On Episode 10 of The Magicians, Tom Amandes played Daniel Quinn, the father of Alice Quinn. If you haven't watched the show, Alice is the blonde girl with glasses.

Maybe the identity of the new Black Canary will be a cliffhanger - we won't find out until S5 premieres in October. Not only would that give people something (else) to speculate about over the summer (like the grave mystery), but it would also give the EPs additional time to decide what to do. After all, they don't start shooting 501 until July (though they'd have to start writing the script months in advance). Then they would have several options: (1) make her Sara (or future Sara), (2) make her Madison McLaughlin's character, (3) make her a brand new character played by a new actress (yet to be cast) [raising the spectre of a dreaded love triangle in S5, unless she's moved to LoT], (4) make her a future Black Canary, or, less likely, (5) bring back KC as Laurel's BC.

I have a feeling that Alex dies or leaves in 420. The next episodes (421, 422, 423) were shot from March 17 to the present. According to Parker Young's twitter: he was crashing a wedding on March 19, playing with his dog on March 23, hanging out in Santa Monica on March 24, and competing in a charity triathlon in Miami on April 3. There's no indication that he's returned to Vancouver to film more Arrow. There's also this PY tweet from March 2: "Will somebody please tell daviddean11 to find me a job, cuz daddy needs a new swimsuit!
