The pure competitions are a racket, but it's fun for the girls to go to the regionals and perform and be adjudicated, see where they stand in the community of dancers and if they've improved their own scores as soloists.

Well, the added touch of a plastic table cloth and what appears to be paper plates and plastic forks is delightful as well.

Emma also came in 3rd for Outstanding Dancer at NYCDA. I haven't found the final winner listings for TDA yet for either Vegas or NYC.

That was my guess. Scratch is best of course, but I just keep one in the freezer for when we have "one of those nights" or are low on groceries. But honestly, aren't holidays supposed to be special? As in special cooking and not throwing frozen things in the oven?

The dance shows suck me in - but pure reality? Shhhh, I loved Snoop Dog's show, it was hilarious.

Wallace was the Communications Director, no? Palin was the princess of Bill Kristol and his ilk. When McCain couldn't choose Lieberman he was desperate because it was the last minute. I don't think "vetting a potential VP" falls under the purview of a communications director. Perhaps she suggested the "pause" during the financial meltdown which was incredibly dumb, but I wouldn't hang the choosing of Palin around her neck, nor the tragic lack of vetting.

If that were the only type of thing that Sherri tweeted about Jeffrey, I don't think I'd have such a problem with being inappropriate, that's a very sweet tweet. It's just on the line, but it is something we all know, kids are at a loss when their parents start crying.

I'm certainly not lauding her, at all. But I think it was clear to the majority of US citizens that with Palin on that ticket, there was only one choice. Anybody that caught even one of those xenophobic appearances of hers knew what was the right vote.

My impression was that she was being satirical. Guess she failed miserably for most.

I have a special snowflake spelled named child. I swear, I was all over the traditional until the spouse asked about confusing nickname spellings and I caved.
