Isn't it funny how all that was just conveniently dropped?!? 😒 This show is so ridiculous in its plot point writing!

I didn't see the show today but read the live thread on another soap board, and I must say I am proud of Cameron for standing up to his bully of a girlfriend. Josslyn makes me sick. She is so obnoxious and annoying. I am not sure why Cameron is even w/her. Just b/c she hates Spencer doesn't mean Cameron has to feel the same. He is allowed to have his own opinions and thoughts, Josslyn. He's not your parrot though it's clear you would love him to be just that. I just don't see how these two will last if Cameron isn't allowed to have independent thoughts. Josslyn is way too cultish in her thinking and ways. Anyway, I will go back and watch b/c I want to see Cameron stand up for himself . . . . at least for a little bit!

I agree with this 100%. Lucy did nothing wrong. Buck was flirting w/her. She flirted back. She made a move on him. What's the problem w/that? She didn't know he had a girlfriend. Lucy is definitely not ruined for me. I'm not sure why Buck's cheating has hurt Lucy when Lucy didn't even know he had a girlfriend.

Right?!!! It is all so overly dramatic and stupid! “Well, your bio mommy came to town to ruin Grandma Carly’s life . . . . “ Come on!!! Why would they even say anything beyond she passed away. That’s all they have to say. The writers treat the audience like morons! I wish soap writing would mature and get with the times!

Granted, I’m not a grandmother, but what is with this idea that Nina is not genuine about wanting to see Wiley unless she wants to spend every waking moment with him?!? I don’t get that, and I see this argument on other forums too. Are grandparents not supposed to have lives?! Are they supposed to want to see their grandchildren 24/7, esp young grandparents like Nina?!? Nina was told she could go visit that brat. She did. Her friend was dying - which trumps seeing a healthy grandson she could presumably see later - so she left. What’s the problem? Why is that an issue? How does that speak to her wanting to see the kid? She got what she wanted, which was to visit with the kid. Nina doesn’t want custody. She just wants to be able to visit from time-to-time. And with them allowing that visit, Nina probably thought she could visit another time with no issue. IMO, Nina wants to see Wiley in a reasonable way. She’s not trying to visit every single day and spend all day with him, which is normal to me. Her leaving to visit a DYING friend does not call into question the sincerity of her request for visits. It’s crazy to think it does. Visit my grandson who I can presumably see later or visit my dying friend?!? That’s not even a question for me. I’m visiting my dying friend. I’ll see the kid later. I also strongly agree with those who feel Millow has no legitimate reason why Nina cannot visit. It’s all been stated really well, but I do not think either actually think Nina would harm Wiley. They just hate Nina for personal reasons - none of which have to do with Wiley. They are selfish, and I hope they lose in court but knowing this show, they won’t. 🙄

That's what I think. Honestly, I thought she should have killed him last week when they were on the docks. If she was going to shoot him today . . . good for her! He deserves it! LOL!

This entire arc only works if you buy into the narrative that Nina's mere presence would cause Wiley harm. I don't, and I never did. Heck, I think Nelle could have seen the brat too. That said, some viewers have definitely drunk that particular flavor of Kool-Aid and believe Nina is not good for Wiley in any way, shape, or form. One . . . . I couldn't care less about Wiley. The kid could die for all I care. And two . . . even if I did care about him, I still wouldn't have an issue w/Nina seeing him. She's not going to do anything to hurt that stupid kid. The idea that she would is ridiculous. Nina tried to arrange for supervised visits (I haven't seen today's episode but she tried before), and they still shot her down. Millow and Carly couldn't care less about Wiley and what he needs. They only care about themselves, which is why I hope Nina wins. I hope she get unsupervised weekend visits! That would serve Millow and Carly right!! And I'm talking about the entire weekend - Friday to Sunday! LOL! That would make my day! That said, if this is being done just so Millow can win again like they did w/Nelle, I'd rather skip it entirely. Do something interesting or don't waste the viewers' time.

Have you ever had ZERO interest in watching a particular story play out? Just seeing it makes you roll your eyes and reach for the FF/mute button?!? That’s where I am with Esme. Maybe it’s because Peter was drawn out for years or maybe it’s because I like Nava and Trina and just don’t want Esme messing with them. Maybe I’m disappointed with the trajectory of her character b/c she had such potential. Maybe it's the dumbing down of the characters around Esme. I don’t know. I like AP but I’m not at all interested in Esme and her shenanigans. I just don’t want to see any of that. I will definitely be FFing/muting all of this story. Wake me when it’s over! I’m biased when it comes to Brad because I love him, but I thought Amy was ridiculously unprofessional. The man was just standing there. He wasn’t doing anything, and she certainly had no right to call security. I loved Terry shutting her down. Amy can’t dictate who works at GH. Just do your job, Amy, and mind your business. I guess Lucas is still employed at GH. He and Austin must work the same shifts. LOL. Why won’t Chase just ask Brook Lynn out? Why are they dragging this out? Start them dating already! I missed most of the Liz/Laura stuff but I guess Liz is doing this stuff to herself, right? Who is she not supposed to forget? Her dad?

^^^^ Right?!?! And I'm still wondering how Trina didn't notice the phone she picked up was not hers. Even when she handed the phone to Jordan, did she not need to unlock it? Trina should have immediately known something was off even before her real phone pinged unless we're to believe Trina has no passcode/security for her own phone. And there has to be security cameras at Spring Ridge that caught Esme dropping the phone in Trina's unattended bag.

So, I haven't watched all this week's episodes, but didn't Trina have two phones?!?! I know she left her bag unattended - something no woman would ever do ever - when she went to visit Spencer. Didn't Esme drop the other phone in her bag? I don't recall Esme switching the phones. Are we to believe Trina did not see two phones in her bag? If she was arrested, they didn't catalog her stuff and see she has TWO phones?! Jordan didn't ask her about the second phone in her possession? Did Jordan need to ask Trina for access to the phone? There was no fingerprint or code to open it up? All phones have some security. No one thought it was weird that it just opened up. Before this trial, is the defense gonna be permitted to have their expert look at the evidence? As someone mentioned, unless Esme cloned the phone, wouldn't it be clear it's not Trina's phone. And why would Trina keep the phone in her possession once the deed was done? If her actual phone was discovered, we're to believe she went through the trouble of getting a burner phone to record her friends potential sexcapades but then didn't ditch the phone once she posted the video? This plot is beyond lame! For me, it's up there w/Jordan accusing Griffin of murdering Kiki. He used his own knife, left a ton of blood in his apt, and then dragged her body to the HS - why? Why would he do that, Jordan? Why go the trouble of moving the body if you don't also clean up your apt? Ugh . . . I cannot wait until this plot is over. I'm w/those who are just not entertained by Esme. It's a shame too b/c I like the actress and thought the character could have been a great "bad" girl to add to the show. Now, I just can't wait until she's gone.

That can definitely happen at a prosecutor's office. They throw you right in. There's no waiting period. I could see it happening at a small firm too or a non-profit. It really depends how much hand holding you get. I was thrown in . . . . sort of. Someone was in the courtroom, but I was up there by myself, doing it on my own for the most part.

Right?!?! What was the point of the FBs if Spencer was just going to believe Trina did it? The FBs indicated he did NOT think that. I just can't w/the inconsistent writing. And I hate characters being made stupid (Nikolas and Spencer) so others can get away w/dirt (Esme). I didn't see the entire show today. I haven't watched a full show in weeks, but I loved Trina telling off Spencer! I was so happy when she told him to get out and that he had ruined her life. He pretty much has. Knowing him has caused her nothing but problems through no fault of her own. I was on the Sprina train, but I don't know now. I'm a sucker for good chemistry, but I'm think I'm done w/him. Trina deserves better! Loved every minute (of what I saw) of Sonny today. Hate that they've made Nikolas AND Spencer stupid for Esme. I enjoyed Nelle, but I don't find myself liking Esme. The actress is great but there's just something about this story that turns me off. I don't want to see this play out for months or even weeks. I'm not invested in Ryan so connecting her to him is a fail in my book. We still don't know the long game she's playing. Why even do what she did to Caoss? How did that further her goals? If she only wants Spencer to associate w/her, then she's nuts and not long for this show. I like the actress and didn't hate the character but this was not the right path for her. @YaddaYadda - I noticed that cop too! He was attractive!! Maybe he's young,18-20! Trina gave him a look too! LOL! @Daisy - Spencer had the nerve to actually accuse Trina of the sex tape. He actually believes she did it! Trina deserves better!

GH does this a lot! I hate it. They drag stuff out for so long that the story/plot loses all momentum, and no one cares anymore by the time they do reveal it! We are just now (somewhat) getting to Esme's purpose/plan, and she's been on for nearly a year! And it still hasn't been fully revealed! I expect Hatman to drag out telling Curtis the truth for another 6 months before all is revealed! GH really needs to do better!

Thanks for the write-up @Daisy!! I appreciate you taking the hit and watching the show for some of us! LOL! My interest in GH pretty much deflated the week before last or early last week. I haven't been watching the past few days even though I still WFH, and it doesn't seem like I'm missing too much. GH is pretty boring right now, IMO. ETA: Oh, and Hatman can shut up!! TJ used to lived w/Sonny. If Hatman cared, he should have been around!

I hear you and couldn't agree more! I liked that Brad was a lab tech and that Willow was a teacher actually. It's nice to see different careers, and different medical careers other than doctor/nurse would be cool to see too! Sadly, GH has no imagination! As far as Piph is concerned - I don't think she should let her age stop her from going to medical school if that is what she really wants to do. I hear you about NPs and think that would be a good altn to discuss on the show. They could have her talking about it but decide she really wants to be a doctor b/c that's what she always wanted to be.

I have no issue w/Epiphany becoming a doctor. Why not? Everyone else just falls into careers on this show so why not Piph? I also think it would be cool for her to be an NP too. I didn't know what that was before, and GH could bring attn to that career for those like me but I'm sure GH doesn't know about NPs either!

Her last date was yesterday - Thursday, March 17. At least that is what was first reported. I hear Sean was on today, and I thought his last day was a couple of weeks ago!

I thought LW and RoHo had great chemistry as Tarly and Cranco.

Grandparents' rights depend on the state. In my jurisdiction, grandparents have no right to sue for visitation w/their grandchildren. I prefer it that way. However, for purposes of this show, I hope Nina sues and gets unsupervised weekly visits. That would be hilarious and would make Millow (and Carly) miserable thereby making me happy! LOL!

I guess. And there is Ryan and his plan. I'm more asking about Spencer. He just graduated high school. Emse is presumably planning her whole life around him. I'm surprised he's not more put off or concerned. Does he want to tie himself to her for life? Did he think she would come and eventually leave or find someone else to leech off of? Is he just having some fun? I just don't have a good understanding of their relationship or dynamic or what Spencer wants. It's not clear.

I hate to sound like a broken record but today's conversation btw Spencer and Esme just highlighted how poorly I think this story has been written. It's obvious Esme did this, and I'm not sure why Spencer doesn't just know this. I didn't see the entire show today, but it would be more interesting if she confessed or if Spencer called her out on it and stuck to his guns. I don't know. I'm also still not getting why he likes her soooo much. I think we got some backstory but not enough, IMO. And she said today she is only in PC b/c of Spencer. Why? Did he tell her he would marry her or something? Are they that invested in each other at the ripe old age of 19?!?! And w/all the mentions of Liz's parents and Jake crossed off the list - unless they make it Aiden - I think the "Liz has DID" theory might be right, and that would be awful! I truly and sincerely hope they have something better planned than giving Liz DID out of literally nowhere. Heck, do a supernatural story where Franco's ghost has to be exorcised from the house. LOL! I don't care. Just no DID. And I really agree w/everyone's comments about CM. He is really being wasted. It's a shame. I like Drew, and his version had potential but ever since returning to PC, that potential has been draining w/each appearance he makes. It's not CM's fault but Drew is flatlining as a character at this point.

Oh, I agree. I was talking about before Nixon Falls. In my opinion, prior to NF, Carly had no legitimate reason to be angry w/Nina. None at all. Nina hadn't done anything to Carly and hadn't done anything wrong. Nina wishing she had been able to raise her daughter or thinking Nelle possibly wasn't the scum of the earth aren't horrible crimes! As you said, it was natural for Nina to wonder "what if" when it came to Nelle; Carly would have done the same! Long before NF, Carly had declared that Nina would never be in Wiley's life. There was no legitimate reason for Carly to feel that way.

I could be wrong but I honestly don't think she would say anything about those losers if she had time w/her grandchild. It seems - to me - she just wants to see her grandchild. Millowtonin are the ones blowing it out of proportion. They act like that brat is sooo precious and such a delicate flower. My goodness! It's sickening and obnoxious! "Wiley, Wiley, Wiley." SHUT UP! lol @Daisy - I couldn't agree more w/your entire post! If we take it all the way back - Carly only hates Nina b/c Nina learned Nelle was her daughter! That's it! Nina never actually did anything to Carly except learn the truth! Oh, and Nina had the nerve to reflect and think she possibly could have been a positive influence in Nelle's life had she raised her. That's Nina's huge crime - wishing she had raised her daughter and no longer wanting to speak ill of her. That's why I can never be on Carly's side b/c her anger toward Nina never made any freaking sense. The woman didn't do anything except learn she had a daughter and express some regrets! And as you pointed out, Michael - like all Corinthii - wanted to ERASE Nelle from history and replace her w/Willow as Wiley's mother, and Nina is a reminder that he cannot do that! There was no other reason - at the time - for his OTT anger and hatred of Nina! IIRC, Nina simply told Wiley she was NOT Willow's mother. From there, genius 2-year old Wiley deduced that Willow was not his biological mother. Ok!🙄 All the drama surrounding this kid has been so illogical, OTT, and crazy. I'm over it. I don't care about Wiley. Nothing bad will happen to stupid Wiley if Nina visits him. It's all so lame. They need some better drama than this. This story only works if you buy into the idea that Nina is dangerous for that brat, and I don't. I never did.

I wasn't really paying attn to today's episode but CM's Drew is everyone's friend. Today, he was chatting up Liz and lending her a shoulder/ear. Tomorrow, he's back w/his "bestie" Carly (ugh). He's been seen w/practically everyone at this point, right? He cares about and likes everyone! I never watched AMC, but I do love a good Hallmark Christmas movie. LOL! I don't mind CM. He's a good actor, and I thought I was going to enjoy his Drew but . . . . . there's just something about his version that's not gelling w/me. I loved BM's Drew, and CM just has Drew's name. He doesn't feel like Drew. It's weird. There also doesn't seem to be any point to Drew. He just floats around and supports/likes everyone. ETA: As a fan who has supported Sonny when it comes to this NF thing, I do wish the dialogue was better. Sonny should have told Michael that he never asked Michael to get justice for him, and that Michael should have listened to him instead of running off to do what he wanted. The man told them from the beginning he just wanted to move on w/his life! They just ignored him and got upset b/c he didn't do what THEY wanted but claim to care about him! Ugh! Michael is such an insufferable brat. His huffing and puffing about Nina is annoying at this point. Get over it, Michael. No one cares. My personal feelings on grandparents' rights' aside - for purposes of this show, I hope Nina sues and gets them! I want a judge to order them to hand Wiley over every weekend for unsupervised visitation. It would serve those brats right. I'm so sick of them acting like Wiley seeing Nina would be so horrible for him. She is not going to do anything to hurt that brat!

On the British soap, Eastenders, they managed to redeem an abuser. He abused his young nephew and became a regular on the show. He stopped the abuse of course. LOL! This had to be the late 90s/early 2000s. I haven't seen Eastenders in years so I'm not sure how if it would go down the same nowadays. I do think soaps were a bit more gutsy then and created more three-dimensional characters. Anyway, I agree w/those who don't think Esme will be redeemed. I just can tell she is not long for this soap world. For this show and its current audience, Esme has already gone too far for their taste. Some were done w/her when she torched Ava's car. Now, they are really done w/her b/c of the sex tape. IMO, if she hadn't been tied to whacky Ryan, she might be able to be redeemed but she has been. She seems fully on board w/Ryan and his plans, so I'm just waiting for her to "die" at this point. There is no middle ground w/her or nuance. It sucks b/c I like the actress and think she (and Spencer) were just what the teen group needed. But they have taken her too far just like they did w/Nelle. I loved Nelle, but they took it a step too far for her too - not for me personally but definitely for the larger audience. On another board, most of the members hated Dev for stealing Joss's diary. I was like, "who cares," but I was rare! People acted like he was the devil! LOL! If he had to go, then Esme surely will too! As I said yesterday, I am mostly disappointed w/the direction of her character b/c I can see it's toward a dead end. I liked Esme and wanted her to stick around but I can't see that happening now. I'm not interested in her seducing Nikolas or accusing him of rape or whatever game she will play. The show needs some more creative writers. We just saw similar stuff play out. Who wants to watch it again w/new players? Not me.
