  1. Well shit, this is going on the DVR fo sho.
  2. Why the hell does Matthews look so puzzled about white supremacy and tRump's stoking of white nationalists?
  3. We know a few things about his kids, one of the boys from his first marriage (can never remember which) was diagnosed with Asperger's and we know that Jack was severely premature which often leads to developmental issues. So that easily accounts for 2 of the 4. Anybody that believes his kids were reading Chaucer at seven is a fool - but I'd easily understand Harry Potter.
  4. He is, and he represents all of the Clinton's worst instincts. Band was the keeper of the friends and enemies list at the end of Hillary's 2008 run, and Bill followed through on that list starting in 2010 - choosing who to back in primaries for House seats and Senate seats.
  5. That is utter bullshit - a series of those paid Clinton speeches for UBS were done with President Bush. Really disingenuous of Nicolle because it's right there, spelled out at WaPo.
  6. Agreed. Should I start praying today that Cheryl Mills (who also was a big part of the 2008 Clinton campaign disaster) gets retired back to cleaning up the closing shop at CGI and the Foundation now? I knew there was a reason that I really, really like Neera Tanden. :) John Podesta has known where all these bodies are buried all along - I wish he could have stopped the Clintons from being every bit as skeevy as they are. The unforced errors and greed are exhausting. Good thing that tRump is such a terrifying candidate for most people, but if this is what is getting spilled on 12 days out via Wikileaks - what more is coming? ::eep::
  7. I noticed that Joe trotted out his Hillary is a moderate and a neocon talking point for the first time in a long time, I think maybe since he was "rooting" for Bernie in the primaries, what's his angle with that? Also, it appears that Joe's ability to read trend lines appears to be broken.
  8. It's especially true with Catholics and Mormons, but it also applies with run of the mill not born again Protestants. It's something about accepting Jesus into your heart, shenanigans. I'll never understand it really - being a recovered agnostic/atheist Catholic, but I have stories about it. ;) I proudly failed. Which is why I detest CCB.
  9. Ding Ding Ding. Hard core born again Evangelicals believe that no others (no matter their Christian faith) receive Grace, or will be accepted in Heaven.
  10. Happy to see Michael essentially humiliate CCB. Americans that are certain in their religious beliefs respect the 1st Amendment and know better than to force their particular beliefs on others. Michael is correct - Hillary lives her faith rather than spew divisive nonsense on teevee like CCB. If you haven't - it's worth spending the $4.99 on iTunes - as pissed as I am/was at Michael Moore over the primaries, he redeems himself in support of Hillary in this film.
  11. The Circus was excellent last night - it's a Showtime show. Can't get on the Toad train with y'all, I like him much better as a poll geek as he was in 2008 - and I don't find his Sunday MTP panels any more even handed than Gregory's or Russert's; they are almost always imbalanced towards the right - but at least Toad never danced with Karl Rove. I only ever really enjoyed him with Savannah Guthrie for the 9 a.m hour back in the day for The Daily Rundown. He's better on MTP daily because then he tends to just be a political geek. So, Andrea Bitchell™ and Kasie Hunt are in Manchester, NH where it is 54°, sunny with wind at 12mph, in down freaking coats. Seriously? That's been her title for years.
  12. So in a quick appearance between breaks, Me-eka mispronounced Nevada; makes one wonder whether she and Joe are the ones that told tRump the wrong way to pronounce it. At a rally sometime in the last couple weeks, tRump made an ass out of himself mispronouncing it and telling the Nevada audience that he's hearing that they hate it when it's mispronounced.
  13. Joe is out of the building. Me-eka was absolutely ridiculous with Michael Steele. He was right - he's sat there for what, 18 months, commenting and analyzing the process. Not once has he gushed about tRump while yes, Me-eka, you and Joe slobbered all over tRump. Jesus, again with this show - when Ben Ginsberg is the voice of reason - stop making me side with people I dislike so! And yes, Me-eka you are on your high horse, and I suspect when it's all said and done, there will be much ink used regarding the role that you and Joe played in elevating tRump this cycle and throwing him in our face for the better part of a year.
  14. Hmmm, I overslept so I missed bits this morning, but my general impression is that these two toads live in an alternative reality - I don't understand at all, why Phil Griffin is riding this train to hell for temporary ratings. It seems fiscally imprudent in the long run, unless he's anticipating a point and jeer fan base. How the hell could they sit their with straight faces with this bullshit about Barbara Boxer (and Ohio voting irregularities, of which there many) and show mostly clips of tRump being unfunny and not call his ass out for once, for breaking a tradition with that crap last night when it's breaking the internet? Exasperating.
  15. I feel like she has panels of Up With Chris Hayes and MHP caliber - which Kornacki dd not. I also appreciate her feistiness and refusal to allow robotic surrogates spew lies and cross talk.
  16. Ewwww... Joe actually tapped Me-eka's elbow to shush her and she shushed whilst he spoke for the both of them. I gotta agree, Kristol won't be back and neither will Nicolle - because one is not allowed to disagree so blatantly with these two and see another appearance. Or at least they'll be banished for a long period of time. Has Jonathon Capeheart been back since Joe went off on him so terribly? eta: removing foot from mouth as Nicolle appears on screen.
  17. Joe, Joe, Joe. Intervention is not what Neocons are about, they are about gaining the upper hand in a geopolitical world. See: Me-eka's papa for an example of a Democratic Neocon.
  18. I'm on a delay - but I'm actually terrified that I agree with Bill Kristol. That's what a never ending zombie hamster wheel election cycle has reduced me to. :(
  19. The hysterically ironical remarks about tRump's purchase of a six foot portrait are not lost on anyone, Me-eka and Joe.
  20. Did you think that about Me-eka? I'm actually watching and not just listening, I thought she was smirking in agreement and gazing with devotion at Joe. It's definitely one more audition for tRump teevee. eta: why in the world are they pretending that tRump wasn't briefed on the hacking in his intelligence briefings which makes him claiming not knowing who is doing the hacking a bald faced liar - repeatedly, spanning all of the debates. I was actually disappointed that Hillary didn't call him out on it, but I get it, no talking about the briefings.
  21. I'm finally finding my voice, I find it deeply misogynistic and offensive, and have noted it elsewhere on PTV. And personally? I"m up to my neck with that right now with this heinous election cycle.
  22. Mad Latina time with Chris Hayes... Hugh Hewitt, once again spewing anti-Clinton stuff right and left and not focusing on issues. That's going nowhere as Heidi Przybyla and Joy Reid are right, even Costa seems exhausted by the shenanigans.
  23. Donnie had been one of the only voices of reason on MJ lately, along with John Heilemann, Steve Schmidt and Katy Kay. Has Nicolle been back since Me-eka bit her head off? She's been a frequent guest on Bri-Wi's 11th Hour.
  24. Why do Mika and Joe change so often between the first two hours and the last 30 minutes? Inquiring minds want to know. Are taking bets on the over/under of tRump groping allegations today? How about whether or not tRump will get Ms Mondale's first name correct?
