  3. SA did a facebook Q&A yesterday (portions posted below)... Bryce Ware What's the hardest location you've had to shoot at?? Rather it be because of the weather, amount of population, or anything 12 · 15 hrs Stephen Amell There's a warehouse that we've used multiple times over the past several years. It's dark, dusty and has a bad echo to it. Days are always slow out there. 154 · 15 hrs John Brady Seeing as Deathstroke has been announced for Justice League, do you think he could make another appearance in Arrow? 17 · 15 hrs Stephen Amell No idea... 6. Includes full Sunday Arrow panel with CR, PB, KC and CD (I only transcribed portions of panel below)... Heroes and Villains Fan Fest San Jose Video #5 Published on Aug 31, 2016, by steven alvarez -- On the emotional toll of exiting the show, KC: "It sucks. Um, you know, it's television and especially with this - with this world that we're - you know, our universe, anything can happen and, um, it was definitely [unintelligible word] season but that was really hard, sad, but you never know what can happen." PB: "Is anybody really dead on Arrow?" KC: "I know, I'm not sure." PB: "I think that's the question we should ask." CD: "Yes, they are, actually." PB: "Oh yeah, sorry." KC: "Well, at least Laurel and Tommy can be in heaven together." CD: "That's right." PB: "There you go, flashbacks." CD: "What's really, I think, very satisfying for us that have played these characters that are no longer there is to come to things like this and see on social media how, uh, attached the fans are to those characters... I mean, c'mon, Arrow's going into its 5th season now and - which is amazing, thanks to you guys - the fact that, uh, y'all are still talking about a character that was only there for one season is amazing to me, and it's really cool." -- On whether Laurel is going to be resurrected, KC: "It would be awesome. I don't know. What do you think, Paul?" PB: "Anything can happen. Let me say it, anything can happen... I hope it happens." KC: "Me too." -- On whether Laurel's Earth-2 doppelganger, Black Siren, is going to return to appear on Arrow, KC: "I don't know, bud. Maybe. Anything can happen." -- On whether they would want a musical Arrow episode, both KC and PB said "No." CD admitted that he has been known to sing on occasion. -- When audience member said to KC "I just want to say, Katie, I love you as Black Canary and we all want you back," there was some audience applause but not as much as I expected. -- On whether Quentin will develop more of a father/daughter dynamic with Felicity in S5 (since Laurel's dead and Sara's off gallivanting through time), PB: "Lance is just sitting in a corner drinking coffee basically. That's all he's doing. Um, that would be - no, there's a funny little moment, actually, that we had, Emily and I, with regard to that - and I don't know if you can talk about it because of all that spoiler stuff, you know. But it's a great moment coming up and you might not notice it, but there's a little moment between the two of them regarding that. But, um, oh actually I have been working with - a lot this season - which has been interesting - has been Willa. There's a quite curious - because I don't think we ever said a word to each other for like four years. And suddenly you're reading the script and it says 'Thea and Lance talking to each other.' I was like, 'oh, I wondered who she was.' So um, we've had some, uh, some really nice scenes. So if anything, there might be a little bit of that going on." -- On whether Laurel was killed off because Black Canary is going to appear in the DC movie universe in a possible Birds of Prey movie, KC: "I don't know... I have no idea." -- On two truths and a lie for S5, KC: "I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead." CD: "I'm dead, I'm dead -" KC: "I'm alive?" CD: "I'm alive." -- PB: "There was an interesting scene the other day between myself and Willa and [Josh] Segarra... It was a very interesting scene. About halfway through I realized that everybody's telling lies - everything that everybody was saying to each other was a lie, from the character's point of view. And it was actually a brilliant scene because it was just - the whole thing was a lie. So that's a truth about a scene full of lies. In Season 5." -- On how their characters would react to meeting their Earth-2 doppelgangers, CD: "Tommy would love to meet Earth-2 Tommy. I would love to meet Earth-2 Tommy." KC said that she would love to see a fight between Black Siren & Black Canary. -- On how long their characters would last on Walking Dead, CD: "Tommy would be dead in a second. He's the first one to eat." PB: "I've never seen The Walking Dead." CR: "I think Donna would kill one or two with her stiletto and then be taken out, probably." KC: "Oh, Laurel would put up a good fight. She'd be down for that."
  7. From her interview in Sep. 1, 2016 issue of NKD magazine... -- EBR: "She's carrying this huge amount of guilt, and she's not letting it go in any way. All it's doing is festering up and around episodes 3-5 [of Season 5] we're going to see her break." -- Because of Havenrock, EBR understands that Felicity can no longer be light.
  8. The TVLine article that @bijoux just posted in the Spoilers thread also included this update on that Blind Item that was previously discussed in this forum...
  9. Once again, TV Fanatic gets its facts wrong (and conveniently forgets about Felicity)...
  10. I figured out the real identity of 'Prometheus' - he's Malcolm Merlyn in a modified Dark Archer costume. And he'll be defeated by Oliver and unmasked in a climactic fight in the back half of S5. Then he'll be presumed dead, but come back in S6. Wash, rinse, repeat... ;)
  11. Note that the guy holding the gun on Oliver is identified: "Mike Dopud as Viktor." Mike Dopud is a 48-year-old Canadian actor, stuntman and athlete. His height is 6'0". Episode 501 must be his Arrow debut because no Arrow credits show up on his IMDB page (yet)... IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0233304/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/dopudmike
  12. This article includes video clip of deleted Poppy/Oliver scene from 404 (Beyond Redemption)... http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/today-on-blu-raydvd-arrow-the-complete-fourth-season/ In this deleted scene, Taiana explains to Oliver how she came to be on the island: Every few months, Reiter sent men out to raid as pirates. She was working on a yacht as a dive instructor. Her brother was the deckhand. Reiter's men captured their boat and killed everyone else.
  13. Yes, DL was cast as Kovar. From my S5 spoilers compilation... David Meunier is a 43-year-old American actor. He is approximately 6' tall... IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1635108/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/david_meunier
  14. This poster is incredibly, incredibly tasteless. Don't the WB PR people know that that slogan is just code for something extremely offensive? Youtube versions of the Olicty supercut and the S4 gag reel...

  21. Includes spoilery clips from SA panel starting at around the 8:50 mark... Heroes & Villains Fan Fest 2016: San Jose Published on Aug 29, 2016, by swtjazzybellz -- SA: "There will be an opportunity this year to see a version of Oliver where he is not, uh, committed to the idea of being the Green Arrow... (Audience goes "oooh!") Oh shut up, you're going to love it. It's a really good idea. It's a really good idea. Maybe. But uh, yeah. I would love an Oliver who's way more relaxed. Remember that episode of Breaking Bad where Aaron Paul and, uh, Bryan Cranston were just in the lab and there was a bee - or a bug or a something - it's a fly? Thanks, Encore. That's my buddy Encore. Um, yeah. It would be really cool for Arrow to have an episode like that - like a departure. But we're going to have that opportunity this year, I think." -- SA: "I would really like the idea of Oliver meeting Supergirl, but then Barry telling me before I see her powers that she's an alien... and then Oliver just going 'huuh' (sighs heavily, closes eyes and shakes head slowly)... 'o-kay.'" -- SA: "I will say that Cody Rhodes really reinvigorated me about the joy of being on set because this was his first professional acting job, aside from sports entertainment, which is, you know, theater in some way. But it was his first television job. He showed up early. He spent full days on set behind the monitors, just watching what we were doing, asking questions, trying to be at his best. He was such an honor and a pleasure to have on Arrow. I hope we get to have him back. And I think that everyone is going to love his episode." -- SA: "The suit changes in Season 5. That's a good question. Uh, we added sleeves back onto the suit for a variety of reasons. Um, one of the reasons will be explained on the show. But one of the other reasons was that, I'm not a method actor by any means. Um, but I do like to embody my character a little bit. And when you're the Arrow and you're 'uhhg, Arrow' (using deep, growly voice and raising fist), uh, it's a little bit tough when after every take, when you're filming on a rooftop at 3 o' clock in the morning in November, you go, 'can I have my puffy coat please?' I don't want that... I want to, like, really embody the character. So that was one of many reasons why we added sleeves back onto the suit for this year... And also, it's a nice, um, nod to the character you see in Legends, Oliver in 2046." -- SA: "I never do a crossover with Grant. He does crossovers with me. I was first. (Audience cheers and claps) ... Truthfully, though, I really do enjoy going to The Flash set. It's got a different feel. It's got a different vibe. It has a lot of people from Arrow in the Arrow crew that we worked with in Season 1 and Season 2." Also SA: "And I feel like any time that Barry and Oliver get a chance to interact in any way, shape or form, it's always fun. It always feels very meaningful. And Grant's a great actor." -- SA: "We're filming Episode 97 right now."
  22. From Friday evening, Aug. 26 (8:30 on West Coast)... Stephen Amell - Happy Friday! Published on Aug 27, 2016, by Stephen-Amell™ -- They were a quarter of the way through the day on Arrow. -- SA did interview with Damien Holbrook of TV Guide that morning. -- Once Arrow is done, the first thing he'll do is sleep. -- They're waiting for it to get dark so that they "can shoot a scene on some steps - no spoilers here." -- In the early days of his acting career, he used to judge his worth on number of days worked, but now he judges it on how many days he has off. -- His weekends tend to be longer now so he can spend time with family, so his work weeks are packed. -- SA hits the gym two days a week now. -- SA did filming for LoT "recently." -- SA hopes to keep playing Oliver for as long as Arrow is on. -- When asked what are his fave TV shows, he mentioned Game of Thrones and Survivor. -- He's "so out of the loop on music." -- SA: "It is a little bit of an angsty time... because there's no, like, new content that's happening with Arrow. Don't be angsty. We're in production. The show doesn't come out until October. Just enjoy yourself. Don't scour for news. If it were up to me, I wouldn't release anything. Not a thing. No set photos. No casting news. No previews. Nothing. So be thankful that I don't run the show. Or the network. Or the studio. I'm not criticizing the way that they do it. I would just go the Matt Weiner route, which is to say, 'I don't reveal nothing.' So everyone relax. Enjoy. I can report that the first two episodes are f**king awesome. Really. So there we go." ETA: Matt Weiner is the creator of Mad Men and is apparently notorious for avoiding/not revealing spoilers.
