  1. Why are none of the major Dems drawing attention to the coming Louisiana runoff? That seems so important and I've only heard about it from random people on twitter. I don't understand how the Dems act so stupidly so often instead of acting in their best interests.
  2. I had seen that. Rich coming from people who actually voted for their ridiculous outcome. An oldie but a goodie: https://twitter.com/SoVeryAwkward/status/802694445824999424

  4. And now others are concerned that Stein is scamming. Awesome: https://twitter.com/JoyAnnReid/status/801544024930877440
  5. So she needs funding support. Crowdfunding here we come?
  6. So....it looks like the Green Party has requested recounts in the controversial states: https://www.facebook.com/GregPalastInvestigates/posts/10154744416772128 I'm annoyed at how she handled all the pre-election stuff, but she's right that the Democratic party has not stepped up when it needs to here.
  7. Meanwhile, I saw this: "A friend called DOJ re:an audit of the election results. Person on the phone said it was unlikely bc the markets would go nuts." Nice to know it's all about the money still (:insert eyeroll here:). The markets will tank with trump as president anyway. They want nuts when he "won." The only one who will make any money off a trump presidency are the already rich and trump himself. I have similar thoughts as others regarding Hillary asking for a recount. And yet I still think she should. Things are shit the way they are now. So it will be a different kind of shit then. But at least I'd feel better knowing the world might still exist in 4 years. Also, if we want to remain a "democracy," we need to make sure our elections are legit. If we don't, there's nothing stopping this from happening in all future elections. 9. I'm headed out, but someone posted this website which summarizes the calls we should be making in one place: http://www.tellallyourfriends.org/

  11. I posted about that awhile ago. From what I read, it sounds like he's more concerned about doing it to punish the Russians, not to change anything on our end or hold trump accountable. Still something, though.
  12. https://twitter.com/LatishaOrtiz54/status/800794295515000832 Her sources and other information are further down the thread. Not the most legit of sources, but she seems to have done her research. Or maybe I've just been suspecting it so much like you and jumped on it. I saw this in the midst of growing horror over other articles I had read. But I think there's definitely enough out there to support a need for investigation. ETA: Also https://www.co.sauk.wi.us/sites/default/files/fileattachments/2016november_8_general_election_unofficialresults_breakdown_by_race.pdf You can see 31,838 votes cast, yet 34,323 presidential votes. Less numbers but other significant information in some of the other articles I posted like this one http://www.palmerreport.com/opinion/youre-not-just-imagining-it-the-hillary-clinton-vs-donald-trump-vote-totals-do-look-rigged/104/ http://m.dailykos.com/stories/2016/11/20/1602092/-HRC-Campaign-Please-challenge-the-vote-in-4-States-as-the-data-says-you-won-NC-PA-WI-FL and one more I closed out and can't find right now.

  14. This seems to have snuck by without much coverage http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/lgbt-workplace-discrimination-ndaa_us_573cd273e4b0aee7b8e8e176 And Trump is proposing getting rid of overtime pay. Hope no one here relies on that. Too bad for the 20 million who do. :-(
  15. More specifics related to why we need to challenge the vote: http://m.dailykos.com/stories/2016/11/20/1602092/-HRC-Campaign-Please-challenge-the-vote-in-4-States-as-the-data-says-you-won-NC-PA-WI-FL http://crooksandliars.com/2016/11/fair-election-serious-questions-arise - I hope they DO challenge. Not sure why they are just considering it.
  16. And the bottom of the paper addresses: voter roll purge, NVRA amendments, other voting law changes Homeland Security how? Ugh. AND CAN WE PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE VOTES??? New information: Outagamie County, WI - 4 precincts hv more votes for prez than ballots cast Hortonville, more votes than reg voters. 1paper precinct=HRC win If you live in these states, CALL and get people you know to call: Democrats up and down the ballot should demand an election audit in WI, MI, FL, NC & PA. Especially PA, which has a D gov. They are not.
  17. Glad people are discovering Leverage. I had recommended it on the original anxiety thread early on. Another very pretty man to look at pictures of is Matt Bomer. Women don't have a chance with him, plus he's married, but he's so pretty.
  18. I called my congressman about Clark's bill. I've been trying to call the DOJ to ask them to audit the vote, but it's been nonstop busy signals. Guess I will try an email just in case I never get through.
  19. I think Hallmark thinks it's made strides by casting diverse cast as the bosses in these movies. I'm noticing many of them are lately. But while that would be a great thing in real life, in movie-land, they're still stuck in the background as minor characters.
  20. You must love the whole otters holding hands thing, like in The Good Place. :)
  21. Next thing to call our representatives about, supporting HR 6340, the Presidential Accountability Act: https://twitter.com/RepKClark/status/799338097817296897 So spot on:
  22. Yes! Our own Dumbledore's Army. That article made me feel a bit better. What an awesome group of people.
