  1. I love that Jessica sang her own song for her sing out. I love that song, love her voice, and hope she does well. She is far more talented that JENA@#$%. I also love the stare Jessica gave the judges when they gave her a standing O. I'm pretty sure the translation was FU.

Also noticed that when JLo came up to the stage, from what it looked like to comfort Jessica, she was given the cold shoulder. GO JESS

Well unless Alex makes it to the final, next week will be my final show for this year (and maybe forever). I have no interest in either Caleb or JENA@#$%, and would be bored to tears to watch them in the final.

  2. Wow, I am also wondering how JENA@#$% singing someone else's arrangement of a song and not acknowledging same is not a form of plagerism. I wonder if anyone will have the guts to acknowlege it tonight? You would think one of the three judges would have known it wasn't an original. Both Keith giving JENA@#$% credit for the arrangement, and Harry calling her courageous (BARF) for the way she sang the song are just wrong, and should not be left to stand as is. Also if JENA@#$% was not going to acknowledge that she was stealing someone else's arrangement, Randy should have in the pre package. There was lots of time for either of them to have brought up, and given credit to, the person who actually deserved the credit.

  3. I have wondered as well if the judges (well, Keith and JLo) have been called out on their blatant favoritism. Not by the producers of course since they are driving it. I thought for sure when the Keith and JLo were chair bouncing to Jessica's second song she was finally going to get a decent review. But no, The Stepford Judges reverted back to script. Must. Slap. Slapout.

I predict that there is going to be another SHOCKING elimination tonight. BOTH Jessica and Alex will be booted in a double elimination, to ensure a Caleb/JENA#@$% final. And semi final. Just kidding, but not totally.

  4. Jessica was by far my favourite performer of the night. I especially loved her second and third songs. I also thought she looked stunning (makeup and hair colours) in her taped interviews before her performances. I wish she had looked like that tonight as a change from her always black and pink hair.

I was totally bored with Caleb's first performance, and only enjoyed the very end of Travelin' Band when he put a bluesy twist on it. His last song was the best, but overall I could never watch him in concert as he is just too unoriginal.

I was disappointed in Alex's songs. I liked the first one, thought the second was too close to the original and didn't know the third song at all. Normally that doesn't detract from my enjoyment when it is Alex singing, but this time I was bored.

And JENA!@&%$  First song was just a Pat Bentar karaoke version for me. I didn't know the second song at all, and had no idea what the heck she was singing. Just for fun I played back the last sentence she sang and asked hubby to interpret from me. After 5 times playing it back, neither of us could make out one word.

Which brings me to what is really annoying me about the judges. They all obviously know every song she is singing. But why the heck do they have no clue that not everyone does, and if you don't know the words JENA!@&%$ might as well be singing in tongues, as you have no hope of understanding what is coming out of her mouth? It is really starting to tick me off that all three of them (or 2, as I expect JLo to be that clueless) are totally ignoring this!!! Sheesh.

  5. I have never seen this Abby person before - and hope never to see her again. I am wondering though - why is the show called "Dance Moms" when she is teaching children? And why would anyone watch it? I just watched one of the clips posted on another site and yikes. Why would anyone want to watch someone who, if she was a teacher in a school, would be fired for abuse? I. Don't. Get. It.

But I do understand Maks' comment. I felt at the time he made it, that his comment had little to do with her judging of Meryl, and more that he had no respect for her in the first place. Now I totally understand why.

From just the few posters on this and another site, it seems like there may be many veiwers out there who voted for the first time this season - and voted for Meryl and Maks. So for that, I thank the witch.

  6. The twit of a guest judge got me voting for the first time this season. And all of my votes went to Maks and Meryl. Loved Maks's comment regarding Abbyhorant. And i agree with others that he said what others were thinking. And Derek's support of Maks's comment was priceless

The judging tonight was crap, and especially by the guest judge. All of the judges had negative comments regarding Charlie's dance, and then they all give him 10s. WTH? And after giving Meryl a totally undeserved 8, the guest witch hands out 10s to others like they are candy.

I also think all three duel couples should have been dancing the same dance. If the dance that Meryl/Maks and Danica/Val were given is harder to do in synch, all the couples should have had to do the same. And to have to dance to that horrific JLo song to boot? They should have been given 10s just for figuring out a way to dance to that drivel.

I am sad to see Danica go (couldn't believe it wasn't boring James going). I hope all of Val's fans will throw their votes to Maks now.

  7. I don't think the judges brought in the twist because they were trying to save Sam for another week. I think they were trying to avoid showing who else was in the bottom two because it was their pet, Jena. Otherwise (without all the filler) there could have been time to show the vote, then announce the bottom two, then who was going home. There was no need to go from the vote directly to who was leaving. Has Ai EVER not shown the bottom two before?

TPTB want us to believe that Sam and Jessica are the bottom two. Caleb and Alex have never been there, and Jena is their pet. So what would be the point of saving Sam or Jessica this week only to have both go next week? None.

I don't know if it has been proven who voted no (i read Alex and Jena) but whoever the two were, props to them for not falling for the producers' BS

At this point I am starting to hope for a Jena/Alex final two with Jena winning. Only because I dislike her as a singer, and really dislike the fawning over her by the judges. I fail to see how moving around on the stage equates to a great entertainer. Especially one that cannot enunciate to save her life. And why would anyone buy a CD of someone who cannot be understood? Although I guess if she released a DVD it could be closed captioned. In any case I want to watch the AI pet crash and burn. And I prefer Alex to be able to do his own thing without the AI machine running his life.

I am sure Jessica will end up 4th, and I hope she does well. In fact I hope she outshines JENA in the real world.

  8. Just saw the first  epi of this season. Where the heck did they find Shannon? I loved how she talked about how important it was for her to live in a 'green' house - one that is so big she doesn't know the square footage. Kind of like celebrities that lecture the little people about the dangers of global warming - while flying around in their private jets. Too funny.

Then there is Heather. So happy to be living in a small house because she can actually find her children. But that will only last for two years until they move into their 18 thousand square foot house, and lose each other again. It did occur to me that when her daughters find out that they have built a secret room for their son, they will have to build again. Because I am sure the rest of the kids will want their own secret rooms. And I don't see Heather giving up her hair salon for any of them.

Wow, Briana is moving to Oklahoma. Almost had me singing "Oh What a Beautiful Morning". I do hope Vicki visits, because I am dying to know what people who live there eat!

  9. It has taken me this long to realize that I would love to see Jessica and Alex in the finals. Won't happen, unfortunately.

It has also taken me this long to realize why I hate JENA's singing - I never have a friggin clue what she is saying. Unless I know the song, I am totally lost. The judges always harped on Dexter for this, and he was easier to understand that JENA. I would love to see her in the bottom two tomorrow - so tired of the judges praising her. I. Don't. Get. It.

I always suspected that Caleb was unable to sing a slow song, and the first part of his first songed confirmed it for me. He totally butchered it - and looked very nervous to boot.

I loved Jessica's first song, and think she has come the farthest as far as improvement on performance. Props to Harry for praising her for both songs. Don't get Keith's continual bashing of her. As far as JLo goes, I think she is just jealous of her voice. And for JLo to criticize Jessica on what she brings to her songs? Any of Jessica's songs are far and away better than anything Jennifer might sing. I Luh Ya Papi? Pure drivel.

Loved, loved, loved Alex's "Say Something" - got goosebumps both times I listened to it. And whoever his backup singer was - the two of them were perfection. I don't care where Alex ends up in the final 5 (though I hope he wins) if he puts out a CD I am buying it. Love him.

  10. I never thought it would be possible to out-do Edyta where costumes (or lack of same) are concerned, but Peta managed to tonight. Who knew that ballroom dance and stripping has similar costuming? Ya learn something every day.

I hated the music that Charlie danced to - it was hard to concentrate on his performance because the song was so bad.

What is CA smoking? To give MeMe and Candice the same mark was ridiculous. So glad the narcissist is gone.

Loved Maks and Meryl, as always. Also loved the looks Meryl was giving Maks and Candice in the rehersal. Meryl definitely has it bad for Maks - not that I blame her.

I didn't see the point of Amy discussing her personal life and how they have had problems for the last year and a half. If you are already having problems with your long time partner, why sign up for DWTS?

  11. Whoever does Jennifer's wardrobe please hide all the shortie, short dresses/skirts as once again tonight she looked terrific in a decent length dress.  So much classier than those short little things she's come out in.

Not only does she look much classier is longer length dresses, she looks a good 15 - 20 pounds heavier when she wears barely crotch length dresses/skirts. I'm not sure if no one has bothered to tell her that, or her wardrobe people dislike her and put her in them on purpose.

I am amazed that Jena continues to hang in there. Besides the fact that she is annoying and I usually hate her songs, wasn't she saved by the judges way back in the top 13 pick? Can't imagine why the audience was willing to boot her then and since apparently has been happy to keep her in.

  12. It was defintely CJ's time to go, but it still made me a little sad. Such a nice guy, and I love his megawatt smile. So sweet to see how much the other contestants care for him. Thought Keith smiling and singing along to CJ's final song was strange. But he did look killer in his suit.

Can we vote Grumpy Cat for the win? I told my hubby that Grumpy Cat's real name is Tardar Sauce. He replied "No wonder he is grumpy".

  13. Best part of the night was Grumpy Cat. What a cool cat (no pun intended) and I can't believe how calm he is.

Second best part of the night was Keith telling Caleb after his second performance that he was looking foward to hearing his country song. LOL. Though Carrie Underwood is a country singer, neither of her songs sung tonight would I categorize as country.

Hated both of Jena's songs. The first was karaoke all the way. The second bored me. I had problems hearing her during both songs. I do not see what the judges see in her.

Loved both of Jessica's songs - I think it was her best performance(s) in ages. Too bad Keith and JLo have it in for her. Props to Harry for giving her credit.

I had no idea what Ryan was talking about with regards to Caleb's mike - had to rewind and then saw that the cameras cut to the drummer, so we didn't even see most of what happened until the end. Good save on his part, but don't know why the cameras didn't stay on Caleb the entire time.

I really hate how Ryan keeps rating the contestants by votes - especially when it is done right after someone has sang - obviously unless people are voting without hearing everyone sing, the last singer will not likely be properly represented. Serves no purpose to me.

I really hope Jena is at least in the bottom two tomorrow to shut Keith and JLo up. Not that it likely would, be they need to stop leading the Jena train when it really is a wreck to many people.

  14. Why, why, why is NeNe still there? Is there a Vote For the Worst in play? Can't stand the woman, she is a terrible dancer, and why is her husband's face always on my TV? We get it. You are married. Big accomplishment, apparently.

Maks and Meryl were breathtaking. I rewound and watched the dance twice more. I am so impressed with what they are accomplishing considering Meryl's schedule. Charlie also, but to a lesser degree. So glad M&M got 10s tonight - long overdue.

Who is this Redfool person? What a waste of space. At first I thought it was Wierd Al, but realized he was too young to be him. Have no idea in any case who this guy is, and don't care. Just get rid of the 4th judge - they add nothing to the program other than filler, and the show has enough of that already.

Speaking of filler, I absolutely hate the Macy dances - this week more than ever. Ugh.

  15. I am so disappointed that NastyNeNe didn't get sent packing. What a witch. It is too bad that she can't be send home and Tony stay. I'd love to see some "Free Tony" signs in the audience next week but know it won't happen.

I don't know enough about Disney movies to know what colour dresses should or should not be, but absolutely loved Amy's dress with the heart shaped bodice. And I am not a girly-girl, so was surprised as how much I loved it.

So is Maks single? Love the chemistry between him and Meryl. I never got a sense of Meryl's personality in her ice dancing (and as a Canadian was always cheering for Moir and Virtue over Charlie and Meryl anyway) but I have to say I loved her. And Charlie was robbed of 10s I thought. I actually watched his dance twice, I loved it so much. I think he should have gotten bonus points for recovering from the cane drop and getting right back on track. And BS on the cane drop being a big deal - it is a prop. I was acutally impressed at how much the cane and parolsel were used in an already difficult routine.

Didn't get the love for James's routine. At all. It bored me so hubby and I were chatting through it. When he got 4 10s I rewound to see what we missed. Mr User and I just looked at each other and shrugged.

  16. Posted Today, 01:28 AM

I am thrilled that they saved Sam. Not that I think he will win, but since it could only be used in the next two weeks anyway he is as good a person as any to use it on. He actually sang and interacted better tonight when he sang than he has any time previously. But I think the judges had already decided before the show even started that they would save whoever the bottom person was, based on the fact that they all performed pretty well yesterday. There was almost no discussion during the time Sam was singing, certainly much less than the previous contestants who have been booted off sang. Also JLo never looked upset at all during the discussion, which was a give away to me that Sam would be safe.

Someone had said in a another thread that there was a season that the save wasn't used. So if the save is already built into the season, does that mean that there is a week if it isn't used that the contestants know no one is going home?

I thought it was shitty of Randy to say at the first that he thought Jessica, Caleb and Jena were the only safe ones. He is a mentor, not a judge, so should not be singling contestants out. And why the hell would Alex not be saved? He did a great job singing a fabulous song that he wrote. And he has never been in the bottom three. WTF, Randy??

I think Ryan was wrong that the audience was going nuts over JLo at the first - I think they were going nuts over Harry. Damn he looked hot in that suit!

  17. Wow BogoGog24, thanks for posting regarding Caleb's original song "Down to the River". It is FANTASTIC!!  I like it more than anything he has done so far on AI. I hope at some point he is able to sing it on the show - I would imagine many people do not know he has that type of talent as he does often come off at karaoke-ish. This has put Caleb for me in the forefront. While I love classic rock and would buy an album of cover songs, if he put out a CD of the quaility of Down To the River I would buy it in a heartbeat!

I love Sam and hope he actually goes onto university (can't remember which one it was but do remember it was very impressive) to further his music. He is very talented and I think with a few more years under his belt we will be hearing from him. At least I hope so - I love his voice.
