  1. Her lying to and being borderline hostile to Trina continues that trajectory. So does later yelling at the ADA who is the grieving mother, in front of a police witness. TJ, when Molly can't wait to get away from you the day after your baby dies and her sister almost dies, perhaps a moment of self-reflection is in order. Pressuring her about a funeral and being with his fam to get rid of all the nursery stuff immediately is so cruel. TJ, you are an idiot, but not for the reason(s) you gave your fam. As always, Aunt Stella is an all star. My mouth dropped open when Molly started reading Ava the baby's autopsy report to hold her accountable. KV continues to rock her scenes. The look on Molly's face when Ava hissed at her and blamed Kristina for the baby's death ... wow. Jordan is a total be-yotch. Good to see Elizabeth being a great nurse instead of worrying over Finn! :)
  2. Excellent point. This Show has been heavily focused on three weak, pathetic, very limited characters for a long time now. And it's sad that characters with such rich histories as Bobbie, Laura, and most recently Anna, have been used to prop Sonny in particular. When a show has to have characters re-emphasizing that Sonny loves his kids in order to push his value, there's a real problem. Loving your kids makes you a basic human, not a decent person. Whatever shreds of decency that existed in Sonny, died not long after Stone did - when Sonny decided to use/hire a brain damaged young man, knowing what he meant to Robin and what she had already lost. Fast forward several decades, and the now middle-aged man who lives to serve Sonny and his on-again, off-again wife shows sparks of decency from time to time but only having to do with Elizabeth. Kristina barely survives a terrible accident and loses the baby. Molly stops Kristina's father from seeing her and tells some truths to his face. Instead of going to the chapel to pray for his daughter, he goes off to the roof to have a pity party. Kristina's former stepmother, who has known her since she was a baby, finds out about what happened and does ... absolutely nothing. Doesn't even occur to call her son, Kristina's brother? Jason's worried Sonny's desire for revenge will make thing worse so he wants to be sure the police hold on to Ava instead. Oh what a hero. Geee I wonder why the Show is struggling with its audience. I guess the silver living is not seeing CD's two expressions in the family scenes at the hospital, and no sign of TJ's Hat Grandpa or Uncle Curtis with them either.
  3. Aunt Stella is in that scene, so it makes me wonder if he's having a tantrum because she advises him to be a strong partner for Molly at this time, or something like that. I agree with you about no grace. He's not wrong for wanting a name for the baby and the desire to say goodbye with a funeral/memorial service, but this was soooo not the time and place for it. His utter indifference to Molly's pain about and fear for her sister's condition is sickening. I don't understand Jordan's behavior either, unless deep down she truly has never cared for Molly as her son's significant other. I recall that Jordan (a previous actress) was not enthusiastic years ago about the idea of TJ marrying Molly and was unsure about them bringing bi-racial children into the world. Stella addressed that with her. But maybe it didn't stick? I almost expected Jordan to say that now that Kristina doesn't have a baby for my son, does it really matter if she survives?
  4. It's a hotel room (not a private residence) overlooking a public area and Ava chose to have the window's drapes open, so I wonder if it's not a clear-cut case of invasion of privacy. When Trina came to Ava's room and saw Jagger however many hours before the Ava/Kristina argument, did she see his luggage by the window? I'm wondering if Ava can be charged with tampering with a crime scene as well. Ava also lied to her attorney Scott's face that she never touched Kristina.
  5. It makes me laugh in a WTF kinda way that Carly's own daughter was the lifeguard on duty when the accident happened and the victim is Carly's former stepdaughter, yet instead of immediately calling Mom from the hospital or just showing up to tell Mom what happened, her first priority after talking to Kristina's parents is to go cry to and have sex with her police officer boyfriend. Josslyn gets attacked by the Hook killer, her savior gets poisoned saving her life, tells her to run, and her reaction is that she wants to have sex with this guy she barely knows immediately, without first breaking up with her boyfriend who has been her close friend since childhood. Josslyn participates in saving her ex- stepsister's life, cries what if her and the baby aren't okay, and then wants sex immediately with her now-boyfriend rather than give her boss/mother a heads up that a major incident has occurred at her place of business. I swear she needs a mental health evaluation as much if not more so than Sonny does.
  6. Molly is standing there almost frozen with fear that her sister has so much internal bleeding, while the so-called love of her life and his mother reassure her that her sister is in good hands in tones that practically scream (IMO) it won't be any real loss if she doesn't make it. The only great moment is Carly being horrified and incredulous that Kristina had an accident at her hotel, she's the last to know, and when she finds outs it's from Jason because Dante called him. Great professional staff you've got there, Carls! It really says something about Jordan that queen of self-absorption Carly shows more emotion over Kristina's accident and loss of baby than the baby's own grandmother. I liked Sam's reaction to Alexis telling her that Blaze is not in the hospital and it's because her mommy thought she needed space. Alll the kudos to NLG, KV, and KM. Alexis and Molly both crying over Kristina and Kristina sobbing I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry to her sister made me tear up. Brick's last photo where Ava lost her grip on Kristina as she slipped does actually make it look like Ava's hand pushed her toward the window.
  7. Deadline is reporting that JJ will be appear on-screen as Lucky in late August? Does that sound accurate to you all?
  8. It's a really awkward time to bring up that storyline now, though. Sam and Sonny had an affair while he was married to Kristina's stepmother, resulting in that stillborn child. That stillborn child who saved Kristina's life was Kristina's baby sister and niece as well as Molly's baby sister and cousin; Alexis's first grandchild. Bringing up the loss would be a reminder to anyone present as well as the audience that Sonny had daughters with a mother and daughter. Not to mention that Sam would get to remember with Sonny their loss, at a time when she is living with/sleeping with his son. In Kristina's terrible state of trauma and Molly's sorrow, I don't think it would be comforting to them to be reminded that dad/Uncle Sonny slept with our big sister when we were kids and so both dad/Uncle Sonny and Sam totally understand our pain. This Show does NOT need yet more focus on Sonny's history of man pain and more reminders of Sam's many poor choices. Can you imagine Kristina telling a therapist that in addition to the recent trauma she experienced, she was forced to remember/realize that her big sister has been sexually involved with "my dad, my Uncle Ric, and is now sleeping with my big brother. Actually, my dad and my sister had a baby, but she died the same way my baby girl that I had for my sister, died." Therapist: Your sessions are free.
  9. Same here, although I think in this case it's part accident/ mostly Ava's fault whereas in the AJ/Carly incident on the Q stairs, it was mostly Carly's fault. SB's Carly wanted to taunt AJ about being engaged to Sonny. She was in his home, was mouthing off and shoved her diamond ring in his face. He grabbed her wrist, she yanked it away, then fell. Here, Kristina went to Ava's suite at the Metrocourt because Ava was trying to force her to testify against Sonny. Molly was correct in saying that the Sonny-Ava war, instigated by Sonny's vile nature and desire to take Avery from Ava, is what caused this tragedy. Ava deliberately said awful/hurtful things about Kristina's mother to her face knowing quite well (after two pregnancies of her own) a woman should not have her blood pressure spike at that stage of pregnancy. Then she grabbed Kristina in what looked to me like an angry, aggressive manner to emphasize "I'm going to have my way no matter what." In my world, taunting and putting your hands on a very pregnant woman is really disgusting. MW's acting convinced me that Ava does not care one iota about Kristina's well-being or the baby's. She blames Kristina for Sonny kicking her out of his place. If Ava herself genuinely believed this was just a terrible accident, she wouldn't be acting this way. I can't imagine she would blame the victim this way if say, Trina had been pregnant and they argued and she fell out the window. ETA: Full disclosure, the past few episodes are a little personal to me. A few years ago, my cousin was pregnant and the docs/med staff treating her had some concerns along the way. While she was in the hospital due to a concern more than a month before her due date, she had a placental abruption. They team got her into the OR quickly and performed an emergency C-section. Thank God her baby girl lived, developed well, and will soon be starting kindergarten. My heart broke for Kristina when she was in the ambulance, asking if her baby was okay. TJ's treatment of her all this time and his attitude now, I just find appalling.
  10. The reason I don't give TJ a pass is because Alexis said recently Molly and TJ have been together for 10 years. TJ wanted to marry Molly and supposedly considers her the great love of his life. He's holding Molly as she cries over this family loss, and doesn't even shed a tear over seeing her cry? That just strikes me as sick/gross. Agree! Plus, I know what Sonny 'contemplating suicide' is a set-up for. Hard pass, thanks. Kristina didn't just trip and fall. Ava lashed out at Kristina verbally. Then she grabbed her in anger. Kristina tripped because she was trying to get Ava to let her go. Ava is lying to first Dante and then Chase that she would never touch Kristina and is totally innocent. There is no excuse for putting your hands on a very pregnant woman, IMO.
  11. I think Dante handled Jordan well. Asking if Ava's been arrested while showing zero compassion for his family and not a tear shed over the loss of a baby is really something. The way she said "won't bring my granddaughter back" was just so ... cold. I've seen more emotion from people when their friend(s) or family have lost a pet. But maybe that's to be expected of someone who's never spent time around the surrogate? I just don't know Molly was right to blame Sonny, but maybe some of her anger was that "Uncle Sonny" clearly does not care that a baby intended for her and her partner is dead. The baby is Sonny's biological grandchild, but he was not going to be a grandfather to it so whether the baby lives or dies is not relevant in his life. He only cares that Kristina survives and hopes she can be manipulated into loyalty for the rest of her life. Regardless, Molly was correct. This traumatic event is rooted in Sonny wanting to use little Avery to hurt/punish/get revenge on Ava for multiple reasons and Ava wanting to use Kristina to strike back at Sonny, and play keep-away with Avery. So gross! When he went up to the roof feeling sorry for himself and contemplating suicide, I thought oh, how typical you coward. His daughter has just been through a horrific trauma and does not need to deal with more emotional trauma, but all he can think about is 'everyone is against me, poor, poor me.'
  12. Hmmm. Molly lives for her passion for the law. I'm wondering if she calls on her dad to take Sonny and/or Ava to court for whatever financial contributions they've made to Kristina's medical bills regarding the surrogacy and wrongful death of the baby. Ric used to be obsessed with how awful a person Sonny is/was. I think she may also just generally want Dad's help to take down Uncle Sonny after this, for being a vile human.
  13. Wow, I give @GHScorpiosRule alll the kudos for calling it that GH would have the baby (girl) die. Kudos also to JS for Chase's incredulous face as Ava tried to paint herself as the victim of an out-of-control attacking 8 months pregnant woman. Good for Trina for telling the truth. Wow TJ, not even a tear? Just angry face, then blaming Kristina to his mother. Glad he's not going to be a father. I hope Molly leaves him. Not even a tear when he's holding her as she sobs. The Kristina-Molly sorrow scene, holding onto each other with love, was very well done. Natalia, your comparison is absurd. Nobody/entity "forced" her to be a bigot in the past and Blaze should NOT be praising her in this moment. Ughhh. No tears from Sonny, just quietly making it all about himself. KV was brilliant in Molly's performance of screaming at Sonny in front of her family (except Sam), TJ and Jordan why it's his fault that Kristina is so injured and "my daughter is dead because of you!" I loved that she refused to let him walk into Kristina's room. So gross that Joss's reaction to this horrible event was wanting to have sex with Dex. Like mother, like daughter (re: Carly and Sonny screwing in the back of the limo while taking their tween shot-in-head-son to a long-term care facility.) So, a temporary coma for Kristina? I hope Alexis puts both Sonny and Ava on blast for this!! KM and KV should both get Daytime Emmys IMO.
  14. Sure TJ can make demands of an unconscious/possibly comatose and then traumatized new mother, but it just makes him look like a monster. Sonny most definitely can scare him into backing off. I anticipate this being dragged out for a while, esp. considering a former cast member who played a family relative, is returning. TPTB of the Show think they're clever at virtue signaling and decent at diversity/inclusion, which is why I'll be shocked if either the baby dies or Kristina dies (plus no hints of actress KM leaving). There is much more drama to be gained if the baby lives. After Maxie gave birth, the baby Bailey Lu storyline got dragged out for at least 6 months; I think closer to a year by the time BLQ turned her over to Maxie. Also remember that literally the only reason that the elder Sonny and Carly had another child after Morgan died, is because MB asked to honor the memory of "Donna," a member of the behind-the-scenes GH family (I think she worked in hair & makeup?) he adored who passed away. This Show loves to add children and relatives who are related to Sonny for no good reason (MB's fan base doesn't count) - Avery, Donna, and Brando are just the examples from the last 10 years.
  15. He loves the idea/fantasy of a baby. But he has not once touched her stomach as the baby kicked, spent quality time around Kristina with Molly so the baby would recognize his voice, asked for sonograph pics, etc. i assume this baby survives, because I just don't see the Show killing off the first bi-racial child born in decades, who is the grandchild of Sonny after the Sonny/Sam baby died and Morgan was blown up. I also assume this will force TJ and Molly to back off on pressuring/forcing Kristina to give up her rights to the baby for quite a while. And no court would intervene on TJ's behalf with a severely injured, traumatized biological mother when there was no agreement in writing, ever.
  16. Yes!!! Honestly, I think Sam has had no use for Kristina since LA's Kristina told her some embarrassing truths about her relationship with Jason, in front of their mother and Molly. Most recently, she complained to Dante that Kristina was very pregnant and cranky (Kristina's hadn't said anything unpleasant to her sister) and then showed zero concern for Kristina when the audio file of Natalia trashing Kristina and Blaze was released. Dante knows, although he can't admit, that he's too good for Sam since she got offended that he was mad at her for committing a crime with Spinelli and telling him "no worries; we won't get caught". I feel like at this point, a judge would want to take custody of Avery away from both Sonny and Ava and award it to Dante and Sam. "Detective Falconeri is Mr. Corinthos' adult son, the girl's brother, and Ms. McCall is Ms. Jerome's adult niece, the girl's cousin. Their children are her family as well. Case dismissed."
  17. Absolutely, for both of them. Re Ava, she didn't leave the room and rush downstairs or call 9/11 to report that a pregnant woman fell from her window. She closed the curtains and Dante noted there was no sign of the curtains being yanked in an attempt by Kristina to save herself. She didn't even look at all upset about what she witnessed when Dante questioned her, just nervous about being accused. You've got to be cold hearted to react that way, when it's your only (surviving) child's own sister. She literally only cares about "beating" Sonny in court for possession of Avery.
  18. But TJ only cares about getting what he wants and isn't willing to hear anything about his own mistakes/bad choices. He's not a parent yet, certainly knows nothing about parenting and loving multiple children. It's easier to just berate Alexis. Actually, I hope Molly walks away from TJ after this too - baby or no baby.
  19. I decided to watch the end of today's episode, out of curiosity. So, Trina is the eyewitness who saw Ava close the curtains after Kristina fell? TJ is an asshole, only caring about the baby and not even a hint of concern for the so-called love of his life's sister, or mother as she's sobbing in worry over her daughter's condition. So Ava was counting on Dante being dumber than a box of rocks to believe her story as she blamed Kristina and showed no remorse for, or concern about, the pregnant victim? DZ was truly excellent in the scenes with MW. It's hard to decide who is worse, TJ or Ava. I hope Alexis is done with TJ after this.
  20. Ava was totally out of line to put her hands on a pregnant woman unless the woman was a) holding a weapon and threatening her or b) trying to kidnap her child.
  21. Ava is definitely guilty of hurting Kristina, out of selfishness and anger at Sonny. She was nasty to Kristina about both her parents because she was feeling vengeful (bad for blood pressure of a pregnant woman; Ava has been pregnant twice so she knows better than to do this) and then grabbed her arm. Kristina stepped back to get away from Ava grabbing her and that's how she got her foot/feet caught in John's bag. Kristina is Avery's big sister and the baby is also Avery's family, but Ava doesn't seem to care about that. This is definitely worse than the AJ/Carly moment on the Q stairs. Carly had shoved her fist with the diamond ring in AJ's face and he grabbed it. She yanked her arm away, and that's how she fell.
  22. So Leo and Violet, who both live in the Quartermaine mansion right now and I assume see Wylie on an almost daily basis, didn't get invited to his b-day party?! Geeeez, Michael and Willow. Have there been any specific mentions of Lucky Spencer yet?
  23. I thought she said she was gay during the interview. Did I miss Perez say it first? The gay label doesn't fit Kristina's life thus far. Even if you put aside the abusive relationship with Kiefer, LA's Kristina had a major crush on Ethan. Then the other actress who played Kristina was in a storyline where she married Connie's long-lost son. Then LA's Kristina went on a few dates with a guy, and she had the unhealthy affair with the female professor Parker who I think was still married at the time. During the cult storyline, she said her sexuality was fluid. As far as I know, Kristina was bi until this Blaze storyline where she is saying she is gay. It doesn't seem right that because closeted Blaze has thought of herself as gay, Kristina now has to be gay too. The storyline seems very rushed in that it went from an attraction to supposedly two women in love and committed in a matter of months, when they've had basically one real date, have not talked at all about the future and what they both want. For example, Blaze is clearly focused on being a musician and doesn't want to be a parent for the foreseeable future, while Kristina clearly wants to raise her baby and open her youth center.
  24. Thanks for the heads up. I think I've had enough of this show until JJ returns. I'm only interested in seeing Elizabeth and her kids with their fathers and Grandma Laura and Kevin, or Mac with his family as well as Dante and Chase. I would love to see Monica once more, hosting a dinner featuring her children and grandchildren as well as Elizabeth and Aiden to celebrate Jake's acceptance into art school in Barcelona ... but I highly doubt LC and HW will ever be scene partners.
  25. I agree about Danny. I think he took a significant step in that direction, which is why he threw the phone when Jason offered the half assed good-bye and then abruptly hung up on him. I bet that's the first time Jason has said ILY to either of his sons? Jake knows he can't rely on Jason. He called Jason once, when he was worried about his mother in a difficult situation. They went to one baseball game together and he had one more brief, awkward conversation as Jake's looking forward to studying in Barcelona. Jake yearns to be an artist rather than see Jason as a role model, thankfully. He's not the one sneaking into Jason's room, desperate for fatherly attention and acting like Jason making a few hours available for him (prior to John/Jagger's interruption) is the best thing ever.
