  1. I thought Tamar looked absolutely horrendous and beyond sick in her last talking head of the final episode. It seems she lost a lot of weight in her face, her eyes were totally wonky, (she barely glanced at the camera) and she was scary looking and almost unrecognizable. I realize some time has passed since the interview was filmed, and I hope she is in better mental and physical condition now, but the person I saw looking at me through the camera lens was someone who needed a LOT of help. I felt awful for her. Was that final interview filmed after her suicide attempt?
  2. I think Goldi is a snake oil salesman and David knows it. Not saying he’s perfect but he’s right about Dream Lady.
  3. Years ago... Heather Locklear was married to Ritchie Sambora. At the time, Heather and Denise were friends. Eventually, Ritchie and Heather divorced. Later, Denise and Ritchie began dating. People called out Denise, although she had nothing to do with the break up, because she never should have dated her friend's former husband.
  4. Andy IS one of those bitches. He was practically foaming at the mouth.
  5. Do you think Ian’s current spoiled brat routine is strategy? If so, it’s clearly not working. If it’s not a poorly conceived plan of persuasion, I’m embarrassed for him. In retrospect, I bet they wish they would have blindsided him tomorrow.
  6. First time ever watching this show but I did see AV on the show Best on the Block so I was a bit familiar with her personality and design aesthetic. Meh. I hate that she chose to paint the beautiful exterior bricks black. I thought the front door was beyond hideous. Painting the niche and antique chest black was also a terrible mistake. (I didn’t necessarily like the chest painted or not...to be honest.) This woman has a thing for the color black! The overall feel to this completed home is.... blah blah blah. Monotone. I wasn’t overly impressed with anything about it except the beautiful closet doors. Every room felt exactly the same. I realize rooms within a house should flow but this was ridiculous. Have all her designs looked like this?
  7. There wasn't much of anything I liked about the outcome of this small house. Simply awful....especially the outside. Ugly. I love darling little Jack. What a fabulous personality! He will make a perfect big brother.
  8. Wow! Kristen and Stephen. Good for them, if true. I always loved that guy.
  9. The placement of the pavers looked ridiculous. The hanging bed was impractical. One of these days, someone on that demolition crew is going to be seriously injured. Too much playing to the cameras. Hated the two vertical pieces of treated lumber holding up the porch roof. The living room floor turned out nicely. My DVR cut off early. I heard they didn’t sell the house to the woman and her little girl, but did they sell it at all? If so, for how much?
  10. Just finished watching the finale and haven’t read this thread yet. As far as I’m concerned Jenny should have won the entire million dollar purse. SHE finished first.....well before Bananas. If production wanted a “winner take all” season, they should have gone all the way with it. I was disappointed that 75% of the winner hoopla shown at the end of the episode focused on Bananas who, in essence, finished second. Let me add: I’m not a Jenny or Bananas fan.
  11. I agree with you but hope we are both wrong.
  12. Denise would have been much better off without any of her husband’s input at these gatherings. Last season, she seemed to be a person who could MORE than hold her own in any argument or discussion we were shown....albeit she wasn’t the focal point of any. What happened to her? Could it be she was still suffering the after effects from her surgery? Did she not have any f**ks to give? I’m trying to figure out which person Denise truly is. The strong and confident woman from last season or the dependent wife who leans on her husband to fight her battles? I’m totally on Denise’s side in this repetitive battle. However, I’d love to see her dig down and blast them to their faces. Instead, she’s continuously retreating. Something is....off. Denise’s daughter absolutely knew the difference between the gas pedal and the brake. Her innocent act was ridiculous.
  13. I think the jail cell stairway was absolutely horrendous. So were those uglya$$ cat stairs. What were they thinking? Not convinced the couple loved either of those design decisions. I would never ever hand over $100,000+ to anyone to design my home in order to be surprised in the end. Ridiculous!
  14. I cannot stand it when Danielle acts like a spoiled brat. That negative side of her personality came out so many times during this episode. Not an attractive look, Danielle. Cannot believe they’re already remodeling the kitchen. They must have a lot of disposable income (“swipe up” money) or just added thousands to their debt.
  15. You, are me. That backsplash reminded me of bed’s headboard made of stone. Ugly and impractical. I did like the changes they made to the house....especially the outside. The original door placement was very odd. I would have sold it immediately.
  16. Unfortunately, I don’t have many positive comments about the final result of this refurbished home except I think the updated outdoor facade was quite lovely. The first impression narrow site line, upon walking into the home, was unexpected and jarring. As many of you have said, it was more of a hallway than anything else I can think of. Simply awful. It seems Mina sacrificed actual living space for sleeping areas. I despised the chandeliers as they are not my taste but I do appreciate why others could love this style. The living room and dining areas were pathetic and would never be super comfortable for a family of more than two people....if that. I liked the dark kitchen cabinet paint choice but the backsplash simply didn’t blend with anything else in the room. The drawer pulls aren’t my favorites for the same reason I didn’t like the chandeliers. IMO, Mina lost her spark while laying out the floorplan along with choosing finishes on this project. It was I mish mash of ideas that probably came together during a stressful time in her life...which I completely understand. Karen’s distressed wallpaper idea was a disaster. Really horrendous! Also, the overall final “dressing” of the home was overdone. Claptrap everywhere. It seemed the son of the previous owners, and his wife, were more shocked (not in a good way) than happily surprised by the final result. The look on his wife’s face spoke volumes. I hope Karen is happy and healthy. Something seemed a tad off with her during this episode. She seems to have lost some weight, which is usually a positive thing, but I hope her health isn’t the reason she’s going to be stepping back this season.
  17. Peri Menopause Edited to add: Just found out she is 51 years old. It is full on menopause.
  18. I really wanted Wes to beat Johnny. Bummed.
  19. Probably because these women are expected to put on some sort of show for the cameras each time they ALL get together.......which I don’t believe is more than once or twice a month, while filming a season.. Having a delightful evening get together isn’t what production expects nor how the women are paid to act. Controversy drives the season forward.
  20. I just completed the 2020 Census online. Along with the race question, you are asked how you define, see, or describe yourself ( don’t recall the exact wording). Ethnicity may have been the word used. In your husband’s case, Mexican would be the answer.
  21. True. However, the producers don’t care WHAT is said or done during the Twitter phase of the show or which cast member is attacked. They just want there to BE a Twitter phase of each episode. (I described it as Act 2 of each episode.) Again, the point of my recent posts is to say that, in the end, this is a tv show, they all play a role, and are acting.
  22. Yes. That’s what I mean. She is seeing them now and reacting to them now.... weeks or months AFTER filming the episode.
  23. Pretending to be as asshole or actually being an asshole isn’t the point. There wouldn’t be a tv show if they all sat around and happily interacted episode after episode. They know, and accept, stirring up trouble for one another is the true premise of the show. Over the years, some cast members handle it better than others. She (or any of them) doesn’t see the responses to her actions, on her Twitter account, weeks or months after filming ends. Then, the Twitter universe becomes Act 2 of each episode. It’s how the entire franchise works. Kudos to them. Very successful television show(s).
  24. I just watched the latest episode. First and foremost, this is a television show and ALL of these women are ACTING. It’s one of the ways they make a living and stay relevant. This is not news to me but when I find myself forming opinions or siding with one woman or “storyline” over another, I need to reel myself in. I believe they laugh themselves silly when the director yells cut. They will say and do a LOT for ratings.
