  1. At TWoP , in the Snapped thread there was a whole list of Dos and Don'ts. One biggie was the hysterical crying with no tears. And of course a cohesive story. She excelled at getting a hit man who doesn't spill the beans, that hasn't happened for a long time.
  2. I had seen this on another show and I thought the son was in on it. Like Ellebbe I still think he was involved.
  3. My UO is like some others have stated for Sleepy Hollow all of the negativity on the forum. For me, it is the show The Middle. It is such an underrated show, which I think is done well and remains funny. The people here in the forums complain so much about Frankie being a bad mother or any inconsistencies. Just drags me down to read the comments. Even the the A.V. Club people just enjoy the show. It is a sitcom, not everything makes sense enjoy this fine little show. If a show bugs you that much DON'T WATCH.
  4. I still watch Deadly Women. On most ID shows the people are pretty or at least attractive, DW is one exception. I find most of the actors rather unattractive. I know I am being petty. One reason I still like the show is that they show the women as monsters. There are no interviews to humanize the criminals.
  5. Again, thanks for the info Suz. Money will make people do crazy things.
  6. It was a very interesting case. I think they both did it and she was one cool cucumber. Suz thanks for the additional info. She just went back to her life after committing incest and murder. I would think she would have been a pariah. This was the weakest one so far, but still head and shoulders above most other ID fare.
  7. I am glad he is not portrayed as a total douche. Just glad they did not go there. I'm just glad she has made some friends at the office and Henry made a friend outside of the office. Henry was rude when he yelled at Eliza at his home with all the guests there, thought there might be some fallout from his co workers.
  8. Help! I have Direct TV and Hulu has it on Hulu plus.
  9. What did you guys make of the juror coming forward? I thought it was odd. She should've taken the plea deal.
  10. Suz, I Killed my BFF, did the Shakespeare/ Dee Dee Moore case a couple of weeks ago. It is a show where they show both sides and if you don't know the story you don't find out until the end. This pairing were never BFF's, I just could not watch it. I had heard too much about the case. They did Skylar Neese this year as well which was appropriate for this show. I now wonder about some of the other cases that I don't know at all.
  11. Yeah, for all this talk about it being a game of "Clue", they didn't establish the murder weapon, just supposed it was a tape dispenser. No real motive, never established he was "double dipping" and wouldn't that be easy to check. They just were adamant he had all the means to clean the murder sight. He did have opportunity, but so did a few other people, there were 13 people working that night. Another thing, the lie detector, if it is not admissible in court it should not be used as the sole reason someone is guilty or not. I have always thought it was laziness on the part of law enforcement. I would not take one either. That was one of the questions they asked last night. if he had planned this and had not been surprised, I just don't think he could clean up the crime scene with no physical evidence.
  12. The investigation bothered me. It seems he was the only one to leave so he did it.… Also, his lawyers were having a hard time putting a defense together. Also in the closing arguments, they sprung the time card fraud on the jury, doesn't seem fair.
  13. Thank you for the tip, toaster. Just popsicle sticks you say. Hmm.
  14. This was heart wrenching in so many ways, the loss this family suffered was so great. I cried and then when they wrote at the end she had died I cried more. That family was tight. The other thing that struck me was how many crimes have happened in Panama by American ex-pats. They probably want us to get the hell out of there.
  15. Is there any word on where we can watch the unaired shows?? Please post if any info. I will do the same. I am really going to miss this. There is so little I even want to watch these days.
  16. A Crime to Remember remains head and shoulders above all ID shows. Such a sad story. It told a story that I had only heard in small pieces, so was glad I watched.
  17. This one really got me too. Oliver Sacks, what a sweet man and Robin Williams was so good. Unexpected crying for me when I watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles. At the end when Steve Martin realizes John Candy's wife is dead and they played Every Time You Go Away (not sure if right name). I really cry. Rudolph gets me. Damn mean Santa.
  18. Amen to all. I just had to "like" every comment. I have been a little down in the dumps and this show just makes me happy. It is sweet and a little madcap. No other new show has interested me so I am really sad to see it go. They are a good couple and both have found their humanity. They challenge each other. A lot of criticism is about the name of the show, which I too thought was confusing. Can anyone think of a decent name for this show?? just curious.
  19. Good summation. So sad. Lukah was so calm and blunt, yet polite. What a scary person!
  20. I never really paid attention or even saw the promos-- I FF through lots of stuff. The title was bad and I was not sure what the show was even about. There was early buzz that was positive. I watched. The thing is I didn't mind the pilot. Bottom line for me, most of the new shows are not very good. This and Gracepoint are the 2 new shows I am watching and fear the latter may be doomed. Dammit where are all the Dr.Who fans??
  21. Why can't they put it on Friday night like they did The Neighbors?? Is this a more expensive show? I don't get it. Cristela will probably be on for a while. I don't understand the network decisions. but it seems like a show with early promise has to perform right off the bat. It is a huge handicap.
  22. There was one friend who talked about Jennifer and how she was a great mother and friend. I got the feeling that they were old friends. Now I wonder how close Eileen was to Jennifer.
  23. I did wonder why no one seemed mad at the friend? With friends like her.....
