  1. IF Ray somehow has an indirect hand in Felicity getting hurt (via some suit nonsense or him trying to take someone in the street with Felicity nearby or...whatever), I don't need an actual fist fight. Words'll do me juuuust fine. It is an overdone trope, but personally I'm totally into it.
  2. I love it too, it'd be like fanfic come to life. Which isn't always a good thing, but for me? GOOOOOOD THING
  3. There's really not any point of putting her in a wheelchair. She's not a masked crimefighter, so she doesn't need to be paralyzed to find another way to fight crime. She does that from a computer anyway.
  4. In a sea of dark red lipstick, and sexy, strong wigs, this is encouraging:
  5. Yep, that's what I think too. Hopefully it's doing something badass, not getting caught in some STAR Labs ATOM costume-making mishap.
  6. The most practical thing would be a bun. Can't be pulled on, doesn't get in your face. Doesn't look as "sexy," but neither does that wig, honey. I liked Sara's outfit because it didn't look like a special ops uniform, and it wasn't neck-to-toe black, and there was a softness to her with the hair and the lip gloss. Not that I think you have to be all femmed up to fight crime, but Sara knew she had a lot going on and she needed a nude lip, so...RIP girl, I miss you.
  7. I wonder what the original look was that that was the more feminine option? Wear makeup while you kick ass or don't, I don't care. But that mask and the severe hair and severe lipstick makes that already harsh looking outfit look harsh as HELL.
  8. Yeah, just the comment about the wig and how she wanted it to be "sexy and strong." Like the curly wig somehow made Sara weak? And of all the shit that Laurel's SWF-ing from her sister, the wig is what you were worried about? But, she's got a dark red lip and a matching nail, so I guess it's all good.
  9. Please stop talking. No wonder the costume looks terrible in the face. The dark eyes look better with a mask - and, you know, it conceals the identity more. That black mask with the black lip is not a good look. They did Caity much, much better.
  10. Yeah, he did really want to win. Too bad he didn't know what a cornucopia was! Could've won it. Bennifer was Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. I love Affleck and he was so dirty hot during that period. Complete douchebag level attractive to me. Sigh.
  11. I think that's part of it, and I also think it's partly to do with knowing what generates positive buzz and knowing that there's an unpopular storyline coming to fruition on the horizon. I'm one of the people who thinks that Laurel is off the table romantically for good, even though the producers won't ever come out and say it. If they do manage to bring some of the tide to Laurel's favor with her BC arc, I don't think they'll risk losing that by having her come in between Oliver and Felicity. I know some people think they'd use that as some sort of door opener to try to get them back together again, but I think it's the opposite.
  12. So, since we're supposed to look for awkward eye movements or whatever CH said, does that mean this stuff was filmed but cut? So the repercussive awkward eyes are still on screen?
  13. Well, to be fair he didn't say anything would come of it, just that they'd be in a romantic situation (someone falls on the other during training? someone turns their head and their lips are really close to the other persons?). Could be something played for laughs or a generally awkward encounter that made things uncomfortable for a few eps. I think something like that would be kind of fun to watch as long as it didn't involve Felicity. She's already got enough on her plate.
  14. Well, since CH said the storyline was scrapped, it probably won't ever happen. But if it is intended to be Laurel, oh god, I would love that so much. I would actually specifically tune in for that.
  15. Oh my god, Duncan was the worst. And that whole weirdness with him thinking Veronica was his sister for a bit. He was the blandest, lumpiest old-fashioned cake donut ever. Yuck.
  16. Haha, it would be mortifyingly entertaining. Like...I would tune in for that? I'm sad it was scrapped (hopefully not for good).
  17. Since Felicity's got Ray and Oliver on her hands, I'm thinking if it happens it would probably be Laurel, haha.
  18. I think it'll be helped by the fact that Oliver "died" and people will tune in to see if he returns. They'll still be January norm low though, I think. I'm curious about what they'll be next week. I liked his interview with IGN - he gave a ton of stuff away. Not huge stuff, but...stuff that's good to know. And I like that he said Laurel doesn't really know what she's doing with her "baton." I hope that's legit, although I'm sure it won't last very long. Also, from CH's EW interview over in the SPOILERS ONLY thread: Uh...what
  19. The interview with DR posted in the SPOILERS ONLY thread is a pretty good read, especially his comment about how they had to make him a special Arrow suit so he didn't bust out of it. And this: I know there are all kinds of repercussions to this but all I can think of after seeing the stills from 3x10 is please don't let this suit look as stupid as that arm armor thingy suggests. Please. Nah, Oliver had his removed in S1, IIRC. That Sara thing though, continued sloppiness of the most disgusting kind.
  20. I read somewhere that evidence was being stolen? Not sure where that came from, but I've seen it referred to several times. Maybe that's the guy who's stealing the evidence? I'm really, really trying to give the show the benefit of the doubt until I see how it goes down, even though maybe I shouldn't.
  21. Yeah, I don't think there's anything wrong with what he said. We know she's attainable, but he doesn't think so.
  22. I thought the "vengeance" ended when Laurel went to Ted's gym and he told her something along the lines of going after her sister's killer was a target that she was never going to hit and that she needed to do it herself, and that he saw that in her and that's when she'd really learn? And then he gave her the choice between a red shirt and a black shirt and she said, "Black. Definitely black."? So it was a very short-lived, inconsequential phase in her "journey," that going for vengeance thing.
  23. I love that he had, like, basically everyone he's ever known there with him. It had a very "country boy goes to the big city for the first time" kind of charm to it.
  24. Honestly, I don't think it'll matter if she can sell it or not. She'll be in the costume, and that's all some people care about. I think tomorrow, after she suits up, there will be a lot of "I never really liked Laurel, but I'm digging this!" kind of comments. Obviously, I'm prepared to be wrong, but if I had to bet? I'd say that's exactly what's going to happen.
  25. I just really wish they didn't have her out there saying stuff like, "I'm the justice you can't run from" at this point. Is that definitely in tomorrow's ep? And when did she learn to use a bo staff? I'm hoping it plays differently in the show, because quippy one-liners should be reserved for...people who aren't over-confident newbies.
