The Mom was not great but her daughters have turned out to be awful humans. So sad what has happened to Edgar, humiliating the vet was hard to watch. I know thw title warns us.

Interesting info. I think I have some Cornish blood so always like to here this type of stuff. Are there still Cornish speakers around?

Morwena looks like Sue Heck from the Middle. This show has some unusual names.

S31.E03: Operation Murder (Leon Jacob/Valerie McDaniel)
applecrisp replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in 48 Hours
I was not thrilled with the last bit, her memorial service. I don't want to feel sorry for her. She is not a victim. Also, she knew Leon was going after his ex. so good person is a stretch. -
So happy Geoffrery Charles , Morwenna and Aunt Agatha ar on their own for awhile. How fun for them.

I was really surprised by the second detective, he did all of the investigation behind the guys back and just showed up to arrest him. There really was no favoritism for Rideout. I don;t think he was aa great guy but the family is now destroyed because the 2nd detective did not check out the whoole story and thingss started falling apart after the EMT's testimony. What a waste of time.

So agree with your statement. Last year a lot of people hated him because of how he treated Demelza. I did not like his actions but he was always a man of the people who fought for his workers. He could do some real good and yet he turns it down knowing Geoge would replace him. Vey short sighted. Roos lets his pride get int he way. It is ao irritating.

S31.E01: The Widow On Solway Road (Raynella Dossett Leath)
applecrisp replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in 48 Hours
I have seen this case covered on other shows. She married David 6 months after her 1st husband and David had property next door to her ranch and that was the motive. I think it is a fairly strong one at that. Erin is good but she really dropped the ball on this one. There was a lot left out. I really felt bad for the jurors in this case. I do surveys online and sometimes I will finish one and then am told I ws disqualified. It angers me because I spent the time on it. I always think why not stop me when you have enough responses. So I would be very pissed if I spent days on a jury and was ready to deliberate and the judge shuts it down. That is too much power. We have all seen the cases like Russ Faria that were a total joke and no judge stepped in. Also i did not like her lawyer and agree with the juror. The jury had it right IMO and he shut it down. I have been thinking about this and it really bugs. I did however get a totally unique way of committing murder, death by cattle. If Walnut Queen doesn't mind and I decide to write a muder mystery, death by cattle will be the method.. If I am lucky and do this very soon I may be able to get Sam Elliot to star in the movie that is sure to follow. So thanks. -

I thought she got away with murder. I have seen her case at least twice. Very strange move on the part of the judge. The liklihood of him shooting himself 3 times seems implausible. As the daughter said she was a lucky person. -
The 2 cops that really tackled this crime were pretty darn smart. I just did not catch where they were from because there were three locations who had jurisdiction. just curious. I will say i suspected the ex, but never really thought she could be that evil and threatening and have a job and kids. I guess she was a good mutitasker. What a horrible crazy bitch and all for a really unimpressive guy.

S05.E05: Ease for Idle Millionaires
applecrisp replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Orphan Black [V]
I have noticed that too. At first I thought she wa sick with maybe kidney disease -
This one did make me angry because I just thought Cara thought so highly of herself. She was so desirable. She reminded me of someone I knew. It is Florida after all. Sorry. I can't help it. It was the prosecution's case to lose.

S09.E05: The Politics of Friendship
applecrisp replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
I just don't get how these women can wear sleeveless all of the time. they have great arms and I don't so I hate going sleeveless. Still I would get so cold. Sonja and Ramona on the rooftop made me shiver. -
What channel was this on?? Thanks

Wow , I understand you Hoosiermom. Sometimes you have to look the other way. Our neighbors had a tree on their side of a battered chain link fence, right next to our property. They put up a privacy fence that cut off right by the tree, effectively putting it in our yard. It made both me and my husband quite angry because we have to take care of it now. But what can you really do? It is so hard. No one likes to be taken advantage of . Yet, is it worth it to make a stink? I think that is why I find Fear Thy Neighbor so compelling. It hits so close to home. But we do not have people harassing us daily so there is that. It is hard to live by people. It is hard to live with people, too. Sometimes people suck and I just want nothing to do with them at all.

I had little sympathy for them. I just thought had he not used so many shots, only 1 for each he would have been able to defend better. Also,I wished the couple HAD called the police more or documented more. Just very hard to watch let alone living it to witnessing it. I wish child services had been called. Also, what happened in the 10 years. They really had gone off the deep end. I felt bad for the guy getting basically a life sentence.

I like Murder Comes to Town, too. I saw both episodes of the new season of Fear thy neighbor. The episode last night was hard to watch. I wondered when they came back with a child. It just made me wonder if he was really theirs. So hard to watch. I think of all the ID shows this one hits closes to home. Not sure why. Just the thought of being harassed in your own sanctuary seems really awful. I wished he had not pumped them full of ammunition because that really sealed his fate. I actually think ID has been improving of late. There are not as many salacious shows as in the past... My Dirty Little Secret, Scorned and the like. I am enjoying a lot of the recent shows.

Yeah, I can't stop thinking about it. The original adoptive Dad took the little 6 year old Poppy to a junky house and just dropped her off didn't ask for ID or check out the premises. I would never do that to a kitten or pet. Then she was not put in school. It is just so bad and dangerous and awful. No words. I can see way you could not watch, I was sitting with my hand on the FF button. They didn't show anything too bad. I felt so bad for the Russian kid.. I am at a loss. I am at a real loss.

Did anyone watch the Web ofLies about the children being re-adopted and there are almost no laws to regulate it. Very sad disturbing and something really has to be done. It is heartbreaking.

I have been watching the old Unsolved Mysteries and enjoying them. Some of the people remind me of relatives who are gone and I found myself teary eyed. Life has changed so much. Nostalgia has hit me and I find myself missing so much. just wanted to say they solved quite a few crimes and brought people to justice . America's Most Wanted did as well. We need a show like that now. love Robert Stack.

Yes, In the first season she implied she was the "hot" teacher.
-
I liked it too. They are all decent humans , the Roses. What was Moira's singing at the end.
-
I also think if she were on Green Acres she could talk to Arnold the pig.

Love this show. Maybe a little like Green Acres. Alexis reminds me of Lisa.
