  1. Yeah I could buy Rick unattended for a week. Oh that last little baby, she was my favourite as she most resembled my own, and I always look away during that scene with Lizzy *shudder*
  2. I just saw the markings the Termites left on the trees after one of them clocks Bob on the head at the end of ep2. Totally not the same as the markings Morgan saw. It was pointed out in a screencap comparison that that marking matches a tattoo on the head of crazy Termite tormentor in the boxcar Glenn let out. So that group of big bads is still at large, because the markings Morgan saw were fresh. I wonder if it's... can't do spoiler tags on my phone but the main antagonists from the GN they just got rid of...maybe this is better in the comic thread. Hmmm.
  3. Ah yes, thanks kikismom. So he was unattended in the hospital for a month. Even with the ZA raging around him, stuck in that bed with no fluids or care at all seems dubious but....one must go with it.
  4. When Gareth said "Tyreese's good friend Martin" I actually laughed. That's some TWOP-levels of snarkiness right there. Gareth was a much more enjoyable antagonist than the Gov. Perhaps also because his time on the show was so brief. Do not RIP Gareth, you magnificent Starbucks manager bastard you.
  5. Yeah I assumed Rick was in the hospital for a month at most. Even that's kind of unbelievable but two months is just not happening, in my head canon. And she's Rick's daughter, in my world.
  6. Despite the fact this ep is Beth-centric (I am neither here nor there about her) I'm looking forward to this. We are scifi horror fans and with this hospital dystopia NWO setting it's going to be a creepy-as-hell little slice of medical scifi horror.
  7. All good ideas. Remember how when Shane was turning he had those flashes of zombie life? I always wondered what was going on there (I think Jim experienced it too) and was hoping marvelous Milton would shed some light on that but it just seems to have been dropped. They don't seem to be terribly interested in the "science" behind all this. The best we had was the CDC and that was Darabont's thing so I doubt we'll get any satisfactory explanations, Dr. Mullet notwithstanding.
  8. Yup. I remember calling total shenanigans on that scene. She straight up would've had alcohol poisoning.
  9. I think I read TPTB hand waved it away that as the ZA continues the zombies decompose and slow down and lose what few trace memories remained. But I think fresh zombies should still be shown to have some rudimentary skills instead of being utterly brain dead shambling pieces of meat (and they aren't technically 100% brain dead as Jenner illustrated).
  10. Oh geeze. Well we knew that was coming, not much new there. That reviewer is usually gushing, just more so than usual. The other main character at the end is Carol on the stretcher, I assume.
  11. Another prison *shudder* Ok, it might sound like a good idea if this were, err... reality?...hmm... but it's a teevee show, a visual medium, and audiences get bored! Gotta keep moving, new scenery, new sets, new red shirts, new fresh horrors! Ah Father Pee Pants. Someone (I'm sorry I can't remember who) suggested FPP himself carved that message into the clapboard. Sounds as likely as anything. Locked church: the reason it was so easy for the Starbucks nite crew to pop the lock and enter was that the Ricktator and his grimey crew wanted them to... they're crafty like that.
  12. Well yeah I did think that was Lori being all snobbish but I do think the prison is a total loss. It's even worse now; it had the huge breach in the back that Ty et al wandered through and with the Gov's tank having blasted the shit out of the front I wouldn't go back either. And I'm thankful for that because I was getting pretty sick of that set, to be honest.
  13. I totally just had this conversation play out in my head with the actors' voices and mannerisms and just laughed my freaking head off. Thanks for that!
  14. Yes nodorothyparker! Here we have the Atlanta Five left and bringing in one more for a compare and contrast would be interesting indeed. Will their savagery freak him out? Will he be the same or worse? He posted a grimey (no pun intended) AMC TWD approved photo of himself with the line "not dead" so it has to happen. Right? It would suck if it was a massive piece of trolling though.
  15. Welp if you were ever on TWOP you probably saw my rants about Darabont. It was about money and the Kirkman thing probably didn't help matters. Yes mandolin when Glenn mentioned Jim I was like "and the CDC! Mention the CDC! The CDC dammit!" So close... Ah NurseGiGi no need for shame, we watch old eps all the time!
  16. Yeah, the CDC thing has always bugged. Why does no one mention it? The only good reason I can come up with is that the audience is supposed to forget it. Kirkman very much disliked that storyline, isn't in the GN, it's not an arc he ever would have pursued if he'd had his way, precisely because of what we're discussing now. It messes with the Eugene/Abe/Rosita/Washington DC arc in a huge way. So, the answer is stop asking so many questions; better yet, forget all about it. The characters certainly have.
  17. Yeah there's tonnes of evidence for and against every possible pairing for Michonne. I prefer Rick. Some prefer Daryl. I don't think anyone is changing anyone's mind here. And that's cool. I just like being able to throw the ideas around and see what others think. Well damn. TPTB better not neuter Michonne in the name of some outdated, racist "impropriety".
  18. Jericho! What a bummer that one ended so soon and yet dreck like Under the Doom gets renewed.
  19. Kirkman assured anyone and everyone that this is not a coma dream. Of course, it's Kirkman, but I don't think he wants TWD tv show to go down in infamy the same way Dallas did with Bobby getting out of the shower.
  20. Pete Martell, I adore your post. Kikismom, I know you're right, when Rick said that, the light bulb went off and a fleet of ships launched at that moment. I just remember some other shipper posted some images and the fence stare off really stood out. What also stood out at the time was how much of an asshole Rick was to her. I felt like it was over the top, like he doth protest too much --sticking his finger in the wound, I was like what the fuck, that was too much, even Merle in his Gov henchman total dick prime wouldn't have done that (well maybe but for Rick I thought it out of character).
  21. I think he was several weeks behind JackONeill. The screenshot comparison of the sign showed the mud faded, kudzu grown over, etc. What is freaky are the markings Morgan saw. They appeared freshly carved into the tree and matched the tattoo on the crazy guy's head (the one in the boxcar, original tormentor of the Termites). TPTB already said they'd be screwing with the time line this season.
  22. Well yeah but in the fantasia that is Richonneland, that is the genesis!
  23. Lol The Mighty Peanut. I too was sad over Andrea's death because they fucked that character up so bad I just thought, what a waste. Yes GreyBunny I think it's game over for dear Bethy. Wonder what Maggs will say: *tearfully* I thought she was dead *sob* Yeah. I think Tyreese shuffles off his mortal coil in the Wiltshire Estates eps in the first part of the backhalf.
  24. Now physical comfort? I don't think I've seen that. But Michonne has been shown to be very tender with Rick, caring, and that must have comforted him.
