  1. Right, Andy has all the right to be upset and let's face it when Maya does find out what the main reason was. She is going to be pissed off too. Andy seriously got screwed and really, it's "dump on Andy" with life right now. Ryan is dead, her father is dying, her mother is also dead. Who she thought was her best friend got the job she SHOULD have had. Wait until she finds about about Sully's nerve damage and later WHY she didn't get the job. She is going to lose it! Speaking of Vic's "argument", how much do you want to bet this will figure into her own flashback. Since, she is the only one who hasn't had one yet, and has talked so much about how her parents were so engulfed in their business, she just raised herself and WHY she has so many relationship problems. I'm sure we will find out her parents always argued over stupid things, and just didn't talk about what the problems were.
  2. I agree, nothing is making sense. Something about past actors who have left the show or were written or killed off. There was either clashes between the actor and TPTB, the TPTB just getting tired of writing the characters or something else that just came out of left field with a: "You'll never work in this town again" attitude. With Justin, it just seems to have just happened. He left the show, the writers scrambled and are giving us a: "Well you bastard, biting the hand that fed you for 16 years." No one has said anything.
  3. Reminds me of years ago on the Desperate Housewives. Person killed his doctor to not spoil his plan to kill Mike because he blamed him for the death of his family in a car accident. He took his cell phone and then just text the secretary: "I'm fine, talk to you in a few weeks." Umm... who was paying her checks in those weeks? People were asking and calling to talk to the doctor and she just kept going: "Well, he's out of town." Doesn't try call him and getting more straight answers and so forth. Plus, if she worked so long with him, she would have realized something was wrong. We are getting that SAME writing here. Given his family's mental history, finding out he never showed up to his mother's. It's like how Meredith took the kids and disappeared for over 7 months without anyone knowing where she went or anything. As many people said: "How was she paying for things?" How did the kids not go: "Mom, why did we leave all our friends?" Just we were to be just: "Well, her husband died, give her time." The hell? Now, with Alex, it's like when Jo was having her "problems" finding out about her birth mother. Yet, no one didn't go: "What the hell is wrong with you?" Instead of letting Alex go crazy and Jo falling more and more into depression (though it made no sense).
  4. I do feel back for Jack too, especailly when he said: "I deserve this." However, WHY THE HELL is Ringo still staying with her? He knows she pulls this crap and yet he acts like: "La La La my marriage is great!" He's a door stop for her. I'm sorry, you don't have kids, she has been NOW revealed to do this crap. Yet, you are staying married to her? Why? Damn bear, why didn't you take Eva out last week. So, why are Vic and Jackson fighting? They seem to just be in an argument and no reason? Just that Vic is mad, Jackson isn't sure why. TALK VIC! Didn't Ripley dying last season teach you to you know... communicate? Poor Andy, I'm waiting for her to be on anti-depresants, seriously her becoming Captain would have had her fall into something. Now, with Ryan dead, Pruitt dying and Sully going through chronic nerve and possible addiction. I'm waiting for her to just booze herself to death.
  5. After they have hammered it into everyone's head he will die in the hospital before he retires since the series began. I'm wondering if it is more on the actor's part then anything, he just doesn't want to get up and leave like Justin did. Speaking of which, seriously, what a horrible way to get rid of Alex, but reminds me when Tim Daley left Private Practice. He wanted off, and then decided they weren't going to give him a simple exit. So, they had it where he magically had a heart attack after spending several episodes saying he wouldn't have a major one again. Fell off a bridge and no one recognized him and no one blinked an eye when he didn't show up for work or return Violet's calls. Then she found out and it was so bad of a fall, his face was unrecognizable. I remember Tim Daley saying in an interview: "Couldn't I just died in a car accident or plane crash?"
  6. Watching the Season 5 premiere this weekend, yep there was the switch of Jill to being more like Fred. Granted, Tim was trying to shove too much into the weekend for the Jill's cousin wedding. However, this proved so much about Jill's family. NONE of the boys want to see them, also apparently they see this family SO MUCH, no one can remember who is who. Plus, the cousin Judy who shows up in their room and is just SO DARN HAPPY to see them. Shows they barely have seen them, when her father has been dead for ten years. Also, NOTHING was stopping Jill from going with Tim and the boys to the outings. Half the time she didn't want to be the "other events" and was avoiding them half the time. Now, the ski jump is completely Tim's fault, but as he also points out, why didn't Jill just let go of the rope? Plus, later on NO ONE from Jill's parents to sisters are at the wedding. Apparently, Jill was a favorite, because she didn't want to invite anyone else.
  7. No disagreement there, but really, all they needed was a signed that said: "School only, not associated with Bud's Buds."
  8. The more I read this, the more I not only laugh, but also AS-P really didn't know how to work a budget. I mean she drop everything if an actor was free even if it has NO POINT to the current stories or anything. Or how they never signed actors who were popular to a contract and then get upset or left glaring holes that the actors weren't there. Kind of like how we got Zach and Lane together because Adam went on to do The OC and originally he enjoyed being on Gilmore Girls, but AS-P wouldn't give his agent a solid answer if he would stay on the show. So, he went and auditioned for OC and then of course worked regularly for five years. Makes you wonder how AS-P ever became a show runner when she was blowing money the way her husband and her did and drove shows into the ground when: "I want it this way, and you better like it or stop watching!" Oh I get it, she was the "real" Mrs. Kim.
  9. That's where the confusion was. They had it where SOMEONE was trying to make Vanessa look bad. So, "special bake sale" instead of just a plain bake sale for the school. It also made Ryan look even more stupid. Since he should have been: "Well, hole on a second Jen, you might not want to sell this here." "Go to ODM where everything would be fine." Or even more where Vanessa should have said: "Jen, that's not the place to do it." Plus, the school would also "know better" but once again. A TV showing that people who work at schools are just morons. You have to "approve" where a bake sale happens for any organization. Ryan and Kristin going: "Oh sure not problem." However, the school would have been: "Wait, bake sale, in front of a legal marijuana store for a state approved organization, hold on a second!" Not just a set of cheap jokes designed to make everyone look stupid and more reason they should dump the exchange student.
  10. Oh I know. Being a teacher myself, I HATE IT! When TV shows or movies portray a teacher as some aloof moron. Of course, it's been a pet peeve for years when I see stuff like that. I don't know what writers when they do this. It's NOT FUNNY at all. I mean, that person be out of a job real fast. Something that I hated in Spider-Man Far from Home. Was the two teachers in the movie, yes. They are well known comedians and they are funny, but given their dialogue and: "Duh! Which way did they go George!" personalities in the movie. I was like: "No school would put these two guys in charge of anything, especially a European trip." I really wish shows would just stop! I mean are their teachers out there that are bad? Yes, I've worked with them. However, you get more teachers who have more of a: "I've been teaching fine all these years and I'm changing." or the: "Get over yourself kid, I'm not caving into you like your parents." Since the show started, all the teachers have done some really, stupid, stupid stuff. Cam actually has ACTED like a real teacher, even if he does have things about himself. Yet, how did that go? They stuck his office in a broom closet and the school board keeps sticking him in situations, they know he will screw up because he has to make things about him when push comes to shove.
  11. The only problem is that Jen is under legal guardianship of the Baxters, and despite legal marijuana in Colorado, the Exchange Program would send her packing because of handing that. As they say: "Just because a state is doing something legal, doesn't mean others still view it as wrong."
  12. It has problems on all fronts. First of all, the kid playing him is not the best actor (of course few kid actors are). The second, Nash and the writers keep trying to give him dialogue and actions thinking he is great. The second problem is they then counter it all with all of Theo's "problems". I mean, seriously the kid gets nose bleeds just with one ounce of frustration? He has night terrors where he is clearly awake and acting like he is reading his lines from a cue card. Then you have Eddie and Katherine talking to Eddie about broken vows, affairs, ect, yet they won't deal with the elephant in the room and that's Eddie's drinking problems. Which, sorry, by the time I was 7 I knew about my father's actual drinking problems and he just celebrated 32 years sober this week. Reason that happened when his second marriage three years later ended and he lost his job and later apartment. He decided to get his act together after that. Celebrated 1 year when I turned 10 and pretty much told me what lead him to all those years. Here with Eddie "WE DON'T KNOW THE DAMN REASON!" and the fact that the "sister is talking to them again." How about they ACTUALLY talk to Theo on WHY their marriage went south and about Eddie's past and how much he was the factor why Eddie has not gone back to drinking all these years. It might you know, make sense and stop giving Theo this crap look like he is about to murder people.
  13. Right the water or being angry at his daughter and not speaking to her at dinner, but his downright of ignoring and then demoralizing her like that. You could see he does it to everyone, especially when the brother was: "Wait you are talking to me?" Or how the mother just kind of just took it. That's verbal abuse.
  14. Man, Maya's father was a cliche: "You need to always win." Asshole wasn't he. The dinner scene was just painful and hard to watch. As much as I have been enjoying the flashbacks with the characters, I was hoping Maya's would not be so cliched. Plus, at the beginning when the text was: "Go get them captain!" Then we saw everything, I mean apparently they have a good relationship now, or are they trying to say that Maya still seeks her father's approval? Least we now get the entire Olympic back story too. Oh, great idea doing a camping trip when over half the staff doesn't know how to camp. My wife and I were shouting for the bear to attack Eva. Tells you how horrible the story has been.
  15. Yeah, this isn't "woman empowerment" it makes Amelia look like a down right moron. Also, so the big reveal now on DeLuca's sister is she was making sure her brother wasn't going bi-polar, which now seems like he is. Because she saw their father do that? What about their mom in this entire process? She knew it happened too? Oh, and of course Deluca's sister can sense other bi-sexual woman at a bar who seem depressed. Because they have special "bi radar". Just like all gay men have to have hot passionate sex in secret at work. Plus, the more they try to give excuses why Alex is gone. The more they make it not only come off glaring, but also throwing Alex under the bus for dumb reasons. We got it writers, you are mad someone went: "I just want to be off the show." Writers; "How dare you bite the hand that feeds you, you will never work in this town again!"
  16. That's exactly it! This isn't like a graduation or wedding or something. It's like others pointed out about Phil's dad dying. Why aren't the kids dealing with that? That was their other grandfather. I got Claire's anger over the RV. However, for the love of God, woman. It was you now dead father-in-law's. Even if it was falling apart, I could see why Phil would have a problem getting rid of it. Yeah, so bring back up a story line for Cam and Mitch that is 6 years old. Sure, why not? Sending him off to Missouri that you have pounded in the ground about Cam wanting to go back wouldn't made sense. Seriously, how bad and then it's a clip show twist? Why?
  17. Right, it was: "Well, here is what we are going to do, but who CARES how it happened." I'm sorry, as a high school teacher, even people who "don't like to talk" or say so little. You see the COMPLETE opposite when they are with their groups of friends. You go: "Well I know they talk and must in order for people to you know, get to know you." Ronny only words were: "Sure." "Yeah." Laugh and stare and then be: "We should!" Yet, Mark could talk with anyone from limited to constant words. Yet, we are expecting he was Mark's "only friend". It was kind of how Brad had "smooth" Jason for a while. Least with the parties and Brad was interating with other kids his age. Same with Randy and Lauran. However, Mark you just had Ronny and later Jill's professor's stepson. I mean, they didn't even pretend that Mark knew people unless he was interested in a girl or something. Except for the first few seasons from boy scouts to the school play or church children's choir. Mark had like NO FRIENDS EVER.
  18. Oh look, instead of just saying: "I don't want to come to your crappy children's play." They just all try to dodge it. The twins like sadistic things, shocking since their parents are so air headed. Lily's: "Did I tell you I'm adopted." line was perfect.
  19. Yeah, some things Tim did were just... really stupid even for him. As for Al all of sudden the writers felt they wouldn't be able to write Al married so they broke them up and then really, his character drifted and don't get me started on that extremely stupid Tim has to "pretend" to be single so Al feels confident to date. I know the writers kind of came to their senses and then brought in Trudy so Al could get married and they felt it was going straight through. however, Alma dying was never the original plan as up until January of the final season, they didn't know it was going to be the LAST season for the show. Al and Trudy were always meant to get married at the end of the season and then just brought it together to wrap up the series with the wedding. I don't get some writers/producers who go: "We can't write married characters" or think they should just throw a story in like: "Let's break these characters up." Or "hey how about a baby late in life." When they have NO IDEA what to do with the story, just the classic: "let's see where it goes." Which is what happened with Goth Mark. All of sudden, they just got tired of it, and of course the actor who played Ronny was kind of thrown out after the pot episode. So, I think that also didn't help because they would have to bring Ronny back or just go: "Well, one less actor to pay". Who knows at this point, but they got tired of it and soon Mark was magically fine when the new season started again. But poor Tim, gave up NASA and the fact that even before that, Jill said Tim was going to pay for going into space and training. Yeah Jill, one in a life time opportunity, so sure he has to pay. Why?
  20. 6-8 are just odd writing, there are still many episodes, but it seemed to be more of: "Jill is mad at something and EVERYONE must know it and resolve it HER way." Or "Tim and Al are fighting over really, really stupid reasons." They started giving Heidi stories that didn't fit into any context of the show. Her and Marty's "marriage problems" were based on Patricia Richardson's marriage breaking up. But in a "dramatic" way. Don't get me started on Goth Mark. Randy and Laura's stories were great. However, Wilson got to the point he seemed to not know how a toaster worked.
  21. Yes, it seems Justin just wanted to leave and be done with it. Of course it also shows the strength of the writing on the show because they can't write themselves out of a corner in any shape and now have Alex doing things "off screen" that make even less sense.
  22. Funny is how we see the nurse crying when she realizes she isn't getting hired back. I wanted to go: "Were these the people where they just stood in line and got their degrees" since they hit us over the head all season these nurses and doctors were just plain stupid. I would have loved Koracik going: "Where the hell did you learn to take a pulse?" "You had 20 patients die on your watch in 2 days." "How were you even allowed to work here?" Instead it had to be: "I'm going to make you suffer again Owen, for the 100th time, because you took MY woman from me."
  23. Especially when Christina had only ONE ovary left after her elploic pregnancy with Burke. I'm also tired that everyone just "falls" for Owen like he is God's gift to women. The birth control is one thing, but you get people on this show going at it. Never seem to worry about getting preggers and then when it does happen they are like: "What? How?"

    S01.E01: Pilot

Seemed like drugs that made even less sense. Especially, when he had a good job and family at home. Then it was: "Send him up the river!" You get 16 year olds who are repeat offenders more leave way.
  25. The problem with Korinick is it's getting grating. Plus, I also want someone to point out: "And has Teddy come crawling back to you?" Plus, it also puts the entire "Owen might be the daddy" story line again as just crap. Everyone seems to love Owen, but you know, the GENERAL AUDIENCE. Move on. Wish McKidd would go: "I'm done, hey Justin wait up!"
