out of over 200 episodes. I don't seek out Voyager, while for TNG or DS9, I'll put them on either from Amazon/Netflix just to catch a few episodes or see a particular scene that I like. Watching Voyager on BBC America is mostly cause the alternative is news and I'll take terrible ST.
  15. It was so interesting to read your perspective on Voyager. I've also been watching it occasionally on BBC America. I watched when it was first on and I was indifferent about it but got increasingly annoyed with how lazy and predictable the show was every week. Rewatching now has only made me dislike it even more! I see so much more clearly the wasted opportunity with Voyager. It really could have been one of the great series but, as you correctly said, they chickened out and played it so safe to the point of ridiculousness. They had the bones and the basis of some exciting and fresh stories while staying true to Star Trek themes. It's really disappointing. All the elements were there they just didn't follow through. The Kazon storylines for those first few seasons didn't help either, those were and still are terrible. I think I already watched the reboot of this when they called it Battlestar Galactica.
  16. I found a "family tree" diagram a while ago that linked all the players together and it was helpful, although I also thought "who the heck was that again"? I'll have to track it down and link it here. One thing that I'm trying to recall, especially as it feels like there's a whole group to keep track of, but who were/are the Proletheans? Is that the wacky religious group that took Helena or some Neolution associated group? Anyone remember who/what Dyad is? Topside? Oh my head hurts.

    All Episodes Talk

I took it the same way @camom. I technically went to a 'prep school" (it was literally in the name of the school) but no one called it that, ever! It was high school or middle school depending on your grade. Every time I heard them say that in the show it made me laugh cause it sounded so ridiculous.
  18. Art! I forgot Art! Love him too.
  19. Seriously! Each season we learn of some new group or off shoot group or rouge group who were involved in the Clone project in some way. I've genuinely lost track and I'm looking forward to the whole mystery wrapping up. The longer they've dragged it out and thrown more into the mix I've gotten less interested in the origin of the clones. I do love the actual clones, Felix, Mrs S, and their interactions with each other more so than the origin story.
  20. That's funny you feel that way, cause I like him just I haven't seen anything where he played anyone likable yet I've HEARD he's a lovely person, so I give him some benefit of the doubt. Although based on the characters I've seen him play, I should hate his guts. Lol.
  21. I just turned back to this after watching Orphan Black and I saw some kind of attempt at dancing. Ummm, not to be rude but WTF was that?! That was embarrassing and quite disturbing. I just can't understand how people can't hear the beat! I also don't like Tom Cruise, but I never have. I was a kid during Top Gun and I never thought he was good looking or interesting ever. But that's neither here nor there. Zac Efron seems pleasant but dim and his eyes seem way too close together, but I would still enjoy rubbing my hands over his abs. I'm shallow. That man stays in a gym. Don't know who the non-descript blonde lady was, she was in the movie? She seems pleasant enough but aren't we done with the interchangeable blonde ladies yet? Well I'm done with them but good for her!
  22. Richard's ok right? These guys push it way too much. I'd have slugged him when he was retrieved from that smashed vehicle.
  23. I agree with making the origin of this as some "I want to live forever" summer camp off the mark, but the show has been meandering for a couple years now so I think they needed to root the premise somewhere. I feel like they had written themselves into a corner anyway and this is not satisfying right now. So we now have a Revival Island as part of the whole mystery of what's happening. Can they just get to the damn point already! Good grief already. Honestly, Donny jogging away with the little rolling suitcase was such a classic Donny move it made me laugh. Those calls between him and Helena were great. Helena getting that stick in the belly freaked me out. As crazy as I think Helena is (and I love her to pieces), I'm worried about the baby, but I know the baby will be fine. I am still amazed at the talents of Tatiana cause I forget that each clone is played by her; she plays each one with such nuance. I'll watch anything she does till the end of time. I might need some more time to digest this episode and take in the reactions of my fellow Clone Clubbers.
  24. The Cones of Dunshire episode is one of my all time favorites! So freaking hilarious to me! Ben introducing the game to Leslie and her face has me on the floor. BEN: "Presenting… The Cones of Dunshire, a brand new gaming experience. 8-12 players, two wizards, a maverick, the arbiter, two warriors, a corporal, and a ledgerman. Now the ledgerman just keeps score. And he wears this hat." LESLIE: "Oh boy." BEN: "Now the object is to accumulate cones. Four cones wins, but in order to get a cone you have to build a civilization. Another amazing thing is the challenge play… actually, let me tell you more about the trivia cards because you're going to need to know about road blocks first. Well, never mind, the thing about the challenge play is that it's basically the game... in reverse!" BEN: "Then you roll three dice to see how many dice you roll with. (rolls) Oh, 16, perfect! Lots of choices…" BEN: "OK, each turn goes: roll, buy, action, …" BEN (holding up a cone): "I mean, obviously this would be much taller in the real game…" BEN: "But the corporal can veto…" BEN: "This should be green too. How did this happen?" BEN: "Are the cones a metaphor? Well, yes and no." LESLIE: "Um, what is this called again?" BEN: "The Cones of Dunshire. Oh my God, the maverick should be able to trade lumber for agriculture credits. How have I not thought of this before?" LESLIE: "When do you go back to work again?" BEN: "Tomorrow. It's fine, I'll just throw this in the garbage." The bolded line kills me every time. That clip from Kimmel had me in tears. You can see that they incorporated more of Adam Scott into the Ben character over time and that really enriched the show.
  25. Amen. Carrie could be so insufferable. Big coming back to her multiple times was perplexing to me. What did she bring to the table for him? My only rationale is that Carrie was easy enough to deal with and would put up with quite a bit. She wrote this simple-minded column, which I maintain he never read even once and she wasn’t that deep. When she got too demanding based on what he was willing to offer, he would bail. He knew she’d be available for him again when he was interested, no matter what her relationship status.
