Same. He looks so familiar. https://eddieross.com/about Top Design? I didn’t watch that though, so maybe he’s just generic?
-
Yeah. I thought the same thing. I'd like to know how Team Payton came to be. The ending left me excited to see the next season.

OMG I laughed out loud at “Dolly Parton, Davy Crockett, Phil Fulmer.”

Beyond 90210: Cast members in the media and other roles
blueroses replied to desertflower's topic in Beverly Hills, 90210
It’s just so sad. It always seemed like Luke was in on the joke that was 90210. Like he had a great perspective on it that was healthy and self-deprecating. And I really liked him In Riverdale. He seemed like a truly decent person.- 433 replies

Beyond 90210: Cast members in the media and other roles

Daniel Cosgrove is in You (was Lifetime, now Netflix). -
Sarah, you’re absolutely correct about the audience at the Final Table. We noticed it at my house straight away. The host needs to dial it down a couple of notches, but the show is legit.

I feel like this premise has already been done to death. Mid-life celebration. One guy shows up with his new “free spirit” girlfriend no one has met before. Uptight wife. Blah, blah, blah. Come on, show. Surprise me.

Jo's cake topper was the first time I though she deserved a patch she won, so good on her. But she was never going to win (I thought she should have gone at least 2 episodes ago). Khiem deserved the win. He had the best combination of skill and creativity. I was already familiar with Amber from her social media. She reps for Jo Ann fabric so there's a lot of "crafting" with ready-made materials. It's definitely the Amber aesthetic. I love that Making It didn't resort to all the competition show cliches like the home visits. I'm glad we didn't have to sit through meeting all the families. Simon Doonan was so great because you could tell when he didn't like something. Dayna I could take or leave. I want to pack up my Cricut and bin of yarn and move in with Amy and Nick.

That was fun. But Jo wasn’t even in my top 3.

PODCAST S02.E17 Go Pirates!: Dancing Up A Storm
blueroses replied to Primetimer's topic in Veronica Mars
I think I’m about the same age as the VM writers. I graduated high school in 1988, and our school had a Sadie Hawkins dance each year. No drama though. No idea if they were still happening when VM was on because I don’t have children. -
OLTL Outside Llanview: The Cast In Other Roles

Has anyone watched the preview for next week’s Unreal? I think that’s David Chisum, but IMDB isn’t helping. -
Damn. You weren't kidding about the "Jughead Jones hat" hair on Vincent Young.

OLTL Outside Llanview: The Cast In Other Roles

I was catching up on Younger this weekend, and who do I spot but Jay Wilkison (Riley Colson)? His character may or may not be back in the current season. He looks like he hasn't aged since OLTL. The character was pretty charming until he was written otherwise. Sounds familiar? -
S06.E15: Angels We Have Heard On High

I Googled Jed Allan (Rush), and the awesome pinky ring belongs to the actor! This delights me. Also, he was briefly Edward Quartermaine on General Hospital in the 2000s! -
Is this the first time Jim's made episode MVP? Poor Carteris, she's been massively hosed storywise for so long.

They were incredibly mediocre, especially considering the kids are supposed to be at a school people from the Valley are faking residency to go to. I remember the podcast where the scores came back and Sarah said the same thing.
-
Not sure why I care, but if Brenda and Brandon got the same total scores on their SATs, why is Brenda taking it again, but Brandon isn't?

Threads (UK) was the scariest thing I ever saw on TV. It gave me nightmares for years.

Wasn't "cardio-funk" what Rhonda on Melrose Place (the other Vanessa Williams) taught for a living? Someone at Spelling productions must have been into it.

I know Mel Silver is a cheating cheater who cheats, but he is so my favorite parent on the show. -
The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story
blueroses replied to UYI's topic in Beverly Hills, 90210
Thank you guys so much for the recap and podcast. I'm a cable cutter with no access to Lifetime and was severely bummed to miss seeing this. The other thing that makes me think there was an effort to stay on Tori's good side was no mention of the endless cycles of "Tori's latest boy toys" who would get cast. Would have loved to see some Jamie Walters/Ray Pruit (whose momma couldn't afford the last T) snark. Or the guy who played Noah The important takeaway from the podcast is that Tara gets up at 4:30 in the morning. I've always wondered how you guys put out so much content. Note to self: be more like Tara. -
S01.E19: April is the Cruelest Month
blueroses replied to Primetimer's topic in Beverly Hills, 90210
We're supposed to believe that Donna's grades fell off a cliff in 7th grade and no one the vaunted BH school district nor Felice and Doc Martin had her tested for this before the SATs. Or that Steve was the only who took a prep test? -
I don't want to be "that a-hole," but "They got the mustard out" was David Fury. Marti Noxon was "parking ticket, I'm not wearing underwear" girl. My team is Capt. Furillo (because...Hill Street Blues) and Willow because Alyson Hannigan will "talk-sing" through the whole thing instead actually singing.
