Yeah, and I saw that being more of thought up last minute too. Al and Trudy were going to get married no matter what. We know plans changed when the show wasn't going to come back. Why there was so little time with Morgan set up and Tim and Company quitting Binford. I think they really wanted to see where Alma as a "monster-in-law" would have gone with Al and Trudy. But... we never saw it. In fact, we never really know what the relationship was between Alma and Trudy. We at least knew it between Ilene and Alma, but completely lost with Trudy. Plus, Alma fainted when Al and Ilene called things off. We really were to believe that the news that Al was going to get engaged and hopefully married a 2nd time was enough to kill her?

I remember when Katie's friend said; "good thing he has looks going for him, because otherwise he has NOTHING!" It's funny, Taylor can be trying to sneak in having sex with her boyfriend or go partying, but pull out a gas pump, crack and egg, empty out the garbage? Oh no, she sets things on fire. Same with Oliver, oh yes, straight A student, able to come up with almost super villain plans. Yet, always gets caught, or gets hurt or it costs him something he really cared about. Yet think is family are losers, he is dirt poor and can't wait to escape. Yeah, he wants to see Dirt Poor, I'll drop him off at a trailer park where they are happy if they can keep their propane tank filled when they want to feed their families or afford gas to get to work. Then, let's see what he thinks then. Plus, Spencer died alone and basically couldn't do anything past his front door. Yeah, such a life I would want because you know, I have millions. -
That's the thing, Junior has been "lying" about his plans. He has NO PLANS. He just keeps expecting to fall into something perfectly, same with Zoey. God forbid they work for it or realize that having high paying jobs has a dark side. Yet, they call Dre a sell out for how he gets treated and does stuff for his company. Yet, he and Bow have said many times and shown many times how hard they have had to work for it. Even if they someone help them get into a good school or job. They still work their asses off for it and still get treated like shit. Yet, both Junior and Zoey are: "Well, someone will see how awesome I am and hand it to me." No your idiots, aren't you getting that?

Right, I can get everything with both Greg and Katie because it makes sense where the characters went. Even having it where now Anna-Kat has majorly progress and while they don't need to stay in town for her anymore. They actually like the area and also closer for Greg's commute. However, that's where it stops. Taylor has fallen into the one who needs special needs help. It's like there is a carbon dioxide leak in her room. Plus, the actress can't sell it having her be THIS DUMB. Oliver, I think the writers honestly don't know what to do with him. They spent so much time trying to beat him over the head, that his family and life are fine. I mean killing off Spencer, having his girlfriend ditch him and now taking him out of dancing. While Anna-Kat said he is a sophomore and has PLENTY of time to decide what to do or other ways to get into Julliard or other related schools. I'm pretty much betting that the writers are going to call back into old habits with Oliver trying to do something stupid, that gets him caught. Cooper showing back up, showing how out of touch with reality he is with being rich and doing STUPID things. Plus, trying to make Taylor's boyfriend DUMBER than her gets to the point where you just want to go: "how do you two even know how to eat and breathe?" -
I think I see the plot, there is race the Federation has ignored that pretty much bidden its time between the Fall of the Romulus Senate and the retreat of the Dominion. Snuck people into key levels of the Federation and now they are striking. Still, Riker: "Stop yelling!" Was just gold.

Even Taylor's: "Wait, I feel better, now. I mean if I'm more together than a woman in her 20s with pig tails, I'm good." Anna-Kat: "I think you missed the point." Great come back, but seriously, I think the writers are at the point they are taking to Two and a Half Men stupidity at this point. I'm just waiting for Oliver to go: "I got it! I'll do like Felicity Huffmon and Lore Loghli and photoshop and bribe people so it looks like I do all these extra crap and get into Juilard!" Anna-Kat, that didn't work out for them, and they still had to pay a lot of money out." *Oliver thinks for a second* but I'm not them. Anna-Kat: "You know what, nice knowing you." -

Dear God! Enough with Taylor is so dumb, she only knows how to get dress. I mean, come on! That is just too painful and I get it, any woman where the Ottos live are evil, directive and ask for things that are not humanly possible, but this is too much! I get at least Greg's situation, he finally got what he wanted, but now realizes, maybe it isn't all it is cracked up to be. Anna-Kat and her BFF are the best thing on the show now. I wish Taylor and Oliver would drop off the face of the planet. -
Oh I know. I wanted someone to tell Baily when the patient could possibly die when she said: "What do you do?" I wanted another doctor to say: "I tell the patient's family you argued about personal problems trying to teach a doctor who was not ready for surgery that you let them die so they learned something." "Then they sue you!"

Right it's just the same plot from last year. Plus, Junior still... Does... not... get it! He has had his chance to find himself, build up on experience and rep and yet it's: "Oh, I need to have one big break and I'm set for life!" Oh... didn't you say that last year and why you were telling your siblings how: "I'll never have to go back to college again!" or how he told his family: "I've decided, not to go back to school and work." Yes, college isn't for everyone and so forth, but seriously dumb ass! Don't you get it! outside being a live in babysitter for the plot device that is your baby brother. YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING! Yet, expect to get some high paying job because you can't out talk people? Yeah, Dre and Bow are partially to blame, but damn... Junior has no concept at all.

This! I mean even in the flashbacks, she was talking about how much her life sucked back home with Jon at the airport bar. She has bad things happened to her, and instead of stepping up and dealing with them. She rather have someone else "fix it" for her. That includes even her affair with Eddie. Oh, her sex life and Jon spiraling into depression was so tough for her. Thanks for the wild secret nights of sex Eddie. Opps... I'm going to have your baby, guess I should have used birth control or told you I wasn't in menopause yet.

Yeah, Katie HAS reasons to stay now. Plus, if Taylor can continue to Forest Gump her way through her senior year. Why leave?
-
Right, I get that eggs can get screwed up. Been there myself, but this... was just beyond sad to the point, how does Taylor even know how to put her clothes on?
-
Trust me, when my wife and I got rid of ours 3 years ago. I was waving goodbye with a: "I hope you burst into flames you money sucking vehicle."
-
Right, I mean the show is in a good place to end now. Then again, they were pretty close last season and they didn't know if they were coming back or not. Yes, ABC was all about renewing and while the rest of the cast was: "Oh good, we have a job still." Constance is: "Oh come on!" "Our ratings aren't that good." "Just stop relying on old clothes and try taking chances on something else instead of running things into the ground." She sadly, didn't go about it diplomatically, but you can see the writing on the wall, the show is tired and is on fumes and the writers can't really do anything but;" The rest of the characters grow, even the grandma, but we must show that Jessica is a controlling asshole and even son #3 is starting to grow beyond it too." Yeah, we get it! You don't know what to do with the character. Just admit it.
-
Then you wonder why Wu was so upset the show was renewed. You can tell she is tired of playing the character and the other characters are tired of it too. Yeah, ABC, let the show die.

I agree, the twist was that PJ isn't Jon's child, but was really Jon's dead friend's child and that Jon kind of fell in love with Maggie and then suddenly was: "Oh no, I'm betraying my best friend." Then decided to not support Maggie and get up and leave. Which then would explain Barb's husband's anger and why Jon felt guilty about it. HOWEVER... PJ is pretty much aware that his mother's husband is not his bio dad. I get that after all of this, PJ is thinking that Jon was his dad and now not only finds out he is dead, but has two half siblings out there. The problem is, asshole fire fighting step dad is acting like PJ doesn't know this and seems to be pretty much blaming people that didn't even know that PJ or they existed. That all of this came about because of Jon's suicide and Delilah being a dumbass. So, the anger is not only misplaced, but seriously, Nash's wanting the "drama" with all of this is coming across as: "Seriously, just talk to these people and stop being pissed just to be pissed."

Yes, but she isn't the original twins who played Lily who hated playing the character after they were old enough to talk and understand lines. Of course, they have turned Lily into such a brat (of course look at Cam and Mitch). It just proves the show, while this is officially it's LAST season. Showed it should have ended last year instead of this upcoming May. Because the writers have proven, they don't have shit for stories and the twins was just an excuse to get more money out of ABC.

Then when it was found out and the reason why it wasn't done "Pro bono" is all of a sudden, St. Catherine, who always did it was all: "well it's too expensive and we can't do it." Never have her go: "Well, thanks to the word coming out about my former father in law and the sush money, it hurt are billions of dollars." Well, Catherine, don't still go walk around like you have money to spend like water and then all of a sudden get into: "Well, cancer surgery like this is expensive." That's a damn drop in the bucket for you and then how she said that Richard embarrassed her? How? When? Acts like it was national news. Maggie did more embarrassing with her slip on Richard and Elis affair than anything he has done recently. The story just reaks of bad writing and they wanted a reason to have everything end in a cliffhanger and then didn't go: "You know, this is pretty stupid even for us."
-
That's my point. It's not that his schemes are successful, but he is ALWAYS found out. If they had it where Oliver was taking steps to keep it from happening, then that's learning from his mistakes. Instead its: "This will work, and hopefully no one will find out." Yet he does things in such a public fashion, it gets back to his parents with a big: "Well, duh!"
-
I've pretty have HAD it with Taylor is so stupid she can't do anything. She has never been portrayed as someone who is: "I could be watching this youtube video on how to make a grilled cheese, but I'll watch the video of a dog having their head caught for 10 minutes and laughing about it even after I have seen it for the 100th time." Season 1 Taylor not book smart, but street smart was fine. Since season 2 she has been: "act first or... I'm so stupid I should have an aid with me all the time." It's like Daniel... I mean Oliver with: "I'm so poor, I want to do another get rich quick scheme that ALWAYS backfires on me." "Because I'm Oliver who is so smart, but yet so stupid at times on common sense and learning from my mistakes."
-
Exactly and there is not way that Delilah's now dead husband's secret life of possibly of having a son with the wife of his 9/11 killed best friend isn't going to do anything. She was not around for any of that drama and in fact what happened is what lead to the two of them getting together. Just like the mis anger of dead best friend's asshole firefighter husband. He is pissed at a dead man and is thinking trying to cover up their "son's" origins is to protect him? From what? He is a legal adult, he has seen the "secret tape" and so forth. Could there be drama meeting his half siblings? Of course, but at the same time, this was BEFORE their father met their mother. Having a kid before that, hey sadly been common for decades. OF COURSE... this will be all to make us feel bad for Delilah because she has to deal with all this drama. When the first fact is, she caused this with Eddie and the other HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH HER in the first place! But oh... poor Delilah and her half american accent! So tough being her.
-
I had no sympathy for him. I HATE IT! When creators say we are suppose to feel "sorry" for characters that have acted like assholes. Yes, Eddie is now feeling remorse for his half ass thinking. HOWEVER... the episode didn't make me think that or even several other previous episodes. It was like Christopher on Gilmore Girls, or Castle's exes on the show or even various characters on Greg Belanti's shows like: Everwood, Jack and Bobby and so forth. You never felt sympathy or it was extremely small, because not only did people NOT call them out on their behavior. The creators of those shows were: "see, don't you feel sorry for them?" Ummm... no because they are still acting that way and no one is telling them to GET OUT!

Even on Soul Man, Pastor Mike even pointed out to Al that he doesn't really have any friends. Pointing out that he shows up for Bingo with his mother and then he was hanging with his mother the other time. Even making a comment how they stop serving certain foods because Elma would leave nothing for anyone else. Al even got upset ONCE AGAIN that someone would dare say something about his mother's over eating and looks. Even if it was his pastor. Just some times you wanted to smack Al with a: "Would you just come to the realization, she pissing everyone off, I know you love her, but would you accept that she is an overweight and over bearing woman?"
-
I know, but also how everyone else is acting. I know people change over the course of 30 years, but part of me just doesn't see how Bow's family ends up the way they do by the time Black-ish starts.

Yeah, as time went on, never felt like Tim, Al or Jill had any friends. Something that I did like about the boys as they grew up. They actually showed they had friends and their girlfriends had friends. I get you can't pay a lot of extras and people, but shows like Boy Meets World, Frasier and even Friends you know, showed characters interacting with others and so forth. Shows like Home Improvement where you get episodes and you wanted to know: "What strange part of the world do you live where you go to stores and you are the only one there?" Or: "Don't you have anyone to hang out with?" The horrible "shoe store bully" episode aired last night and you see the shoe store manager standing there as Mark kicks the bully to the store room. Then he is magically gone, but you see an older woman sitting down watching the whole thing. Which really shows the entire part with Jill's: "Find an adult" argument is so stupid and even makes the episode come off with: "Hey remember folks, it was the late 90s, teachers just let students write horrible articles and people in their 50s will just let kids beat up others." Or same with the traffic ticket, Tim comes off sounding just as bad and why was Tim so obsessed with the "monkey" music that season?
