  1. Why didn't you bring the $200,000? Tre: Because you know, you know, first of all we didn't have the money. Joe: I had it arraigned. I had it set up and um I don't know what happened. I mean it was there, it just wasn't, i dunno.
  2. Thank you ToukieSmith. What is wrong with that Bravo cameraman who did not move over two feet so that Teresa and Joe were in full view? Instead we got this artsy fartsy voyeuristic camera shot, as if we too were sitting at the table wondering what was going on like the rest of the cast.
  3. Thanks ginger90! Teresa and Joe are the worst. He is probably looking forward to her 15 months in prison and going to have a great time while she is gone.
  4. Geez, I picked the wrong season to stop watching RHONJ. Is this episode online anywhere? Teresa is going to have mall-withdrawal symptoms in prison. She needs shopping rehab as much as Joe needs booze rehab. I was watching my tivoed episodes of season 1 last night and when they were eating dinner at that outdoor restaurant and Joe has a voiceover that says "I get pissed at how much money Teresa spends but what ya gonna do about it? Happy wife, happy life." I totally believe she wanted the money and took it out willingly and knowingly, thinking she only had to make some kind of payment every month. Joe most likely planned to use bankruptcy to wipe the slate clean if need be, and so we have Tre going into the kids clothing shops and buying everything. When they were in Atlantic City she emptied out her luggage and she had like 20 bikinis in there. I had no idea their house was 10,000 sq feet before I paid attention to the fraud charges. The tacky furniture, the granite, the hand forged staircase railing, those ridiculous front doors, the laughable matching outfits she put those girls in, and on and on.The woman went nuts buying high end and low end crap for years; 15 months is very little time in jail in comparison to the ride she's been on.
  5. Yeah but the difference is that the typical publishing contract usually weighs heavily toward the publishing house's interests. Teresa probably signed one contract that gave her publisher the rights to the next three cook books. Remember this would be before there was any guarantee the books would hit it big, so there probably was not a ton of money offered upfront. Those contracts will be written with an eye toward paying the publishing houses first, Teresa second, and unless she had an entertainment lawyer or someone savvy looking out for her rights, I'm sure she didn't read those either but was "trustworthy" and signed off. So my point is, Milania could have signed those publishing contracts, it didn't make Teresa any smarter.
  6. She didn't know what "omitted" meant, last night when Andy used the word. She had to double check and say "Do you mean left off?"
  7. Like the governor of New Jersey will call her on January 4th and tell her "Psyche! We were just kidding youse."
  8. I wish Andy would mention the bankruptcy fraud ... that was recent. "I guess I'ma gonna be da housewife. What ya gonna do?"
  9. "I gotta do what I gotta do." "If you stick me with a knife I'll never even feel it." I want a Joe Guidice 2015 calendar with a saying per month.
  10. "it is what it is""I'm trustworthy! blah blah blah" Okay, they are the dumbest, ever. They do not understand at all what they were up against.
  11. Yeah well they also started RHONJ before the hour because I tivoed it and when I started watching it at 0.00 on the little tivo bar all the shouting was already over and Jim was running upstairs with Ambuh like a little girl. So thanks Bravo for starting the show before its time slot so I got to miss the big dramatic moments. The Manzod show is a real head scratcher. What a bunch of unlovable mopes. Really, these three kids have nothing going for them...looks, personality, wits, sense of humor. Nuttin. And Caroline does't even try to look attractive. What the heck? Well, I take that back. I thought Lauren looked really pretty and I did love the bridal gown she picked out on her. I will be interested in the ratings on that show just to see how far they tank.
  12. No, I'm not kidding. The lawyers didn't fill out the asset form and those omissions were what kept Teresa from getting probation, according to the judge. So what I am saying is even if the lawyers say, "fill out the asset form very carefully. Do not omit anything, cars, jewelry, construction equipment, new atvs, etc. Do you understand me?" and Teresa and Joe nod their heads up and down and swear to god that they are going to disclose everything. Then they take the forms home, throw them on the desk with a note to get it done before Oct. 2. They take it out the night before, look at it and go, hmmm, what were we supposed to do with this again?" and "He definitely said construction equipment and atvs are not assets," and Teresa says, "yeah, that's right. I think I remember him saying that too." That's what I actually think goes on in that house. I think they are really really really really really really dum. And that they don't even know how to spell the word dumb, either. The lawyers were not responsible for filling out the forms, obviously, because I expect that they would have been held somewhat accountable for them by the judge. It wasn't the lawyer's job to fill it out. Maybe to ask the Guidices to hand it in ahead of the court date so they could review it. Maybe they asked them to do that, and they still never did it and the lawyers just let them hang themselves.
  13. I would like to know if the Guidices are unable to, or unwilling to, follow the instructions of the court. I think that there is a real possibility that they are actually unable to mentally process what was required of them or to understand what their instructions were. Like if there was a possible appeal based on stupidity, I could see them winning that. Teresa did understand that she was going to have her picture taken going to and from the courthouse, hence the makeup artist and hair stylist that visited her that morning. But reading a pre-sentencing requirement to list their assets or bring the cash required with them by the sentencing date might be beyond their mental capacity. Or, quite possibly, they do not possess the attention spans or attention to detail that filling out a list of assets requires. And compare that to the type of detailed inventory the feds would be able to provide regarding their assets the Guidices were just always going to fall short. I can see them filling out the form, getting stumped, and deciding to just write down $0 and go on to the next thing. Sometimes I think I have to give up on wanting them to "get" what they did. They are simply stunted on a second grade level (no offense to any smart second graders reading here.) and I keep expecting more out of them.
  14. Wait...Teresa and Joe had that ridiculous, blow-out faux 2nd wedding for the season finale but no one came? Was it filmed by Bravo or not, I wonder, because if it was I think Bravo needs to cough up the footage in a Very Special Episode right now. That castle or wherever it was filmed at was where Kevin and Danielle Jonas had their wedding. Teresa probably saw their wedding and wanted one for herself too.
  15. I feel similarly disappointed in the judge for making those statements to Joe directly that he is a good father and has a lot to live for. He is so the opposite of a good father it is ridiculous. We have seen him call Gia ugly to her face, insult their mother, be drunk, be violent. He drives drunk, commits fraud, thumbs his nose at the courts, etc. His own lawyer said he shows up with alcohol on his breath. With this prison sentence hanging over his head and a very dire future ahead he is probably subject to becoming very depressed and drinking even more. No way should he be in charge of the kids full time, they will need a mother figure at the same time. I do wonder if the judge was protecting herself because of Juicy's connections by saying all those obviously untrue things about him; as a NJ judge she would know about the connections, etc. and hedge her bets. Yeah, see what I mean about not being a good dad? Maybe this woman was one of his side women and she hasn't decided to charge him yet because they have plans to hang out while Teresa's in the slammer. Well, let's see. Joe tried to get a driver's license using his brother's license as ID. I hope the feds took his brother's passports too, because if anyone would be dumb enough to try it's Juicy. I tivoed all the episodes too but feel a little Guidice overload today after yesterday's marathon twitter refreshing day. I'll keep them and maybe watch them soon though. I really enjoy the old time Teresa and Joe scenes. Also, if I learned anything yesterday it was that Headline News is such a sham; all they do is quote from people's twitters. I can't believe that was the station where Anderson Cooper used to hold court. Oh, and it's nice to not have to watch the constant EBOLA IS GOING TO KILL US ALL news reports of yesterday either.
  16. From the article, it said they were supposed to bring $200,000 to the sentencing but that it was still "being processed" which I read as code for they still did not hear back from the banks they were trying to borrow it from. How in the world would the Guidices even have $200,000 at this point to hand over to anyone? Teresa needs to start selling off her stuff today if she wants anyone to believe she has discovered the "reason" this happened to her. I would totally bid on one of her handbags were it to show up on ebay. Not the winning bid, but a bid.
  17. Don't forget to watch Nancy Grace tonight. I hope we get eyewitness reports of Teresa's reaction and at least some footage of them driving back home.
  18. At least its not probation. Quick, someone get a camera on Amber right now.
  19. Right, we don't know that you are sorry because you don't act like you are sorry. duh. And the only time she cries is when there are no cameras around. rip-off.
