I just don't understand why Star City would put up a Black Canary statue. In The Dark Knight Rises, Batman As far as Star City knows, Black Canary was one of a group of vigilantes fighting crime in the city and who was killed by Damien Darhk. She didn't save the city from being obliterated by a nuke (Felicity and Curtis did). And she wasn't the only one killed by Darhk. Several city residents were also killed when they stood with the Green Arrow against Darhk and fought the Ghosts in the big climactic fight in 423. And if we're being realistic, Black Canary being revealed as ADA Laurel Lance should've led to a huge legal and ethical headache for Star City's D.A.'s Office and judicial system, in terms of convict appeals.
