  1. Just wanted to hang out with my people at ID. My Brother the Serial Killer, I know is not new. I watched and it did not have much about the killings so that was good. I had never heard of Glen Rodgers before. The family was making a lot of excuses which really bothered. He had a person in his trunk and the brother didn't call police? Outrageous ! The brother only turned him in because he knew the old guy. They grew up dirt poor. The OJ portion was laughable. He just happened to be there. I guess what bothers me is we are all having hard time, the economy is bad. People are scraping by and that causes sooo much stress. This is when people start drinking more, there is more domestic violence and the downward spiral becomes worse. I read the first hand accounts of people on food stamps who are working and I want to cry. Food shelters are very busy. People are desperate. I just think, "we are a rich country can't we do better?' I don't know but I am sad. I have little faith in our government and I used to be patriotic( not like the Tea Party) but I thought our system worked. I don't think that anymore.
  2. Did anyone watch My Brother the Serial Killer? I did. What did you think?
  3. Growing up, I loved The Dean Martin Roasts. I longed to be a part of them. It seemed everyone had a great time and they often featured big stars. I just liked the Rat Pack. Today, I don't think you would see a Foster Brooks at all. I remember a lot of those. The old comediennes like Totie Fields and Phyllis Diller and the one note comedian Mr. J Johnson,jr. ( if I remember correctly). My mother never liked Sinatra or Martin and that was part of the reason I liked them. Good memories. Also do you remember SCTV. I really liked that too.
  4. Urlittledogtoo, totaly agree about sitcoms ruining shows with the "favorite character". Another sitcom ruined was Good Times, I guess the parents( John Amos and Esther Rolle) were the stars and JJ became popular. It was DYNOMITE this and that. Very anoying. There is something about sitcoms that stay on too long. They get bad.
  5. OOredsvt, I too watched it but FF through the bondage stuff which was a lot. You got it right, very pedestrian. I get on a kick with Lifetime movies and can't stop watching, then I get tired of them and think I would never watch that. Can't explain it.
  6. Thanks Beckie, I like to come late to the party with some shows, then I can savor watching them. Of course I always end up binge watching.
  7. I saw that too, Walnut Queen. Very creepy. And he may have killed many more. Soooo creepy. Just can't hear about serial killers too scary. I still have not seen all of the Disappeared episodes. So I have a few of those to watch. I watched a really bad Lifetime movie today Class Warfare. Some good shows are coming up. We had our first over 90 degree day here.(Iowa) OK back in the day did anyone watch SCTV. There was a character, who introduced scary films - in a local market, late at night.. Joe Flaherty played the guy and they always got lame movies. Anyhow when I read my post above I thought "you sound like the guy from SCTV." Maybe somebody remembers. Well glad so many people showed up from the other website makes me feel better.
