  1. Watched this and was surprised the case was dropped again. Also surprised no one has started this thread. I think he is guilty and had the luck of no one looking into this case for a month. Just sad no one really noticed her gone. Sad on so many levels. The daughter was a bitch.
  2. That is truly fascinating. It shows how little we know about mental Illness and that is sad. Kudos to Harry Hamlin.
  3. They had a show on NBC called Trial and Error with John Lithgow as the Peterson character and it was really a funny little 10 episode show. The owl killed her in the end.
  4. I agree. We only heard her side of the story. I think she was manipulative and entitled. She gave up her daughter for this. You have to know people are not going approve even if both are adults. I thought she seemed very defiant and ultimately greedy. I am not sure if she killed him though.
  5. I do not but it sounds tragic. Watched Forbidden last night about a niece and her uncle. She was illegitimate so never a part of the family. They have an affair and everyone is upset. They move to Belize and he ends up dead. I didn't understand this because first it is incest and she gave up her children for this relationship. It seems a very steep price. I just thought she was so defiant. This is pretty rareI think. I know first cousins marry.
  6. Agree with Baez on that and only that. He produced the Oxygen show which I thought was slow and boring. I think there was a lot of evidence in the Odin case and I felt bad for his family. Many cases when it is a group, all will be charged so I think Aaron deserved it . But the other two should be serving the same sentence. In the drive by I think Baez had an easier winnable case. It was not clear if it was him. I actually liked the 48 hours piece better because they talked with Odins's family and old coach. All the talking heads in the O special were either so pro Hernandez or icky people . No one from the other side was interviewed and the DJs and that blonde were jerks. It was Baez and his team who talked a lot about Aaron being gay. It was not brought up on 48 hours. It is a truly tragic story.
  7. I really thought it was the DNA evidence that exonerated the husband. The Fitbit helped with the time frame. If it were the sole piece of evidence I think he may have been charged. It was the DNA from Burch and the phone tracking that solve the case.IMO
  8. Oxygen has Snapped and they seem to be going full crime. Must be big business.
  9. Do you have a name or title? Thanks. Did anyone watch on Sat. March 17th. I did not remember that the husband eventually got not guilty. A little surprised.
  10. Yes, thanks. I was surprised the parents had not heard anything from the rumor mill. Did it all happen in about a week? Just so sad.
  11. Web of Lies was very disturbing and sad last night.
  12. Did not like her. Was not happy with the sentence. The judge was snowed by her. She had some resources, how many millionaires do you know? And he bailed her out. Just a frustrating and upsetting show.
  13. The Middle , I am going to miss that show.
  14. I really felt bad for the good son. To be picked over your killer brother has to hurt. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the show Who killed Jane Doe? The time and effort law officers and just people put in to find the person's identity is great. I can remember on I think Murder Book where they tried to find the identity of Mavin the mummy. They worked for quite a few years. He turned how to be a drifter but it still makes me tear up. We are such a throwaway society. Now back to serious and stern Applecrisp.
  15. Which housewife please. Never heard about this.
  16. Good analysis of the show. I think it would be so hard to live with someone like that so I don't like to judge. Yet there were signs as they state on this show. I just wonder where you would go to get help. It really is like someone being stalked. There has to be a crime committed. There was so much denial. I did like that the mother turned him in when he beat the boyfriend.
  17. Where can I find the Patty hearst stuff?
  18. Thanks Druzy. It was really hard to watch. The torture. Also, not even staying to listen to the guy trying to confess was stupid and horrible police work. A true tragedy all the way around. One other thing, if there is a rush to judgement and an innocent is convicted, while it may calm people there is no justice for the dead and a crime was committed to solve it.
  19. Thanks for the link Kells. I thought it odd that Janet smoked and was best friends with that woman. Still very sad. No one deserved that.
  20. I don't remember it at all. Was it really that big of a deal?
  21. Did anyone watch He Lied About Everything? It was a 2 hour , one off story. A news producer interveiws a world renowned surgeon about plastic trachea transplants. They are revolutionary. They instantly fall in love and he is a romantic. Cut to plans for a lavish wedding where the Pope will marry them. Her friends are excited, he is planning the wedding and she knows little. She does end up shelling out some serious cash. Well he is a fraud. While he is an actual Dr. and mostly a good one in technique, he did almost no research on the plastic tracheas and he falls under suspicion. It said that there would be an aftershow of some sort and she would answer questions. I couldn't find it. Anyway, all his patients die a really awful death and he is under heavy scrutiny. OK like some of the women on Evil Lives Here, I found Benita to be similar in that he really hurt her but there were victims who have suffered so much more and I found her very hard to take and I guess I just did not like her. She was an investigative journalist and never fact checked anything! Well she did google to see if the Pope actually marries people.( He does.) Did anyone else see it. Am I being too hard on her?? I was so irritated. It was quite a story though.
  22. Agree. Also she started "going with him " because she was bullied and his family was known as people you don't mess around with. First red flag. She at least tried to divorce him. I watched another Evi Lives Here about "Bob Jones", his wife Cindy was on. She made me a little madder because she never really tried to get away. He finally left. She could not believe he killed a lot of people, upwards of 100. The detective came on and said it was true.
  23. I loved the cat song. The cat puppets were so cute. I was surprised that Trent gave up so easily and left. That in NOT like Rebecca.
  24. I am struck by that all the time. Thanks for pointing it out. Also, strange was the "playdate" with her friend's child. He basically beat him up and Mom covered for him. The child had to play by them. She didn't even mention it.
  25. I wondered but it was not really explained. I wish it had rather than everyone said they were not like us. I still wish he had thought aboutt it before giving the pictures. It took so long to find the guy.
