I’ve loved Roger since OLTL. I’m neutral on Austin because they haven’t done much with him. He started off interesting. I’m somewhat interested in this female relative of his. IMO, the writers just need to write for him. That would help immensely. I know many here hated Franco, but the character worked and was perfectly fine. He didn’t need to die, but they killed him off and brought Roger back. They need to develop his new character. Austin could still hook up with Ava, Liz, or Carly. Roger has great chemistry with all three actresses. If Roger wants to leave, that’s fine but I don’t think he should be fired or anything! They literally don’t write for him. He can’t do anything with the limited scripts he gets.

Sadly, I think they may have decided to just axe the Nikolas character. He’s not really necessary, especially since Spencer is back and an adult. If Nikolas is presumed dead, that gives Spencer a story - stepping up to run the empire, Victor being his mentor, etc.

I’m so sorry to hear about Sonya’s passing! I know it was fast tracked and not too realistic but I was looking forward to Epiphany becoming a doctor!! She was so young! My thoughts and prayers are with her family!!!

He has a nice post up on his Instagram! I like Marcus and am probably in the minority but I will miss him. With him gone, my interest in Esme and the Cassadines, in general, has plummeted. I now don’t care what they do with Nikolas. He was already ruined (IMO) with the Esme ness! I’m not gonna judge him for not filming his last scenes because I don’t know what went down. I hope he lands on his feet somewhere else.

I’m at that table with you. In fact, I’ve loved every recast of Nikolas more than TC’s version of the character. Oddly enough, I dislike the TC version because of how snobby and arrogant he always was. I get that that makes sense for the character but he was always obnoxious to me. I really couldn’t stand TC/Nik. I loved Coltin Scott’s Nik though. I also liked Nick Stabile and Marcus. I’ve missed the temp recast. Anyway, I really like MC so I hope he’s not gone. That said, they’ve really taken a hammer to the character with this Esme mess so I’m done with all things Nik for the foreseeable future anyway! If I was watching, I would be FFing/muting his mess of a story!

That tweet was from her fan club, not her! 🤣 I thought it was cold too but then noticed the handle was not hers. Her Twitter name isn’t her actual name. It’s like “iamford” or something like that! I loved that soda can scene too! I was looking forward to an Rory/Trina pairing. I also liked when they went to the art gallery together. I just think the writers didn’t write for them but, admittedly, I missed a lot of their courtship when I quit regularly watching months ago. But when I saw them before, I thought they had chemistry.

They are just determined to annihilate Nava. Well, if they wanted to lose me as a fan, they succeeded. I'm done. I think MC and MW have great chemistry, and I would have loved to see what they could have done w/a well-written Nava but that's clearly never gonna happen. I'm tired of rooting for a couple, and they keep getting screwed over. It's just one bad plot after another. It's tiring. I'm done. I don't even know why this is happening to them. Other than SoNa (for me), there is no other rootable couple for me to watch w/Nava being dead. I mean I like Liesl and Scotty but they are rarely shown. Britt and Austin would be good but Britt's exiting. Fiz sucks. Sante is boring. Sprina is taking too long to get together. Drewly is awful. I couldn't care less about Jex. I don't even need to mention Mildew! In addition to bad couples (IMO), the plots are super slow. There are so many plots that need to be kicked into third gear or whatever. Even the arcs I was interested in have lost my interest! Sorry for the rant. I'm just not a happy viewer, which is why I haven't been watching or posting lately. This show needs an overhaul, IMO.

I just can’t be bothered to care at all about Esme. I’m happy Nikolas has her locked up. It was nice to see her outsmarted for once. And I don’t care that Liz is keeping Nik’s secret. I wouldn’t care if Esme and her baby died. The character is completely pointless IMO. And, yes, I know many characters could be deemed pointless on this show, but she tops the list for me right now. Esme has been on for more than a year at this point, and she’s still pretty much a mystery to me. All we know is she does her dad’s bidding. Why? Who knows? We don’t know her personal dreams and desires. We don’t know if she wants a baby or just plans to use her baby to further whatever plan Ryan has. We don’t know if she ever cared about Spence! 🙄 We don’t know why she filmed Caoss and released it. What was that about? Because Josslyn was mean to her? Is that it? Why did she torch Ava’s car? What was the point of that? Why was she jealous of Trina when she didn’t even hesitate to sleep with Spencer’s dad?!?! Was it ego? What is motivating her in all this? Just to know her dad? That’s it?! That’s not enough for me. Esme is in cartoon villain, one-note category for so I find it difficult to care about what happens to her. She has no layers and is not entertaining to me on any level so I just want her gone. Nikolas doesn’t need a baby and he certainly doesn’t need one with pointless Esme.

Ugh . . . is that what they talked about? I had them muted! I have no interest in them as a pairing b/c I cannot stand Josslyn, but if the plan is to make them some super hot couple, they need to move on from her irrational Sonny hate. That's going to get boring and repetitive.

I don't hate Nina but she's doing a little too much in this episode! Girl, you don't have to tell that man everything you see or suspect. Come on! LOL! It's like she's trying to cause problems. Calm down, Nina! Everything about Willow is boring - even when I have her muted! I don't care about this search for her mom, esp. since we all know who that is. This story needs to be over already. Drew is such a massive disappointment. What a waste of a character. Why is Dex still in that dorm room? Why is he not in a hospital somewhere? He could be dropped off at the ER and leave before the police get there. Take him to Mercy or something. I'm sick of looking up and seeing him sweating in that bed! He got shot last week, right? Jason would have healed by now. LOL! Is there a reason we should care about this phone? Dex isn't sexting Josslyn so who cares!! Am I missing something? I wish I could care about Liz's story b/c it was the main one I cared about months ago but . . . . . . it's all falling flat to me. Don't care about her parents, Reiko, or Fiz. They took too long to start this story. Is it over now? If it is - talk about anti-climactic! Is Reiko returning to cause trouble? If not, what was the point? Something has to happen w/this story beyond Jeff returning, right? We didn't waste months for nothing, right?

Ugh!!!! So this is gonna be dragged out even longer?!?! I’m done! And how much bone marrow is needed? Can one donation be sufficient in real life? I’ve also heard it’s very painful to donate bone marrow! Ugh…….I’m so over this story. It’s been dragging out for literal years at this point. Wrap it the heck up, GH!!! This is ridiculous!!!

Oh, I love Sprina!! I love the way they both smiled when they saw each other! Let’s get this pairing together already! I’m tired of waiting (even though I haven’t actually been watching lately)! 😂 Austin and Britt would be so good together. Loved their scenes. I don’t hate Mastin as much as others - I thought they had chemistry in the beginning but they weren’t shown for months so it never really developed - but RoHo and KT really work well together. I like their chemistry and think it should be explored. Is KT leaving leaving? Does anyone know for sure? Vanna was cute. I really only paid attn at the end and the very beginning. They have good chemistry. Sonny was good today. I like his interactions with Jordan. Whenever I see Jeff Kober, I just see Rick from The Walking Dead biting out his throat! Haha! Great episode if you’ve never seen it. I only unmuted the jail stuff when Cyrus showed up. Loved his scenes with Laura! Josslyn - automatic mute for me though I caught her bed bug lie and her refusal to let Dex call Sonny. She is never not obnoxious!! Poor Cameron. Hope he wakes up soon and realizes she’s not worth it!

Right?!?! I couldn't care less about Willow! I also doubt anything bad will happen. They won't kill her b/c they want Nina to have a daughter on the show, and they would NEVER dare kill off one of Michael's precious babies! His sperm must be protected at all costs. 🙄

And this goes back to my main issue with Esme and what I’ve been questioning since she appeared: what are her motivations and desires? Why is she doing all this? Why is she on my screen?! She’s been on for a year now (or longer) and we still don’t really know anything about her and why she’s doing all this! Does she just want to please her daddy or does she have her own reasons? If she has her own reasons, will we ever find out what they are?!? Did she ever love Spencer? Given how easily she screwed his dad, I’m guessing no but who knows? Why did she take and release the sex video? What was the point of all that if she was doing her dad’s bidding all along?!? And why would a young girl want to have some rando’s baby? Is she planning on selling it to Nikolas? Wasn’t her goal to break up Nava?! That has been achieved. Why is she still doing all this?! We just never see any fleshing out of her character. She has no goals or motives or deeper reason behind anything she’s doing. She’s a straight cartoon villain!

Oh, that’s another thing that killed me! Portia has a whole 20-year old daughter!!! Hers was not a teen pregnancy, and I don’t think she was pregnant during medical school. Portia has got to be in her mid-40s. Heck, let’s say she had Trina at 20, then she is 39-40. It’s not that easy to get pregnant at that age. BK looks amazing, but Portia is not in her early 20s. My friend’s pregnancy was termed geriatric by her doctor at the ripe old age of 33!!!! And at their stage in life, I have a hard time believing they would even want to raise one infant let alone three!!!! I understand the conversation was mostly for the Trina secret, but I would have appreciated an honest conversation about the odds of Portia giving birth!

Is there a reason Josslyn has to be a bitch to Sonny every single time she interacts with him? Like seriously? Josslyn is still raging at Sonny? Why? What was the point of today’s scenes anyway? We get it. Josslyn hates Sonny and wants nothing from him. Ok. There was no need for her snarky little rant after he dropped her off. The character is obnoxious and exhausting! The show needs to move on from her Sonny hate. At this point, she should just be ignoring him, not raging at him every time he crosses her path. Get over it, Josslyn! She’s like 20-years old. Grow up!! I ignore the ppl I dislike. Josslyn should try it some time!!

Well, color me shocked b/c I've never seen a soap opera before - Esme is pregnant!!! I'm literally shocked!! 🙄 I didn't watch but my sister told me what happened. GH is so boring and predictable. I read about Esme's scenes w/Ryan yesterday so I'm not even sure if she's actually pregnant . . . . . but whatever. It's still all so predictable and uninteresting. I wish I could like Esme and Ryan but I just don't. They aren't fun villains. They are just psychos. I have no use for them. Soaps really need to start switching stuff up. Would it be that bad to try something new? Something the majority of the audience hasn't seen before? Could be fun.

So, my sister told me all about today on ILLOGICAL HOSPITAL, and I'm so over the mob at this point. If GH doesn't intend to give any weight or logic, or even just a little bit of reality to it (i.e., not letting Michael and Joss just roam in where they were not wanted, not torturing someone in an open restaurant where anyone could find him, etc), then I wish they would let Sonny leave the mob. Heck, Ava and Julian did so why can't Sonny? Jason is no longer here, and they refuse to let Sonny actually be a mobster sooooooooo . . . . . do we really need this ineffectual, incompetent lame version anymore? It's not 90s or the early 00s. The mob isn't exciting and new, esp. when you water it down to the point of ridiculousness. I told my sister that both Sonny and Michael sounded stupid today from what she told me. Sonny for being upset that the CARVER he hired used knives to intimidate ---- not even CARVE but just intimidate?!?! That's too much for precious Sonny?!?!! What is this? That's moronic, esp. for a mob boss. Sonny should have been fine w/Carver's tactics b/c he's a mob boss. The show wants to have it both ways - show Sonny as intimidating but also show him as a nice guy who doesn't cross lines. That doesn't work. This kind of wishy-washy, bad writing usually ends in Sonny looking like an ineffectual idiot. And Michael is stupid for being shocked at what Sonny did. Hey, Moron, Sonny tortured your bio dad to sign over his rights to you. Jason routinely beat ppl up for your dad and the business. Sonny is a mob BOSS! WAKE UP! Why are you acting like any of this is new? Idiot. Michael is too dumb for words. And I knew Dex would remain in his role in Sonny's organization, which makes no flippin' sense at this point. LOL! As I said yesterday, I'm done w/GH for awhile. I'll still read the boards, but I cannot bear to watch anymore. Everything is either slow and plodding or straight up stupid! lol

So, I had the show on in the background b/c I'm at the office today (lol), and I just saw Michael and Joss strong arm their way into Sonny's freezer where he's keeping Dex. I HATE this show. I really do. I exited from the app after that crap. They should NOT have been allowed to find Dex. Dex should have been discovered dumped on a corner somewhere. Where are Sonny's guards anyway? Why are Joss and Michael just allowed to continually walk into his business? I guess I was supposed to cheer b/c stupid Dex was saved! Nothing even happened to him. I guess they will just let Dex walk away from Sonny now w/no consequences or better yet they dumb Sonny down to the point of ridiculousness and have him keep Dex on?!??!?!?!! Whatever they do - I will not be watching. This show is lame! @ffwbe- I couldn't agree more w/you about Diane! She should be dead, but of course, they don't kill Diane. They just kill poor Brando who could have LEFT TOWN! It enrages me. They say there will be another victim. I'm sure it will be Felix b/c it won't be anyone "important," making this story POINTLESS! Screw this show!

I agree w/your entire post, but I esp agree w/this! I often highlight Liz's story as an example of poor pacing, but this revenge plot is a good one to highlight too. It may be shown more often than Liz's, but it's still taking too darn long to get to the point. What is the ultimate goal of this stupid story? For Michael to hurt Sonny? And then what? What's the story after that? I'm over this revenge, esp. b/c the reasons are lame. This story needs to be over and done w/already.

Are we supposed to care about Dex? LOL! I couldn't care less about him, and if I were Dex, I would have spilled the beans the moment Sonny asked me to go w/him. How much is Michael paying him? Not often to be tortured - physically or mentally - I'm sure. Dummy Dex was safer at the police station. You don't play around w/mob folks. Michael is a moron. Instead of just writing off Sonny and living his best life, Sonny lives rent free in his little, feeble mind. He just had to take Sonny down for having amnesia, and now, he's running around, trying to save his lackey. Did Michael not think his stupid plan could go sideways and that Dex could end up dead or seriously hurt?!?! He hired this boy to involve himself in the mob. Dex could easily be shot and killed by one of Sonny's enemies. Michael is an idiot. He put this boy up to this so let it play out! I'm glad Sonny questioned him about his interest in Dex. Again, don't play around w/mobsters. The anvils were falling fast and hard today. A Taggert showing. Trina and Taggert bonded and together. Trina suddenly angry w/Curtis. Curtis being super intrusive and pushy w/someone who is NOT his child (to his knowledge). All the remarks about Curtis not being a dad or how he would be a great dad. If we didn't already know, today sealed it: Curtis is Trina's dad. I didn't see all of the show, but I'm glad Jordan got to say some stuff to Portia. I hate that this show will have Jordan take Curtis back BUT I'm happy w/Portia's world falling apart! I love Roger, so it was nice to see him! Wasn't paying too much attn though. I see hints of chemistry btw Maxie/Austin (like when he leaned in for the kiss), but we just don't see them enough. Still hate Cody. Muted Joss/Dante. Muted Spinelli/Sam. Can wardrobe PLEASE do better by KSt?! Guess not. That's all I got.

Curtis is downright hateable! I cannot believe how much they have ruined his character. "Poor thing." Argh!!! How dare he refer to Jordan that way? He is so conceited and arrogant, and the worst part is this crap show would have Jordan take this jerk back in a heartbeat! ARGH!!! And what about your secrets, Mr. Perfect? Has he told Portia he's in cahoots w/Selina? He goes around thinking everyone owes him 100% honesty but he can't even give that to anyone else?!?!! I cannot wait until he sees Portia for the liar she is, and I cannot wait until Portia's massive lie blows up in her face. I hate both Curtis and Portia. They are not even a rootable couple! They both suck! lol Oh, and I loved when Jordan told Portia she didn't need to explain her ex-husband to her! I hope Jordan gets to read Portia for filth tomorrow!!! This show is crap if she doesn't. We mention Liz's plot dragging but this Michael revenge plot is dragging too, and it isn't all that interesting!

Well, the actor said it was a surprise to him so I'm not thinking he wanted out. Honestly, if he's the only death we get, this whole thing will have been pointless, IMO.
