I'm going to agree to the conspiracy theory (because I cannot see GloJack as possible due to their past history). If they were really having an affair or fuckbuddy relationship, it could take place at Jack's home to keep it a secret. (Mrs. Martinez: "I saw nothing") Having it at the apparently only hotel in the great metropolis of GC insures that it will be discovered . The shock value of the affair throws people off the scent of takeover, and a takeover makes sense in that Gloria is pissed with Lauren and Jack wants Fenmore. They may have gotten drunk enough to wind up next morning in the same bed, but these two are cagey and used that to further their plans by working together. for us all. But I still think Gloria is using Jack for bigger things than a receptionist job, Jack's using her to get over on Lauren and they both want Fenmore's.

I'm having a hard time trying to understand how moving to GC instead of Poland is better regarding his schooling. Is he going to commute back to DC to spend his high school years with his friends he's had for years? Are the kids he didn't grow up with in GC going to suddenly have history with him? (My parents moved us from Ohio to Fla in my sophomore year. It was hell.) Better he be with family he knows than Victoria and her mess. I will never believe JT/Mac are the bad guys.
