  1. I wish I could see a live feed of that. She is the worst actress. Her crying scenes are the fakest I've ever seen, and I've watched A LOT of reality shows.
  2. I don't know how Teresa could stand to wait through that long of a sentence before going in. I would put the girls with some relatives and get it over with. Then when they come out their girls may have been reprogrammed by some decent people.
  3. The Daily Mail--based in England-- has the sentence before Headline News.
  4. Yes. While the sentence was already out there they were quoting a tweet from Miss St. Louis saying the Guidices were good people who just got caught up in something.
  5. HLN talking about case now but not reporting sentence. Wow. So much for their news feed.
  6. Well I squeezed in a shower and see I haven't missed much. Should be breaking for lunch in NJ soon. Maybe I'll vacuum next.
  7. Lotusflower can you share the link where this info is coming from?
  8. My dogs are getting really annoyed...it is an hour and a half past their usual morning walk time. C'mon judge hurry it up!
  9. Kind of dumb reasoning on their lawyer's part. I mean, no one forced Juicy Joe to commit fraud so the line of logic has to go right back on Joe for his father's death, and not the feds, if that's what they are getting at. Geez, not a really fine legal mind there.
  10. No, I am not there. Just updating the New Jersey Star-Ledger reporter VickiDish's Twitter.
  11. Tweet update: Still no sentence, judge is admonishing the Guidices for hiding their assets in financial disclosure reports. Joe's lawyer blames sr. Joe's death on case. Going back to courtroom where no devices are allowed.
  12. I'm just refreshing her twitter constantly as I expect everyone in the courtroom will make a mad dash to the door as soon as the judge dismisses them to tweet the sentence out in the hallway.
  13. Headline News is showing clips of Teresa and Joe, but old clips. I don't think they have a reporter there.
  14. Good morning everyone! It's finally here!!!! I hope the prosecution counters Teresa's letter with video of her out "in the community" driving in her pajamas with a cup of hot coffee in one hand and no seat belts on any of her kids. I'm parked in front of Headline News and the internets for the next couple of hours. It's a rainy morning here anyway ....
  15. Jesse Jackson Jr. got 30 months in prison for illegally spending $750,000 in campaign funds and his wife got one year too. They have school age children. I don't know if campaign finance abuse is considered more or less egregious than mortgage/ bankruptcy fraud.
  16. Who was the classy gentlemen that mooned everyone? Teresa or Joe's dad?
  17. True but does that translate into probation only? I hope not. I'm expecting her sentence to be based on the laws she broke, not in comparison to what Joe did. I think she wants to spin it like that, however.
  18. I do not understand how Teresa's guilt is somehow less than Joe's guilt. She is as guilty, I think even more guilty, than Joe because she had more income coming in at the end WHEN THEY WERE ALREADY IN TROUBLE AND INTERACTING WITH THE COURTS and still hid it. I always thought that Joe is not smart enough to think this up himself, that either his buds or someone he knew showed him how to work the system, told him that everyone does it, and if you get in a pickle you declare bankruptcy and start over. Which a lot of people did in the past ten years. Obviously it worked for the Guidices for a long time, and I hardly think Joe was the one who had to have the excess we see in the marble mausoleum. Tre designed those finishes that cost so much and I don't think she understood, or still understands, the nature of a financial crime. In her mind jail is for rapists and murderers and she is neither of those. I bet she always told herself "We ain't hurtin nobody" everytime she signed off on another fraudulent loan application and as long as they were paying something back they were golden. Hence her constant proclamations that she doesn't understand why this is happening to her family and her four beautiful daughters. She is so dumb that I think the only way she figures it out is when another inmate sits her down in the television room at the pen and draws her a picture of her and Joe taking out money, and then a line going to all the tradesmen they used, and then a line of payment going to Nordstrom's instead of the tradesmen's families, and then a picture of the tradesmen's families in unclensy houses with sad faces compared to a pic of Tre's house and kids with happy faces. Something like that might get to her, but eh, I don't know. She is certainly one for the books. In fact if I was in Congress I'd be sponsoring the Teresa Guidice Financial Education Bill which requires all high schools graduates to pass a financial literacy exam before being let loose into the world.
  19. Yeah, I don't see how both of them pleading guilty means its more likely for Teresa to get probation. Since when does entering a guilty plea without hesitation earn you extra points with the judge? That article is saying that Joe plead guilty to help Teresa, but I just figure the Guidices plead guilty because they are guilty and 2) the lawyers didn't want to take the case to trial because the lawyers want to get paid and they know the Guidices have no money and would lose the case against the feds anyway. I will be really pissed if she gets probation....does anyone know if probation will actually affect her life at all in any way?
  20. According to Radar Online Teresa and Joe had a going away party Saturday night. http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2014/09/teresa-giudice-joe-giudice-throw-stays-strong-party-rhonj/ Maybe they want it over with and don't plan to ask for any delays.
  21. Does anyone know what time the sentencing will take place? I'm beginning to think this is really going to happen and I want to clear my schedule for Thursday. lol
  22. I don't expect prison to change Teresa. She is obviously greedy and materialistic in a way that is very deep rooted. I do not think any kind of prison sentence will change her need to front. I do not think she will have a come to Jesus moment. She will endure her sentence and then come out, I predict, "better than ever!" She will promote herself as a survivor, her children as survivors. She'll probably even say prison was not that bad, that everyone loved her, etc. I don't think she will ever say "I screwed up. Don't do what I did. It wasn't worth it." Even if she was forced to sell her entire wardrobe on ebay she would just borrow Dina's clothes for appearances. She'll probably do a nightclub "Jailbreak" tour for cash after her release. She may "go away" for a little while, but when she comes out she will work it. It remains to be seen if reputable organizations or companies will want to take her on. She doesn't seem to have a conscience, and I doubt she will grow one at this stage.
  23. Hi all! Just stopped by before the premiere to (hopefully) find others as horrified as I was when I saw the twinnies mugs on the new cast list. It's as if good things in life (the twinnies first episode TAR All Stars boot) can't just exist on their own in the universe. We have to pay for them somewhere down the road. I think this is the worst case of cross-contamination I've had to endure in my reality tv watching career. Seriously. I can't stand them.
  24. I can see Tre signing on for a wacky-post prison lifestyle show where she and her four beautiful daughters live the simple life: you know, become avid coupon clippers, go to Costco for their pants and winter coats and Xmas gift shopping, throw a birthday party in their backyard with nothing but a Duncan Hines cake in a 11 x 13 pan, drive a FORD, live in a used unclensy house, etc. She is going to need money from somewhere. Then they take the cameras to go visit Juicy in prison--and on this point Bravo will not negotiate. I would watch that. In fact, I am only watching RHONJ this year because I want to see the Guidice's last hurrah. I gave up on the past few seasons basically because of 1) Jackie and Ashley -- I hated that story line 2) The Manzos -- cannot stand Albie The Great or Caroline or her daughter. But Teresa's brand of stupid I find highly entertaining. On an aside I can barely stomach the 30 second commercial for Caroline's new show that Bravo has been running. Who is going to watch it in its entirety? And wasn't today originally supposed to be the sentencing? Sigh. Oh well. Oct. 2 is a week from tomorrow and it hasn't been pushed back yet. Cross yer fingers!
