Sometimes it's difficult to avoid seeing TV Fanatic articles when I'm searching for Arrow news - but man oh man, their writing is so biased that they even get the facts wrong. Their latest article includes Olicity among their "TV couples whose ships sunk" and says that Felicity couldn't get past the fact that Oliver had a child with another woman and was jealous, so that's why she broke up with him. Do they even watch the show? Felicity (in 4x15): "Just to be clear, I don't care that you have a child. I can't believe that you have a child that you didn't tell me about. What does it say about our relationship if your first instinct is to always hide the truth?" Felicity (in 4x08, before Barry time-traveled): "Just to be clear, I don't care that you have a child. I can't believe that you have a child that you didn't tell me about. I care that you lied to me just now."

There certainly are a lot of new guys being added to S5. But you know, as soon as they announce a new female character in her 20s-30s, we're going to be speculating about whether or not she's a new love interest for Oliver.

So it looks like there are three new male characters so far: Adrian Chase* (formerly, "James"), Star City's charming new D.A., to be played by Josh Segarra - regular role Wild Dog, the ex-marine turned reckless vigilante, to be played by Rick Gonzalez - recurring role "Anton Church", the ruthless crime lord, not yet cast - the S5 Big Bad? (* To add to the confusion, Adrian Chase's alter ego is known as The Vigilante in the comics.)

Josh Segarra has been described as a "29-year-old Puerto Rican heartthrob" (he just turned 30 on June 3) and is 6'0" tall. I have not found a twitter account for him, but here's a recent interview with him (regarding his current role of Emilio Estefan in On Your Feet on Broadway)... JB now has more comic cons scheduled in 2016 than any other Arrow actor (the following is based on info that I have to date, but we won't know for sure until 2016 ends)*... This pantomime will run from Dec. 19, 2016 to Jan. 29, 2017, so I wonder what this means (if anything) for JB's role on Arrow next season...

I read somewhere that The CW submitted Ciara Renee (Hawkgirl) as an Emmy nominee for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series - the only one out of the LoT cast submitted. Is this true or is it a joke?

The *eyeroll" wasn't directed at the GA/BC romance per se. I'm glad that fans of that relationship are getting what they want in the comics. It was directed at praising a romantic storyline in the comics, when Arrow gets criticism whenever it spotlights a romantic storyline on the tv show. Just be consistent - either you want or don't want romance in your superhero stories, whatever the medium.
