I think the men they are going for in these ads are more aggressive. I've seen the men advertised in other Viagra ads and they seemed like assertive personalities. So, you get these men and these women, with I guess Viagra, then you get a scene out of the remake of "Cat People".

Great! I absolutely hated Southern Fried Homicide and Elder Skelter. Stereotypes run amok.

This is probably off-topic but I've had an ax to grind with Todd ever since he wrote that book kind of depicting Obama as some sort of alien. Russert wouldn't have done that. How can you be perceived as fair and objective when you title a book about the president you're covering "The Stranger"?

The one commercial with the one with the darker hair kind of scares me. Sort of reminds me of a "Real Housewife of Long Island" type. And they can't be serious that these ads are aimed towards women. These actresses are middle-aged male fantasies. Not for me, since they're kind of above my economic bracket. Hell, Viagra might be above my economic bracket. So, I'm screwed.....or not.

I recently saw an ad for Honest Diapers with a bunch of babies dancing around to some pop song with the word booty in it. I really don't want to think of babies booties. They're going to have a lifetime of being objectified over one thing or another. Can they have at least this little period to themselves? Babies don't know from booties. It's for the "hip" mothers. It's not cute and fun. Leave "em alone.

I remember that I kind of her liked her during that season and wanted her to win. Top Model has gone completely downhill over the past few years and is now completely insane. Haven't watched it for about three or four years. This ad started airing recently and all I noticed was her sticking her top and bottom out at each pose. I'm a guy so I guess I would notice that but still. All that Top Model training gone to waste.

Don't think it was on this year. I remember it with Lisa Rinna. That might be going back a ways.

I'll go to my grave believing that Al Gore was elected after Bill Clinton, so there's two in a row. No matter what the final outcome was. Small consolation though. And it is a very boring "scandal".

I read the description of this from the cable program guide and it's couples going into a box to have sex and then talking about it afterwards. That's.....creative? I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the pitch meetings for these shows. I loved "Network" and "Idiocracy", but they didn't have to be a guide for the future. Those saucy and randy Brits. Cheeky!

This is the problem. They keep regurgitating the same stories. One case gets passed around by 4 or 5 different shows.

The thing that I don't understand about any of this Redmayne controversy is that he gave a pretty strong solid performance. That role wasn't hackwork. I've seen much worse nominees win. And Keaton's wasn't some world-beating Brandoesque effort here. I don't get this one.

I didn't know whether to put this under the puzzling or annoying topic but it seems to be both. Marie Osmond for Nutrisystem. Why is she still there? I seem to remember reading stuff about her in this thread back in December. I thought it was for a holidays ad campaign and when they were over she would be gone. Yet I still see her. I mean, Donny and Marie were over thirty years ago and she's certainly not as likeable as she was back then. I don't get it.

Yeah, I saw this and thought that the last woman they show has to be the youngest looking fifty year old I've ever seen.

I actually like Helen much better this season than in her original. I did not change my opinion of Michelle. Still don't like. It was probably her playing Russian Roulette with her grandmother! She's just a tattooed, long-nailed neurotic goofball.

The previews on this show are so crazy that Helen's crying might be when she won. They never match up. Make you think one thing is going to happen and then another thing happens. I don't know why they do that. It's pretty stupid. Misdirection idiocy.

I think she was eliminated.

I know they use "creative" editing on this show and all but there was a part where they showed Michelle complimenting Dmitri on his fabric saying it was pretty and then the very next talking head exclaiming that it was hideous. Very definition of two-faced. She's some sort of reality show creature. And her comedy blows...in my opinion.
