  1. She was Pamela Harriman and had a scene with Slim Keith at the buffet (chicken hash). Perfect casting.
  2. Peter Bartlett (Nigel) is on this week’s (s3 e6) Only Murders in the Building and is fabulous.
  3. This is moving so slowly that I had to Google “Auggie Cartwright Physical“ at the end because I couldn’t remember who he is.
  4. I started watching Evil (which I guess REG ended up having a semi-recurring role on - don’t know because I’m still on season one). Four episodes before REG’s first appearance, who is in the opening credits? Tim Stickney! I had to go back to see it was him. He still has that voice, but wow I wish the show had used him more. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt10936598/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
  5. Remembering how things went for Paula Jones, I hope Monica knows just how lucky she is that she had family money to fall back on (even though she still had to do things like the Morton book to start to pay her legal bills).
  6. It took me a minute to figure out that Chelsea was carrying a Discman as they got out of the limo and into the vacation house. At first, from the way she was carrying it, I was like “what is Chelsea doing with a cellphone in 1998?”
  7. Most of this episode was great. It has to be difficult scripting conversations that no one even heard between the Clintons. However, I really did not like the final scene. Going with Stand By Your Man was just too on the nose when they already showed Hillary saying it in the 60 Minutes interview. And, really, why keep pulling poor Tammy Wynette into the mess?
  8. Can anyone ID the actor in the Leno writers’ room scene - the last guy to speak who said “Bill Clinton could have had sex with anyone and he chooses her?” He looks so familiar.
  9. Nick seemed truly shocked to be ranked 5th in the finale. Once they got to the last 2, I was rooting for Matthew because James was such a nothing burger in the show to me. It’s like you have to be enough of a player to get to the finale, but not so much that everyone will turn on you once you get there. And it seems like that’s what happened - they went out in order of their player-ness.
  10. What was the thing about who went to which law school? Professor Wiki tells me Laura Ingraham got her law degree at UVA. Is that more prestigious than Michigan or did I miss something?
  11. The Gerald McRaney subplot was so funny and random.
  12. Apparently my heart has been replaced with Folgers Crystals, because all I thought this episode was “I’d kill myself too just to never hear Napoleon again.”
