They've been building towards it all season and last week got a major dose of it but this episode it seemed like they went out of their way to highlight the Gibbs-McGee relationship. I missed Tony though..he just brings a lightness to the show that Tim doesn't have. I don't care if its acting,,,military family reunions always get to me he saw a muddy footprint. If they make Tony the mole I will never watch the show again!

The renewal for next season was announced in late March, does anyone know when they wrapped filming. I'm thinking they left everyone is a happy place because they didn't know the future of the show. thank goodness! A Ziva storyline would have overshadowed the Tony departure and Micheal Weatherly deserves the spotlight to himself after 13 years. I will admit when I read Cote's "they're ruining my character" excuse for leaving I had flashbacks to Katherine Heigl and Grey's Anatomy. Cote's post NCIS career hasn't exactly taken off with 1 bad mini-series and 1 bad movie (which may have been better it if was made-for-tv not theatres)

Maybe he inherited money from his rich Uncle Clive afterall. Tony may have had more policing experience than Tim but he only has a couple of years more time working for NCIS. If you recall in season 9's Phych Out episode Tony found out Tim was taking home more money. Even with deduction for that to happen there couldn't be much difference in their actual pay grades.

There comes the time in any house, even in the country, where you expect a certain level of maintance by your landlord. That includes replacing a leaking roof, replacing leaking windows, plugging holes where rodents come in, and dealing with mold removal and costs involved including the relocating of your tenents. The whole corkscrewing thing would have worked better if Jake had just admitted it. Tell Sig...you screw with my lines I'll screw with yours. The whole not answering the radio and then avoiding the direct answer was just another sign of Jake's lack of maturity. Even his rant about towards his friend was more whining. They've also been used in NCIS publicity more often this season as well. Usually, its been Micheal and Pauley who have done the lion's share of interviews. This year, Sean and Emily each have done several. Maybe it was just the lighting but it really looked like Mark Harmon's hair has crossed the line from silver into white. The hints about Tony's/Michael's departure have been there all season, its just that last night seemed the final arc began.

The right person left tonite. It struck me when watching that Antonio and Sharna have zero chemistry..whether it is simply Antonio's ego getting in the way or some other factor, they just don't seem to mesh. I was totally weirded out by Wayna dancing to the National Anthem. It really detracted from the dance. Ginger has new momitis....hopefully she will get over it soon..I doubt it though The Facts of Life foxtrot made me smile. Jodi is showing why she has the potential to win. Von was throwing Witney around like she was a doll. He comes across far more likeable than Antonio. Douh may have stumbled but I thought he came across as totally authentic which may save him next week. Nyle dances better than many who can hear the music. Marla is totally forgettable. Her daughter Tiffany sounds like her half sister Ivanka.

Sig had one goal with both this and the way the lines were being laid...."if you are the captain....act like the captain" A captain of the boat does not do the greenhorn jobs which painting the boat includes and he doesn't give away his fishing information over an open radio. I like Jake but man he can be annoying with all his whining. First thing he does when he finally gets to the fishing grounds is call someone looking for help. Jake will never truly succeed as a captain until he grows up and acts his age. I feel for Keith but I wonder if his personal issues interferred with getting the boat properly ready for the season. Jon..Jon..Jon...He did the right thing by confessing immediatly..don't really know if it was truly accidently though. I get the feeling Jon especially skirts those rules when he can. This time he got caught. Always drama with Wild Bill...looks like his kid has the same lousy ability in hiring as Dad does. So far I like the new kid....kind of the anti-Josh

The worst things you can be on this show are apathetic/whiney or forgettable. In Mischa we have the former. The crowd didn't even react well to that dance and zero loud boos at the critique....not a good omen. In Marla, we may have the latter. Her dance was nice...not great...not awful. Everyone else had a storyline going. All they could say about her was she ate and drank weird stuff. I don't think she has a big enough fan base to pull her through very long.

When Micheal Weatherly was on The Talk for the 300th episode, he implied they were currently filming with Robert Wagner so we may be seeing him again this season.
