The normalizing of hate and everything dangerous is breaking my heart. The list of things, the very long list of things... starting with basic freedoms and climate change. Also, all the progressive infighting. I'm really struggling to make it through any of the steps of grieving.

Day two home from my trip - still heartbroken. I managed to keep it together Wednesday packing and preparing, Thursday traveling - Friday through Sunday alone in a hotel room and swearing I would not over-drink or do anything stupid, since I was out-of-state, so now I'm safe at home (not responsible for a rental car or hotel room) and am on day two of drinking before noon in my meltdown. I've been busily researching countries to live in on the cheap. I'm terrified. The zombie hamster wheel election from hell has turned into a living hell. I simply don't understand how this happened. Bannon in the Oval Office? Seriously? I didn't read all the entries since I left for my trip but I offer this: Dear ‘Brogressives’ — Please Let Women Mourn Hillary Clinton

Sorry - I didn't read all the pages, way to much to consider and I'm still too brokenhearted she lost for all kinds of reasons! I'm terrified.

I think it was Rachel that showed how devastated the young ladies at Wellesley were/are - it was much the same at Mount Holyoke. I really didn't want to make the trip there feeling all mopey and sorry for myself, but I rallied and I'm almost done packing and ready to go! She needs me.

So, at 6:30 this morning I texted the lass asking her if she'd hate me if I didn't come. I got back a not very happy text back, but do what you gotta do. I replied that I needed a few hours. I ate more bad food and took a long nap. We talked again an I told her I'd do my best to get it together and get packed. I'm almost done packing - and I'm pretty sure that I'm going for it. It will take my mind of this disaster.

It looks like Hillary won the popular vote by about 200k votes. Is that a silver lining? I think it means that tRump has no mandate - and we'll watch the Democrats filibuster a lot of things. We got Senator Hassan as a pick up Democrat, another silver lining along with our new Somalian MN State Representative.
