I watched, and he wasn’t great but what really disturbed me was when he introduced himself he said (I’m paraphrasing) that he is married to Kyle Richards but their going thru a difficult time right now - just an ahole move. You bring up your martial challenges on a show where at least half the audience doesn't know the first thing about you since you don't have a nom reality career…

I wonder if that was prompted by the producers, as he also did talk about being on RhoBH. They also showed some of the headlines of their marital problems. Also Kyle was in the audience. I was surprised by how rough she looked. Amazing what a difference filters make.

Jenn said that she was bored, and when she told Will there were issues in their relationship he answered that everything was fine. He didn't cheat on her, but she did. Seeing her in a car with Ryan was not the only time he caught her with Ryan.

Interesting that she was caught by Will with Ryan more than once. Jenn claimed that in the car Ryan was only giving her a gift. Sure, Jann. I mean Jenn. Lol.

I don't remember her saying she got bored? I remember her originally saying that her husband had basically been emotionally checked out of the marriage for a long time, they were sleeping in separate bedrooms, etc. And then Ryan started showing her some attention and she gravitated toward that -- but it seems like was a symptom of the issues she was having in her marriage and not what precipitated the divorce. Anyway, none of these women should be accusing her or judging her for walking out on her marriage. Especially since it seemed like her husband had figuratively "walked out" long before she did. Didn't he say as much in the brief scene we saw with him in it?

Now that I think about it, it might have been Tamra who framed the situation as "Jenn got bored in her marriage..."?

Some communications scholar needs to study Tamra Judge for insight into how misinformation gets transmitted.

My comment was based on what Jenn said, not Tamra. And we don't know what precipitated their separate bedrooms, etc. Will may have got tired of Jenn never being happy, having 6 kids but still needing to foster more kids and animals. So I would never assume that Will was "checked out" for no reason. Jenn seems to me to be an exhausting and needy person. I no longer have the episodes to go back, but my perception was that she was bored. Maybe it was that she said her marriage was dying, and Ryan was exciting and something forbidden. Will did catch them together in a car, so I don't know that he "walked out" before she did. I never heard that he cheated on her. In any case she does not seem any more stable or happy, but that is on her for who she picked as Will's replacement.

  4. This is an episode that could have been two hours. I assume the only reason it is one is that at some point Dateline will update, and play this epi over again as the first hour of a two hour episode.

There is more that they could have delved into, just based on some things shown but not explored like the letter that Kouri wrote to the police basically asking them to back off. I froze the screen, and from what I could read of the letter she states that Eric had an affair, and had created the trust around that time and gone to a divorce lawyer. She makes it sound like she knew about the trust (though of course I think that is a lie). She also write about Eric's first marriage, and that his ex (don't know that the show ever talked about a previous marriage) cheated on him with a co worker. And that Eric from what I gathered wanted her to be a SAHM, but that she has always been ambitious, hence started the business she did.

It is hard to believe that Kouri took out 5 insurance policies, but also that she didn't realize that she would be scrutinized. Or that taking money from her husband's business, etc would not be discovered. She made so many mistakes, right back to buying the mouldy house and not realizing (or caring) that whoever bought it would suffer from her shoddy reno. And that they would come after her.

I agree though that it doesn't make sense that Eric would have stayed with her. But then how often do we here where a spouse tells a friend that if something happens to them, to look at their partner. I guess these people don't watch true crime shows to realize that they need to take their own fears seriously and leave!

Also, she wrote and had that book published exactly a year after killing her husband. That's pretty fast. You would think she would be busy supporting her kids through their first year without their dad. Does anyone else think she was writing the book while her husband was still alive?

Thanks for the info., I just started watching the show & was barely tolerating Andrea Canning, when I took a quick break.  (Hate to knock a fellow Canadian, but...)  There's better stuff to watch, so ...

Lol, I can't imagine any host stopping me from watching a true crime show. But in the case of Andrea, if my mind wanders it is to marvel that she has 6 kids, a successful marriage and career, and in her spare time while travelling for her job writes movie scripts. Mind you they are of the Lifetime and Hallmark variety, but still pretty impressive to me. To me she is the very definition of a woman being able to "have it all", which I find inspiring.

I know some give her a hard time for some of her questions, but I have noticed that other hosts (Josh, Keith) ask similar questions and nary a word is said. In any case fellow Canadian (which is not the reason I like Andrea, just a bonus as with Keith) I would recommend watching the epi.

Actually, if Heather really wants to jump-start her career, that needs to be her sole focus. Moving to BH and getting out of reality TV would allow her to do that.

The only career in acting that Heather has is in reality TV. She tried to jumpstart her career a decade ago, and ended up with one episode of Hot in Cleveland and one of Hawaii 5-0. She is now in her mid 50s. I can't see how changing her zip code is going to allow her to restart a career that has been dead, for all intents and purposes, for many years. There are many mid 50s actresses already in LA that can't get work. If Heather was able to jump start her career, so would have already done so. Not to mention, there are and have been actresses on RHoBH who have been able to do both.

Heather is not a successful actress, and hasn't been for years, because she is not wanted. I would imagine her personality may have something to do with that. I think that industry will put up with narcissistic azzholes if they are talented, and thus bring in the money. Heather is not in that category.

BTW, the video recently posted on Heather's thread is friggin' hilarious. And Heather and Terry to a "T".

  7. Well, it does appear as if Heather finally got an acting gig, courtesy of Bravo. A two parter, where she can make her exit from RHoOC (again). I didn't feel sorry for Heather in this epi, but did feel sorry for  Noella (who I vaguely remember as a past howife?) as Heather repeated a few times that she thinks she is a loser. If Heather does reappear on RHoBH, I don't think she will fare any better. Heather is not a girl's girl, and Terry is definitely not a guy's guy. They are in their own little world.

Jen, Jen, Jen. Is she having regrets about her marriage breaking up? The story does appear to be changing. Originally she said that she was bored with her hubby and marriage. Tonight she said that she was sorry that she wasn't woman enough for her ex. Those seem like two very different things to me. In any case, though Ryan says he had a one night stand, the fact that he was texting his side piece while at a concert with Jenn, saying he wished she were in his bed, does not point to that. And Jenn knows that. So either she accepts it and moves on, or ditches Ryan and moves on. But don't be surprised when it is brought up. That is what happens on reality TV.

If nothing else I enjoyed the outfits that the howives wore on vacation, for the most part much more than the clothes their counterparts on RHoNY wore on their holiday.

  8. As I think someone upthread mentioned, this show is so boring it seems like I am watching it for twice as long as I actually am. What a snooze. I can't even watch it for the fabulous clothes, as I rarely see any.

The outfits worn by Jessel and Sai early in the epi were so fugly, fugly is too nice of a word to use.  Jessel's I couldn't even describe, it was so bad. Influencer Sai wore a cover up that looked like someone decided to get rid of their bits and pieces of yarn by blindly crocheting them together. I have never watched an episode of What Not to Wear, but when I see Sai that is more often than not the phrase that comes to mind.

I’m so torn because yes, Tamra is being very shitty to Jen.  But, I agree with Gina, that Jen just doesn’t respond.  Plus Ryan seems very much to be a creepy asshole.  Plus Jen and him were selling those dic jpic hats, so that’s kind of gross.  To sum it up, they’re all pretty gross.

Ya, what Tamra did was shitty, but we are 14 episodes in and Jenn is still sticking to the "we were on a break" line. Even though when Tamra brought up that Ryan was with Jenn at a concert and texting his side piece that he wanted her in his bed, they were obviously not on a break. And Jenn in her TH declares that it is Ryan's job to own up to his behavior, not hers? Own up to who? The viewers?

I totally agree that her behavior with Ryan with the dick pic pictures and hats is gross. And also the she moved the dick into her home with her 5 kids. So Tamra might be crossing the line, but she isn't wrong.

I loved Emily calling Heather out on referring to her as a character that is big and hairy. No one is fooled by you, Heather.

I did enjoy the activities that the gang participated in, and loved the man bod bathing suits. I always enjoy seeing what the ladies are wearing on vacay. Loved Heather's dress at dinner, and also Shannon's coverup when they went ATVing and to the swimming hole. I was wondering how I could find out where she purchased it,  then realized that I have one very similar - lol.

After the fresh hell that is the new cast of RHoNY, I really enjoyed this episode if only because most of these ladies have a history. There always has to be drama at some point, but I still enjoyed the epi. Mostly because RHoNY's offering this week put me to sleep.

  10. I forgot to add in my previous post that Ty and Kat are my favourites not only because they are always so supportive of each other, but that they ran the race without targeting other teams. And in fact helped I believe the two teams that are in the finale with them. I admire very much how they have conducted themselves every step of the way.

To Hope. The title is just a fancy way to say Lizzie is Hope's assistant. I don't have a problem with than when it's just the two of them. And it makes this a bit more formal when Lizzie is dealing with other people.

Lizzie does not have anyone she is overseeing, and anyone who deals with her would know this. Virgin River is a tiny place. Executive assistant would be a more fitting title, if Hope felt like just calling her an assistant did not sound important enough. But then it isn't Hope who came up with the title that didn't fit, its the writers.

  12. Ugh, so now Lizzie is pregnant? What is it with these writers, and their obsession with pregnant women? I assume that Muriel is past child bearing age, but with these writers I wouldn't count on it.

Also, who is Lizzie Chief of Staff to? Does Hope have a bunch of employees at  town hall that we have never seen? Or is Lizzie Chief of Staff to...well...Lizzie?

Does anyone else think that Jack will end up being the bio dad of Charmaine's twins after all? And that something will happen to Charmaine, and Mel and Jack will end up raising the twins? Of course though, none of those things will happen for at least a few more seasons, so lots of time to speculate.

  13. I am so relieved that Ty and Kat are in the finale! I am rooting for them to win. My second choice would be Tyler and Kayleen. Ben and Anwar are a distant third. They started out as one of my fav teams but I have fallen in my estimation over the last few weeks. I was taken aback (and I think Jon was as well) when they arrived in second place at the mat and declared that they had been robbed. No, you weren't. I was glad that Jon pointed out that they should be excited to be in the final three.

  14. This is more of a refresher question, and maybe the answer to my question is in the last 6 episodes as I have only watched four so far. I am trying to remember what happened to the rich guy who swept Charmaine off her feet and wanted to take care of her and her babies? That relationship went from zero to ten very quickly. But she is alone again, and I can't remember why? Also when Jack went to see her, she was still living in the big house but talking about going back to hairdressing after the babies are born. Surely Charmaine didn't end up with the big house after only being in a months long relationship with the rich guy? Can't remember if they married, but even if they did it seems a stretch that she would come out of it so well off?

All this sharing and we still don't know what Brynn does for a living

It seems like what Brynn is doing for a living is husband hunt. By her own admission, she spent the summer dating three different men a day (coffee, drinks, dinner). How could she have time for a regular job when  husband hunting appears to be a full time job?

I read an article where Brynn was complaining that Bravo is giving her the edit to look like she doesn't have a job, but she claims to have one and be very educated as well. Maybe Bravo is finding this edit more interesting, but they can't put words in her mouth, so what they are portraying is still Brynn. Like it or not, Brynn.

I did roll my eyes at Erin being annoyed that the waiter wanted to actually take dinner orders from the ladies before she was satisfied that her convo with Brynn was concluded to her satisfaction. Wouldn't it make more sense for the dinners orders to be taken and the food prepared while this convo was happening? Talk about controlling. No one can eat until Erin is happy. But then we already know that food isn't a priority for Erin. Sheesh.

No, it was her ego. I’m surprised she didn’t have a cake with “HD” in sparklers and a 10-foot spun sugar bow. She’s gotten a lot of mileage out of those initials, that’s for sure. Of course she thinks it’s named after her.

I don't suppose we would be lucky enough for one of the howives to point out, maybe on a reunion episode, that HD Network doesn't actually stand for Heather Dubrow Network, but High Definition Network? IRRC, on the episode Heather even referred to Oprah's OWN Network, as a comparison to her HD Network. But of course she knows that HD doesn't actually stand for Heather Dubrow. She is hoping others don't find that out, though.

The entire original premise of the show was to get a peek "behind the gates" at the wealthy women of Coto and their families, and how they live. This is exactly what we are getting from Heather, but most people mock her for being pretentious. I would rather see Heather spending her money any day of the week than most of these other women who only know how to get sloppy drunk and fight. YMMV of course.

You can be wealthy and not pretentious,. You can be not wealthy but pretentious. In fact pretentious means that you are attempting to impress by affecting more importance than you actually possess. Heather would be pretentious, rich or not. That is her personality.

But Kody DIDN'T leave Meri- at least not physically. He froze her out; he insulted her on camera and to everyone else ("I don't love Meri anymore. If she left I wouldn't care.") She hangs on like a sad little puppy for two reasons: she won't give him the satisfaction of making her leave (although she looks pathetic at this point, begging for scraps), and to hang on to the show for the paycheck. Most of us wouldn't subject ourselves to such humiliation. But this is the Brown family we're talking about.

Of course he left her physically. He stopped sleeping with her, and eventually took her out of the house visitation rotation too. He also stopped sleeping with Christine, but kept her in the house rotation. Maybe for the kids, who knows. The only way he could have left Meri any more "physically" would be to leave town, which he could not do since the other wives/kids still living at home were in the same town. And of course, he isn't allowed to "leave" a wife. But he did in any way that matters.

Kody only saw Meri when there were gatherings with other family members. Meri was alone for quite a long time. I totally agree that Meri has looked pathetic for awhile now, but I think she is there as much for the paycheck as anything. I think her longing for Kody is in part her storyline, as she was ready to leave him if the catfisher had been a real person.

I'm astounded Mark Cuban is an investor in Heather's whatever it is.

So from what I understand, Mark invested in a podcast app called Fireside, along with business partner Falon Fatemi who we saw in a previous episode when they met with Heather. This investment in the app was announced way back in Feb 2021, so two and a half years ago. It hardly seems to be taking...well anything...by storm.

Heather is just one person who I guess has signed on to promote herself using the app, but decided to make it sound like it is all about her by calling her offering HD Network. The funny thing is, I just read a blurb from this past April when I think it launched, where Falon Fatemi does not refer to HD as standing for Heather Dubrow, but rather High Definition. So was Heather just blowing smoke at her party and making it sound like HD is named after her? Fatemi certainly doesn't seem to know that, she does not once mention the letters HD in relation to Heather's name. Too funny.

  19. I really wish that after Jenna arrived at the house, she had informed the ladies that she was actually staying at the hotel. That would have been priceless.

Like many others, Jenna is the only reason I am watching now. She has certainly shared as much of her life as others have. And in the case of some of the others, their stories change. At Brynnsgiving, Brynn shared that she has siblings that she has nothing to do with. But this episode, we see her with her brother, who she says she sees every Christmas in LA. And have we ever seen Brynn work? When she said in one TH an episode or two ago that she would have no problem going through a man's pockets (or maybe it was wallet, can't remember) it certainly gave me an image of what she might do. She has done nothing since then to erase that image. Still waiting......

  20. Listening to Robyn drone on about how hard divorce is for Kody was amusing. She has conveniently forgot that Kody did everything but jump and click his heels when he divorced his only legal wife to marry her.  He of course is only upset because Christine left him. And the notion that Kody can't leave a wife? Of course he can, he did it to Meri. And would have been thrilled beyond bits if she had actually left the family, once he had no use for her and she embarrassed him by the cat fishing scandal.

The other reason Kody is upset it that it brings the gravy train of his dream show showcasing polygamy one step closer to derailing. Chug chug, Kody.

  21. I was so impressed that J&J did not use the pass on TyKat. Honestly I think it would have benefited the other two teams more than them, so good on them for not going that route.

I think the right four are the final teams, and while I will be OK with whoever wins, I hope it is on their own merit and not due to a pass, or to teaming up with another team. At this point they should win the race on their own merit and nothing else.

I suppose some jurisdictions do things differently, but where i live a BENCH WARRANT exactly means no one will ever come knocking at your door looking for you.  It's not an ACTIVE ARREST WARRANT.  It will show up on your record, however, if you come in contact with the law; ie if you are stopped for speeding the officier may choose to arrest you on the outstanding bench warrant

From what I just read, in California when a judge issues a bench warrant, the police can treat it just like a standard arrest warrant. They can use it to track you down, take you into custody, and bring you back into court. Once you have a bench warrant out on you, you could get arrested anytime.

I think Gina, like many divorced people, has to mourn the life she thought she was going to have.  That doesn't mean you want the former partner back because they're not what you thought they were either. It's a parallel universe thing.

Oh I totally get that. But this season was filmed a full three years after the incident happened, in June of 2019.  And way after she moved Travis and his tribe into her home. Either she is not over Matt, or she is using this as a storyline.  (She relates how she lost it when she went to a wedding in a church, because she was married in a church). Either way, it isn't fair to her kids or to her life with Travis. She made the decision to move on quickly, that is on her and no one else.
