  1. and one more thing to cross off the wish list!
  2. This has been top of my wish list for ages. I would tune back in to see the MarcoJack in action.
  3. and here I thought it was just me growing old and cynical. I agree about the changes-not just for love, but all the relationships. There are no continuing relationships. Remember when Nick and Michael were brodads taking the kids to the Pumpkin Patch? They are practically strangers when they meet now. Phyliss and Lauren told each other everything but where was that relationship after the coma return? Sharon was almost a friend to Hillary, Chelz, Lily (?) but no one seems to be there for her now. I realize its the plot driven writing that dredges up any old friendship when it's convenient, but come. on. This is a days-in-the-life type show and the characters are supposed to know each other and interact accordingly.
  4. I don't think it will absolve them. I think it will just underline how trashy they both are. Jack has class and he would not lower himself to a public display. I heartily agree that he needs to serve up the cold revenge and destroy everything these two losers have. Starting with: no jobs (Jabot, Passkey, Wendy's), meandering on thru relationships with family-bye bye Summer, Daniel Traci and Ashley, and ending with depletion of any and all bank accounts, trust funds, alimony, etc. and maybe calling Gil the Bookie. Then invite them to Rexx Rugs while Chlot (sic) or Drinnki/Kneel is on the road.
  5. I would not be surprised if they use GhostJohn to berate Jack, pointing out all his husbandly flaws and lecturing him on poor Billy's faults that he (Jack) must understand and forgive. GJ will also want Jack to rehabilitate Billy, save Jabot and find Mamie. And I, too, was on board with the Phack love, mostly because of GT's portrayal of the character. Despite the fact that the first place she showed up publicly after she dragged her way back from Georgia was Shick's wedding, I still got that she was in love with Jack and just wanted to fuck up Sharon. MS never convinced me of the love (of anyone) because her delivery of every line to every character included a smirk and couldn't-care-less attitude that underlined the egoistic nature of the character. To me, Phyllis is not ruined at this point-she is just back to who she always was, (someone with a long history of callous, destructive acts on just about everyone in GC). Phack could have been a great story of psychological rehabilitation thru a good relationship. It would have sent a strong message in the story and to the audience. Instead, we get this insipid 'romance' that uses only the darkest sides of the character's makeup and contributes absolutely nothing to the show. I'm not that needy, Pratthole, that I need second rate (not even one 'X') sex in the afternoon. #wouldnotpaytoseethis
  6. This is why I never bought into Jack and Phyllis as TrueLove. I can't buy she loves anyone (even Daniel) more than herself. She has always been a destructive person to others in her self-serving way, [with her blogs, her deceptions and sexual exploits,] that I can't believe she is 'torn' emotionally between Billy and Jack. The character I've seen would just chalk it all up to 'what's good for me' and shine everyone on. (Or kill whomever gets in the way-lookout Brittany/Bethany!) Billy is also a self-loving destructive person but he's destructive to himself (drinking, gambling away his money, poor father skills) and only hurting people by letting them down. (ok, exception: Delia) The old Billy would have remorse about banging his bro's wife (ex: Billy showed guilt about Sharon back in the day) and gone out and done something destructive to himself, not stomped around all self-righteous. It's as if Phyllis and Billy have changed personalities. Amen. I hate when a character does an about face with out proper buildup or reasons. [No, a brain tumor is not a good reason-especially when the whole town gets them.] Kinda like the reaction both Jack and Phyllis had to Victor when they found out about Marco, et al. Nothin', nada, poof.......
  7. Have you checked with Legal Aid (or whatever the WA equivalent is)? They can help you find a lawyer that will lawyer for you within your budget, using sliding scales and payment plans. and your 'tv lawyer' should be reported to the bar
  8. Only if they are being used in the lab as test animals.
  9. Only if they are being used in the lab as test animals.
  10. As little as possible-as in, answer only the questions asked. Have all your documentation at hand and in order. Are you allowed to have some representation (lawyer) present? Just remember, you are going for something you are entitled to and the judge is there to make sure procedure is followed. He/she is not there to punish you. No need to feel defensive or frightened-it's just a room and everyone in it is just people.
  11. Every job interview in this town starts with "Hi, I'm (fill in name of wealthy business owner/CEO)'s kid......give me a job that has a big office, allows me plenty of time to cruise the various GC watering holes and spout my neurotic narrative and/or exposit private matters publicly and the only educational requirement is a few (fast track) business classes at GC Community College to acquire an MBA.
  12. Does seem to be a cluster. Shouldn't the CDC be looking into this? While they are passing out brain tumors-couldn't Stitch get one? A rapid-growth one that doesn't respond to TumorAde, maybe? Monday Night Raaaawww! He could tag team with his bud Woodhouse-they'd be the Bumbly Boyz.
  13. This is what I was getting at in an earlier post. Jill needs to slip on Catherine's queenly robes (and red fingernails and rings). Show needs this, if only to bring to the screen everything Preverts are saying. When Jeanne Cooper died I thought that Jill would take her place-it seemed like a natural transition to me. Imagine my dismay (and resulting refusal to watch the show) when they went right past her to Devon (still don't buy his heritage) and then on to NonononoBilly. JFP had to rub it in publicly at the reading of the will-ignoring the history of Catherine's and Jill's relationship and pretty much kicking her off the show. This isn't just bad writing-it's a sociopathic vendetta. #bringonthevets It's who Billy always was-but everybody knew this about him so they didn't give him anything to do (with Jabot, family matters) without close supervision. Old Billy would never have gotten any money out of Jack, been allowed to re-do the mansion or steal/buy a company like B&S. He did things on his own like win a restaurant (that he fucked up), marriage to a Newman (that he fucked up), kill his kid (ultimate fuckup). This version of Billy is like an Equal Opportunity nightmare. We have to 'give him a chance' or he's not getting a fair deal. News Flash: the viewers aren't getting anything near a fair deal. Question for Preverts: When Billy moved into Murphy's trailer (in one of those "I'm on my own" snits) did he have a bike? I vaguely remember the handlebars of a Harley showing in the carport. Possibly a symbol of his break from the corporate world of his family? uhh, bullsh*t?
  14. ooooo! I like this. It makes the switcheroo story plausible if Sage and RealGabe had the murder in the works beforehand. Sage did some fast thinking at the crash site/hospital/whatever and saved the plan. Thumper, wish you were writing for this show! She was a "bad person", ffs. She conned the old lady who took her in. She dumped Gabadam for Mo'bucksDick and had sex on a drop cloth. She's the poster child for Bad Person.
  15. I'm not sure what is going on with this Journal shite, but I have some musings: Wasn't Adam/Gabe pretty much out of it when he came to Constance Manor? Weeks (months?) of surgery, pain killers, therapy would not give him much of an opportunity to think up and execute a plan to kill the old lady. Sage came up with the switcheroo plan, didn't she? I have a hard time believing Adam the crash victim just jumped on that opportunity fresh from a fiery accident when he had no knowledge beforehand of Gabe, et al. If this was a plan only he had, how does Sage know about it? Was he stupid enough to tell her after the fact? If she knew about it and did nothing to stop it, doesn't that make her an accomplice, accessory after the fact, guilty by omission? (yes, Dick, she was a bad person) From the history we have of Gabe/Adam and Sage, they were in cahoots to keep Adam's identity from Constance, pass off Adam as Gabe and carry out a marriage plan that would leave them an inheritance. From the history, (which I know Pratthole ignores) Constance was pretty much on her deathbed anyhow and it seemed that Gabadam and Sage were ok with living in the mansion until she died of natural causes. Any suspicions that Constance had were waved away as the behavior of a sick, dying old woman. If we are to accept that Constance was murdered, (and, yes, there was motive when she was hallucinating the real Gabe), it would have been nice to have seen some action of it earlier. For instance, Sage giving her medicine (=poison) and hiding the bottle with a piece of toast or something. Anything. --I know, I know...I expect people spending/receiving a lot of money to entertain me to be professional. My bad.--
  16. I have to jump in here, too, because I had The Lump Experience (actually two of them, six months apart) about 34 years ago. The fear, anxiety and feelings of helplessness have not changed, I see. ValleyCliffe makes a good point about how long you are waiting for testing-but it is still a long wait. I remember having bad thoughts about the medical profession, too, but I think they play it down to keep you from freaking out-not that that works, but, it's a theory. My suggestion is to not think the worst until you actually know it's the worst. (Saved me a lot of stress on the second one.) The odds are the same for it being benign as it is malignant. Reading your post, I realized that all but one of my female friends has had The Experience. Only one of them actually had cancer-that was over twenty years ago and she's doing just fine. (We're in a dance class together, so there.) So hang in there. You have a good sense of humour-use it. Smite that interloper!
  17. If anyone should be having a breakdown, it should be Phyl. What with her escape from a year-long coma and the Marco/Jack debacle. (Jack is a candidate, too-way ahead of NowayBilly). It would make more sense to me if the writer's are going to stick with the Jack+Phyl=forever. I'll give her a momentary lapse of any judgement and Jack forgiving her. (after all, she is the love of his life-=barf=) NonsuchBilly can be thrown off a bridge-by Jack, even if Jack forgives him.
  18. Was this the former basketball court where shirtless (and unwaxed) hotties played ball? Miss it. *So you think they could get better catering than a HotDogCart for the weddings, funerals, shootings, and tree plantings in memorium.
  19. Waaahhh. Like LeftPhalange, I don't want MaddMax out of GC til he takes out a few Newmans, the whole Ozziecattlemob and that weird prince or whatever he is. Oh, and definitely NevernowayeverBilly.
  20. I missed the Fiona intro-so I can only guess how she got into Cheesestick's robe. Did she get a mud bath on the bike, too? ( Is that NvrBilly's wooing schtick? Lame-just ask her her sign or show them the hockey stick and let nature take its course.) It sounds as if she is going to be whatever tough-talking, hard hitting, takenoprisoners kind of gal that HackerChick was supposed to be. (Fiona tells Jack something is going on with Billy and Phyllis/cmb81) Buyers have so much influence, dontchaknow and Teflon psyches.
  21. words are worth a thousand pictures! Thank you! Maybe Sharon can adopt/kidnap him and show him the ropes.
  22. The Hot Dog Cart Wedding Chapel guy expanded?
  23. I am so loving this kid. He has the potential to wipe out the entire city. He's like a little Typhoid Mary or something. They'll never see it coming.
  24. Will he remember to erase the tape made of him sneaking into the surveillance room to erase the tapes?
