It's just that when WM mentioned that other big DC names would be appearing (Mr. Terrific and Anarky - whose names she didn't mention at the interview), she said they were trying to work Felicity's dad in, so it seemed as if her dad was not any of the big names they were talking about this weekend (DD, Mr. Terrific (obviously), or Anarky). So it's not that I think he won't come into play, I just don't think he's DD or Anarky. Even if WM was trying not to give too much away, she could've just said he'd be coming at some point, and that they were working on it.

EBR is being treated like that because she's one of two people who doesn't wear a mask on a show full of superheroes. Well, the only one now I guess since Diggle is Mr. Roboto.

It's not her fault that she gets asked surface-level questions, but Willa got asked the same question Katie did about the costume and provided a very well thought out, poignant response. I think Katie just doesn't think about Laurel beyond random talking points that she works out before hand. She's trained, so she's a kick ass fighter. She's been through stuff, so she earned the mask. She does seem nice and excited about having the moniker now, but there's just not a lot going on there if you're an interviewer looking for some insight into Laurel Lance.

Since this guy is a superhero, I'm guessing she's just her friend so that she can vouch for his trustworthiness before he joins their crusade. I don't think this development has anything to do with Felicity or a support system-she's just an in for him to the superhero business.

I saw a tweet about Felicity getting a "BFF," but it was from someone on Twitter who seemed to be basing that off of tweets from the panel, but no one on the panel said "best friend" just that he was a friend of hers.

I didn't hear anyone say he was her best friend, GB just that he was a friend of Felicity's who works with her. Was the BFF thing mentioned in some other interview?
