  1. Apparently your wish is Bravo's command because (at least according to my TV guide) she will be a guest on next Monday's WWHL.
  2. OMG I never realized how funny Donn can be. One example I absolutely loved: "Every time Briana disagrees with Vicki's decisions, an angel gets its wings" Thanks for the heads up OhGromit.
  3. The bolded part is what I keep thinking of in regards to cancergate. As you state NO ONE is ever bragging about weight loss and how good they feel when dealing with cancer. If you know anything about cancer: weight loss is like a death knell! That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it (Sung to the tune of the Collin Raye song "Thats my story and I'm sticking to it").
  4. I agree. To me David always looked like he is wearing a mask. The reason for the mask only he knows for sure. I do think he very likely is a very unhappy person in his marriage and is trying to put on a happy brave face for family and the public. I thought David looked great weight-wise before his weight loss - now I think he looks unhealthy. So I question the possible reason behind the weight loss: Health reasons; Vanity for his paramour; Something else? Bottom line -- this is a stupid reality show and thankfully I don't really waste serious energy worrying about any of these people. It's just fun and games on my TV.
  5. I whole heartedly agree that I want to see this forum demote Brandi by removing any specific reference to one of her scenes from Eileen's thread title. I've read so many funny suggestions for new titles that I can totally get behind. Since Eileen is the Anti-Brandi another possibility might be: Eileen Davidson: Bringing it on with truth, style, and class.
  6. I agree. When I first read about the show here in this thread I rolled my eyes. Then I read the linked article and noted the names of the people putting this project together and the other shows they were involved in and promptly did a 180. Kyle might very well be an exec producer of a hit which will bring in the big bucks. Way to go Kyle.
  7. There was also the young lady that while on holiday with friends went to a posh party and she embarrassed herself by falling, in front of everyone, when going down the stairs. The first person to go to her aid was one of Graham's guests that night, Julie Walters.
  8. I think a lot of the credit for that is thanks to Mauricio and his family. Also being the youngest probably had its advantages in that family. Little Kathy bore the onus of being the first born. Kim being the most successful in her acting career no doubt received extra special grooming from Big Kathy. It sounds like Kyle was left to her own devices to a certain extent as evidenced when she told us in season one that there were times she was an under age driver who drove her self to her own auditions and acting gigs. In short less Big Kathy and more Mauricio and Umanski (spelling?) in-laws influence equals the sister who seems comparatively the nicest and seemingly has the more stable and secure home life for her children.
  9. When Nurse Crane first came on the scene I was concerned that she would be a one dimensional character but thankfully the writers/show runner have come through to make her multidimensional. It started at least one little scene in each episode and now we get an episode that focuses our attention to her professional ability, her compassion, and poignantly with some of the unfairness of life that she didn't ask for but has dealt with utilizing her indomitable spirit. Thank you. I thought I heard her say that she was illegitimate but when nobody else commented on it I began to doubt my hearing/brain. Jean Shrimpton -- YES YES YES that's who she reminded me of. I knew she reminded me of a British girl I became aware of during my Beatlemania days but I couldn't think who and I believe you nailed it. How may times in our lives have we witnessed, taken part in or been the brunt of that type of scene in our lives. Watching her expressions dealing with it made me want to cry. Favorite line/delivery of the show was Dr. Turner's early morning greeting to his wife. I giggled. Overall, one of my favorite episodes for the above and so many other memorable scenes such as Sister J adjusting Sister MC's hair with such warmth emminating from her face, Fred and his budding romance, etc. Too many to list. Edited to add: My one complaint about this episode is that I wanted more of an ending for the story about the diabetic girl and her boyfriend, They didn't actually give it a real ending that a person can sink their teeth into. Too many unanswered questions.
  10. Yes, I think both Lisa and Ken will be the kind of grandparents that over donate to all of their grand babies.
  11. My fuzzy brain thinks that Yo's fuzzy brain misinterpreted what the doctor was saying. She seemed to take umbrage and blew off his/her concerns because what she heard was that she wasn't sick. What I heard was an expressed concern that her condition is either misdiagnosed or incompletely diagnosed. What ever is going on with her it can't be good that she's taking a shot gun blast approach to her treatment where she will try any thing from any where in the world willy nilly plus who knows what kind of megavitamins, minerals, herbs, etc. If nothing else her body may be reacting to all of the stuff she's injecting and ingesting. Wouldn't it be funny if she stopped taking everything under the sun for a month and got healthier. It happens. Lisa R won the night for me by admitting to earning 7 figures for the Depends commercial. Burn Kimmie and eat your heart out Brandy. Ha.
  12. I agree with your entire post, especially this paragraph with special mention to the bolded part. Dammed if you do / dammed if you don't. Thanks zoeysmom for digging out all those old clips. That must have been quite a job. The following is of course is my own opinion/conjecture since I like everyone here I don’t actually know any of these crazy ass people. During the first season reunion it came out that Big Kathy asked the sisters to take care of each other. My view is that this does not rule out that she didn’t catch Kyle alone and request that she look after her golden/problem child Kim. I can totally see that happening. I can also see where Kyle may not have felt comfortable bringing that info out for public discussion. Kyle has made it abundantly clear (and I totally believe her) that Big Kathy’s girls were indoctrinated on keeping family business private and to cover up any issues that come up. This reunion was after the infamous limo incident when neither of Kyle’s sisters were talking to her and she no doubt would have felt totally gun shy on more family controversy. In short one does not rule out the other or in other words both statements may be correct.
  13. Yes, this. I remember picking up on the tone of voice and attitude that Kim used when talking to Mauricio when she was a guest in his own home. In the early pages of this thread a poster mentioned Mauricio's talking head about the PS house. I just wanted to say that I remember that, unfortunately I don't remember any of the details, just that he addressed it. It must have been early in Season 2. After all, Kim probably only had Kyle in her sight when was throwing shade about the house but in reality her accusation was a verbal assault on his professional integrity and could have real consequences in his future career. At that last dinner in Holland when they were talking about women shooting objects out of various body parts, I immediately flashed to the scene in the movie "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" when the Australian guy's young Asian wife started shooting ping pong balls out of her ass. That was the first time I had heard of such a thing and this dinner was the second time. I really live a sheltered life don't I.
  14. Brandy was totally not crying; no redness, no wet eyes and cheeks, no congested nose, perfect makeup, etc. I do believe she was upset over being the brunt of Jeff's nastiness. It wasn't just one nasty barb but repeated jabs , especially the one's relating to her eggs. She really did take umbrage over that one. I think Jeff can't stand Brandy and the bit at the end wasn't the two of them joining forces to punk Andy. Just not buying into that one. Throughout the whole show, I kept noting how much Jeff was leaning away from Brandy instead of leaning toward her and that screen shot of Jeff's expression when Brandy maneuvered him into having to kiss her -- PRICELESS!!!!! Bottom line, I pray I never have an encounter with any of those three d bags in real life. They just are not that likeable under the veneer and I suspect that Brandy might be certifiably cray cray.
  15. I stumbled on this show by accident - My local PBS station had tacked it onto the end of a Downton Abby summary prior to starting the next season so it didn't show up on the schedule. I've got my DVR set for next week's show (which thankfully is listed). Add me to the list who misses the US show. I don't know what I miss most though, the bakers or funny, foxy Jeff.
  16. Well, they certainly saved the best for last. Loved, loved, loved this episode. I am still in gob smacked shock (in a good way) over some of the latest developments and am so looking forward to future developments next season. Questions: Did the show make it clear who actually fingered the German scientest? Is the traitorous Meeks working for the Nazis or the Russians? I don't know about anybody else, but I have my DVR set up to record the marathon. It's going to be so good to rewatch all the episodes now that we know where the story is going. You know, all those little things that meant nothing or that you interpreted a certain way but now we know their true significance. Bottom line, I am not ready for the story to end.
  17. I have to agree with Jen about one thing - Of all the couples I have seen on this show (season 2 and 3 - I missed season 1), for whatever reason, I seem to be pulling for Shane and Nik the most. Why did they bring Farrah back? She wasn't a couple during her season and she still isn't a couple. Last time I checked, the name of this show is Couples Therapy.
  18. Regarding Nicole – Do people really give such young children sriracha sauce? She not only put it in the sauce covering the shrimp but also had some undiluted hot sauce on the side. The youngest one looked like he had been eating table food for just a few months and older brother was only a year or two older. I laughed when the youngest literally spit out his bite of food. All in all, I enjoyed watching the contestants cope with an honest to goodness real life TV show set and audience.
  19. I don't believe I am saying this but I actually liked Slade better than Gretchen this episode and I haven't liked Slade ever. She definitely sunk to a new low between making Kevin her valet and then ditching him. And the idiot counselors make out like Gretchen handled everything just perfectly. Overall, I think everybody else handled "date night" well and most of them had fun with it. I especially enjoyed the interaction between Tanesha and Ryan.
