  1. Interesting perspective (but I don't agree with everything said) - right now, the poll results are evenly split (50-50)... 'Arrow' Poll: Can Curtis Really Replace Felicity on Team Arrow? Tuesday, April 05, 2016 Derek Stauffer http://www.buddytv.com/articles/arrow/arrow-can-curtis-really-replac-59492.aspx

  3. Just a reminder - this TV Guide/TV Insider poll for TV"s Hottest Couple ends April 11 (Olicity is a nominee)... http://www.tvinsider.com/article/80656/poll-tvs-hottest-couple/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=tvi ETA: This poll has already closed even though it's not April 11.
  4. I think the key part of MG's comments is that this show is their version and their interpretation of the "Green Arrow mythos" and that they don't feel obligated to follow any one of the various comics versions of the Green Arrow story.
  5. A GB quote in an article about Shakespeare... 400 years after his death, William Shakespeare has kept his cool By Neal JustinAssociated Press Monday, April 4 2016 12:00 p.m. MDT http://www.deseretnews.com/article/765685423/400-years-after-his-death-William-Shakespeare-has-kept-his-cool.html?pg=all
  6. L.A. Times critic speculates on who's in the grave - he considers Curtis, Donna and Laurel to be long shots; instead, he believes the better bets are Quentin and Thea, and finally puts the bullseye on Diggle (no spoilers)... Who's in the box? Gambling odds on which 'Arrow' character buys the farm this week By James Queally APRIL 5, 2016, 11:21 AM http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/herocomplex/la-et-hc-arrow-whos-gonna-die-preview-20160401-snap-htmlstory.html
  7. From the IGN article (page 34 of Spoilers thread): Remember that TVLine interview from some time ago when WM said that Laurel will struggle with her dual identity as a secret vigilante (Black Canary) and being an ADA? (TVLine article, page 19 of Spoilers thread) What if part of the heartbreaking aspect of Laurel's death is that shortly before it happens, she has a talk with her father and decides that, for her father's sake, after she helps the team take down Darhk, she's going to give up being the Black Canary and focus on using her lawyer skills to fight crime? Maybe the job offer from the new mayor is being the city's chief legal counsel (City Attorney General).
  8. Probably for 422, which has shoot dates of March 30 - April 8. Also, I believe Donna is in 422, since she tweeted a pic of herself with EK on April 4.

  15. In that EW interview, MG mentioned that they didn't expect "the reaction to the grave to be as profound or as scintillating as it turned out to be" because they've killed off a character every season and therefore viewers should know that someone was likely to die in S4. MG added: "The big surprise would be, in season 5, if we didn’t kill anybody." Given the precedent, I wonder who will die in S5? Assuming Laurel is in the grave (yes, I still have a 1% doubt that the EPs will surprise us), I love or like all of the remaining cast members.
  16. I came across Dancing with the Stars (which I've watched off and on over the years) the other night -- and was blown away by watching Nyle DiMarco dance! He's a completely deaf contestant and has to learn to dance from his pro partner, Peta, by getting visual cues from her and just memorizing the steps. Amazing (found this video on youtube)... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fp4sCE5Amxk
  17. Thanks for the link to that 2012 interview with MG. I didn't follow the show that closely in the beginning. I find MG's comments back then really interesting - considering how often I read complaints that Arrow has "turned into a soap opera" and needs to get back to "what made the show good" in S1. I hope that Felicity rejoins the team and also remains head of Palmer Tech (hopefully, renamed sometime soon). I guess she's like Pepper Potts now. I think the company's being on the edge of cutting technology will open up new storylines in the future.
  18. I guess not many Arrow fans voted in this poll - SA's Green Arrow lost last round to Adam West's Batman (52% to 48%)! So the final round matchup is Adam West's Batman vs. GG's Flash... 23. Here are the portions of the above-linked EW interview with MG, published today, that caught my eye - (1) where MG seems to say that superhero deaths in TV shows are different from superhero deaths in comic books because of actors' contracts, and (2) where MG compares comic books to soap operas (I think that now makes all three of the original Arrow EPs who've made the soap opera comparison - GB, AK, MG):
