  1. I'm way behind on my DVR on the coverage tonight - but it's positively heartbreaking watching Matthews, Rather, Greenfield and Susan Page, talk about what might happen Tuesday night. Where is my country? I feel so untethered.
  2. Well, it all depends on what the meaning of indefatigable is. I don't think it's a compliment when Clinton feeds it back at Bitchell™ when she asked a dumb question on the tarmac.
  3. Twitter is melting down laughing at this display of utter ignorance. tRump doesn't understand that there is this stuff called software... eta: This stupid notion originated with Gen Flynn and someone else (don't care to go look) that spontaneously posted the same stupid shit on twitter. KAC repeated in her interviews on MSNBC. Ship of fools.
  4. I'm getting more and more cautiously hopeful. I just posted a link to this in another thread - but I actually thought it might be good here, it made me feel better anyways.
  5. Well that's true of tRump's base. Most liberals appreciate it, in fact they eat that shit up. See: Yes We Can and American Prayer.
  6. I have a feeling that this will come up, MaddowBlog tweeted about it - this unfortunately is a photo Soledad O'Brien snapped here in Minnesota this afternoon at the tRump rally.
  7. heh, Cory blocked her. I took it out - you can just go to twitter and look for Katy and see it.
  8. They Dreamed Of Putting A Woman In The White House. Now They Wait Anxiously.
  9. I agree, but I'm not sure there is much to work with - the well is pretty poisoned - that said, it's in her nature to collaborate. She has a tightrope to walk, to be pragmatic with the right and keep all her promises to the left. Ha, I keep forgetting why I click into one thread or another. So, anxiety relief... I just spent an hour or so, lurking about on twitter, Lovett, Favreau, Pfiefer, Mesinna - you know, the Obama team. They all seem pretty damned confident and jovial - I don't think it's a front.
  10. They had software to look at the to and from, and use a date parameter - then they had software to check for duplicates. It was only a matter of time, and I'm actually rather shocked how long it took. I'm guessing that it was only thousands of emails and of course not the ridiculous 650k total number they were throwing around. And I'm guessing it was a backup situation that landed Huma's emails on Anthony's laptop - an accidental restore from a cloud or the like onto the wrong machine.
  11. Before the bad news even landed... Inside Donald Trump’s Last Stand: An Anxious Nominee Seeks Assurance Apologies if this has already been linked/mentioned.
  12. That split screen grab makes me want to puke. They had one where Obama was yakking standing by The Beast - and the steps were sitting against tRump's plane. Those things should have never happened in split screen, ever. Not in the history of this country, and I'll be bitter towards all the people that brought it about for a very long time.
  13. Many healing vibes to you. ♥ YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!
  14. It's widely known that tRump had Roberts judge the Miss Universe pageant the year it was in Russia - it was a hot topic on Way too Early and Morning Joe for quite awhile. It gave Me-eka another opportunity to cluck-cluck about beauty pageants.
  15. I suspect you'd be dead wrong. Arms Bitchell™ has spent decades being disdainful of anything Clinton. If we see tears, they will be tears of bitter, bitter jealousy.
  16. Donald Trump will win Minnesota by stopping by the airport today Context, City Pages is the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St Pau) progressive, music, foodie weekly free newspaper. If you see this rally from the discount Sun Country airline hangar and there are thousands of people - you must remember that these are the assholes that elected Jesse Ventura, Michele Bachmann and John Kline - most of us are not like that, at all. p.s. This great blog describes the folks you'll see. IMPORTANT ETA: You will see Minnesotans sporting sunglasses, t-shirts, shorts and flip flops, it's 70° and sunny here.
  17. For even the most cynical the double entendre of the song should have meaning.
  18. Hugs @Jodio. I'm glad that I can't stay motionless for too long in the event of bad news, since I'm finally going to get to see my daughter dance in person for the first time since she's been in college. Our girl looks exhausted speaking at a church this morning, her voice is croaking. I think I've put my finger on the reason I can't escape anxiety about the next couple days, there are zero cockey data campaign folks in the media saying "we got this" like we saw in the last two campaigns. It's making me worry about the internals that we don't get to see or know about until post election.
  19. A.J. Delgado is a Harvard Law graduate - which is why I think she gets some play on MSNBC as opposed to the ship of fools over on CNN. But she's just as full of horse manure as the rest of them. We get A.J., Cortes, Ellmers and Schlapp for the most part as opposed to McNinny, Death Panels McCaughey, Bullet Necklace Shoplifter Pierson and Shrieking Nell Hughes. It's hard to believe that the group that MSNBC allows on are the sensible ones.
  20. Why the hell is Arms Bitchell™ dressed like it's -40° out? Sure it's a blustery 50° but come on...
  21. I'm enjoying Joy's Michael Moore interview the most of those that he's done since Trumpland came out. I know I harshed on Moore a couple weeks ago about being a bed-wetter after being terrible about Hillary during the primaries but he's really doing yeoman's work to explain what is actually good about Hillary and why it's possible to vote for her. It would be nice if some of the others that have come around would be working this hard to be out there in the media saying the same things.
  22. I follow a lot of nerds and media types, and I think it was Sam Stein that tweeted yesterday that he didn't like it when people fight. lol His deadpan about most things is amusing.
  23. Agreed. He's heartbroken, he was almost in tears a week or so ago on Bri-Wi's show.
