  1. Agreed. I don't need a show where the host is trying to cause tension between the contestants. There's Survivor for that. Bernie and Carrington just couldn't get it together. At least the Bali scenery was gorgeous. Plus, the dogs at the end were nice.
  2. This episode had two things that I don't like in TAR. Teams handholding other teams during a challenge and arguing. I liked Courtney and Jasmine, but WTH with the second round of bad taxi luck? Are the racers not allowed to go inside a business to call for a cab? The Driver's Seat task sounds nice if you wants to make enemies in the race.
  3. Did the last two teams wrestle the Sumo judge? I didn't see it. So long, Ernest and Bridget. They seemed like a nice team. I don't think that there has been team fighting this early in a season.
  4. I'm so glad that TAR is on my TV again. I felt bad for Mark and Larry. Not last, but still eliminated. Because of this, I'm not a fan of the Fork in the Road. I felt bad for Jackie and Lauren. However, if something like stairs can give you pause, this may not be the show for you. Last season had an episode that was almost completely stairs. I would have done Dance. Singing involves likely movement and correctly pronouncing lyrics in a different language. I may be alone in this, but I like the Intersection.
  5. The "Passive Progressive" ads are just awful. Nobody's stopping you doofuses from switching insurance companies.
  6. I saw this one a few days ago. I don't catch every episode, but this is the first time I've seen someone keep all the pennies on the "To the Penny" game up until the end. Congrats to him! https://youtu.be/S1cU437esQE?si=K2kBLb_w14wL1I4P
  7. I never had Zevia soda, but I was amused at their ad mocking the crappy Coke A.I. ad.
  8. I saw a Sprite ad a while ago where it was a remake of a previous ad that I remember from childhood. Between this and the remade Snickers ad, it seems like they're running out of ideas to try to tap into a viewer's nostalgia.
  9. That lyric sounds so phoned in, I'm wondering if the BK ad creators are tired of them.
  10. Up until a few days ago, I never knew it had a sequel. I saw that crappy ad, and wondered to myself what was pulling the sleigh at the end. There's no reindeer.
  11. Correct. Everytime it came on, I thinking to myself, "Just yank the damn phone out already!" They just let it sink in the chocolate for what feels like 10 seconds.
  12. I found this DoorDash ad funny. However, I wonder why the gift wasn't in a separate bag from the store in order to keep it hidden. I saw the original and the other one. The original appears more frequently, however. Agreed. This one will always be my favorite, despite polar bears and penguins living on different sides of the world.
  13. Chi-Chis is re-opening some locations. https://apnews.com/article/chichis-mexican-restaurant-bankruptcy-56cb8587fd2b90656e7fd2e698596536 I never ate there, but I'e bought the salsa. I also used to hear about how people enjoyed the restaurants.

  15. I don't see this Hyundai ad much, but I enjoy it whenever I do. https://youtu.be/JaOFB89bmjU?si=EJm8rLsK63l3XCU3
