  1. Yeah and he was in a horrible position and of course when he admitted they had a younger sister. He realized he had really kicked Jack while he was down. Honestly, it was very realistic and well written and acted. Hell, I've seen true stories of something happening like that. Parents had baby when they were teens, but did later end up together and as one couple said: "We figured it out, but you figure it out a lot faster at 25 than you do at 15."
  2. I remember years ago both Weaton and DeLance said outside of The Q and the Gray, they never really had any scenes together. They apparently did hang out outside the show and even made jokes. Especially after the Travler episodes, which I don't remember DeLance's real reply because it was years ago in a magazine. "Seems like the Traveler was the anti-Q". The season was really a mix bag for me. Loved the final moments between Picard and Q and Rios got some real closure. Plus, the Borg situation honestly took them in a new place that was long, long overdue for the characters who became one note. I was happy to see Weaton though, so at least next season will be the last. This was just such a muttle season and trying to also play nice with continuity, especially at the end with the Khan File.
  3. No kidding. I know how sadly Andy feels. I have been denied promotions most of my professional life for people who: "Well, they have been here longer." or "Well, you have the experience and shown true leadership skills, but you will be miserable in the job." I mean the track recorder for ALL the captains on this show have had so much trauma and then some. Why is Andy that different? Or yeah, she is the main character, instead of having her get the job and dealing with the trauma and drama of being a captain and her history. Nope, just you "aren't ready" for it. I get what the show is doing. It's showing current politics and how people do this crap and then look the other way or just go: "Well, that's just how the world is." But it's so forced it's just bad. I mean the writers are forcing it ALL the time with Dixon to keep him on the show for you know... reasons! The actor is also so one note.
  4. Exactly! Plus, considering that Leo really doesn't get his "origins" that doesn't really factor into things. Unless of course his mother was using during the pregnancy and that could have effected how his brain and developed. However, as I said earlier, when a 3 year almost 4 year old wants to be an owl. You do it, but of course you say: "Well, the toilet is your tree for the bathroom." Of you serve hotdogs and say: "it's a nutritionist meal for a young growing owl." Or course the fact that Leo not only got a pink hat with matching boots. Has long curly hair and a narrower face like some girls that age are. What? Did Leo magically get money or did grandma bought the outfit for his sister to "grow into them" and Leo is: "I'm a cowgirl! Like Jessie in Toy Story!" Plus the fact LONG CURLY hair. So, what they can't go to the hair stylist? Or since the show started these surgeries all magically know how to give haircuts because "they have to keep their skills up to date." Yeah, cutting hair and knowing how to cauterize and reattach limbs are NOT THE SAME SKILL SET!
  5. Not only this, but the entire story with Leo is not only forced, but how Teddy is reacting to it and how Owen is the voice of reason makes it even more stupid. Hell, really it's one of two things: 1. Leo thinks like that and would rather be a girl. 2. He is jealous of his litter sister and feels if he is a girl he will get more attention.
  6. Oh I agree, I was in the same boat when the episode originally aired. Not to mention the fact, people were so disappointed that Bobby wasn't getting trampled. I mean what? Plus, the entire stealing the rival team's mascot. Which is really a crime. I remember a classic episode of Full House when Danny and Joey tried to steal "back" their Greek Houses item that was stolen years ago by a Sorority. They not only stop him, one of the woman pulls out a badge and arrests them for taking it. Both Bob Saget and Dave Colie and critics went: "Wait! They stole it over a decade ago and this woman is going: 'stealing is bad when you get caught'." When A: They stole it first. B. That is a crime to steal from another house. C. The Sorority then blames them for stealing something that wasn't theirs to begin with. That's the classic: "Why do you make me hit you?"
  7. The show is touching on something that is sadly way, way too common today. That they blame the victim, especially if it's a woman who decided to fight back. Even Sir Patrick Stewart just posted on social media how he is standing with victims of violence to women and children. Since, he sadly experienced it himself at the hands of his father and even the police at the time tried to blame it on his mother. Andy getting turned into a pariah and of course showing just how shitty the Seattle Police are? Check. Heavy handed, but still making a statement. Check. Will Andy probably move on and next season it will be forgotten or just referenced at times. Check.
  8. See, she could have done the letter to the accreditation board, the BIG problem is, while it is suppose to stay "anynamous" just one out of nowhere write up, even if well detailed would cause a red flag. Would there be an inquiry? Oh for sure, but when you see social media on one person and sadly, this is the show taking current status of misinformation and how someone can start some trend, no matter how far fetch it is and people believe them. It paints Levi's mother as a moron and takes helicopter parent to another level. Him even explaining how making mistakes and experimenting is what medican is all about. She goes on her high horse on things comes across as: "not my poor little baby!" Then how they were interviewing just the doctors and in front of patients, the Pacific North Medical Ethics would have been on their asses.
  9. On this show they are except for Ryan. Every cop on Station 19 either has: a secret agenda, a vendetta against someone or someone in the fire department, does the most stupidest reaction to something and just like this: "Well, maybe you provoked the assault, and you could have just said 'no"."
  10. The main problem of this was Beckett running everyone until someone confessed. Yeah, point of "anonymous" tip is how it remains. I mean if say an EMT that didn't work for 19 constantly saw this and on a report trip found the bottle filing reports (because who would leave a bottle in a place most likely to be gone through several times). Then they keep going until they pass out, oh that would look SOOOO Good to the Chief. I could see her now: "So, yes we were wrong about you possibly drinking even though observations said other wises. However, you then retaliating against your team until someone said something? Get your ass out of here you are on paid leave for the time being. If you don't like talk to the City Council and maybe you can get set back in 2 weeks. I'm the Chief, get your ass out of here!"
  11. That's exactly it! All Owen had to say was: "Well, who was going to take care of these patients? I can only get around so much because of my accident. I can just do paper work! You seem to act like you know how it works around here. Put on some scrubs, help out and shut up!" Should have been his line. Plus, hey if it's "anonymous" complaint. I do like over in Station 19 and just have all residents run around the parking lot until they almost threw up until they confessed who was the "snitch". Of course, that was also extremely stupid!
  12. Yes, it wasn't done very well. Plus, considering how long she had not heard from him or how he was behind in rent. She has several opportunities to just do a county: "Are you OK" check. Not only was it heavy handed, but also did the classic: "asshole landlord" who is kind of old cliché.
  13. Tell the father she is pregnant? Why do that? I mean, drama, right? Drama!
  14. Schmidt has had a mental break down, but just like in good old Grey's capacity it's: "Oh he'll be fine." I mean come on! The man not only had a major hit, but he is a wreck and given his track record. Everyone is: "Well help him, but not me... too busy." I mean if he tries to commit suicide and everyone is: "how did we let this happen." That is very bad writing.
  15. Plus, we pretty much know the father is. So, he would want to keep the baby, but at the same time. You really do wonder what this will do to Vic since her parents were so: "We have to secret support you, but always be out of the apartment from dealing with child raising and grandma's demtia because you know, reasons."
  16. Why I started disliking the character, you could never trust her. Like I said up thread, she ended up reminding me of a former coworker of mine and then I was just turned off from the character.
  17. Sadly, I had been in Mark's spot a lot in various jobs. One minute someone has your back and then they change their stance right as the situation unfolded. Once I was suppose to be nominated as the new assistant manager after working at the place two years. I was told by the outgoing assistant and the other crew leader I was to be the new assistant. Right there the crew leader said they wanted to be the assistant as they had been crew leader it was the next line for them and they previous had more leadership experience than me. The other agreed and when they got the position, all hell broke loose. I quit a year later and the district manager realized I had been keeping the company afloat the past two years and that everyone had me managing them because the person who got the promotion was on mini-Hitler mode and everyone was miserable. I left and the new general manager at the time realized I had been doing all of her work and she in a huff quit because the district manager was going to fire her and later apologized to me because of what happened to me. Even offered me to return and I just told them "no and good luck." The place was bought out a year later.
  18. There were a lot of nods to Star Wars Rebels where we saw the Dark Sabre last. Callen told how the dark saber had to guide you until you were one with it. Otherwise you cannot handle it right. I do agree though, Mando is the better fighter and after the Armorer told them of the story on how to reunite the clans and redeem himself. Well, like I said, all set up for season 3 of Mando.
  19. I agree, I talked to a former student of mine who is now 17 year. She looks like her aunt, but outside the hair color and nose, I would never recognize her.
  20. Great episode and I agree, the duel was a bit underwealming. You could tell they were placing what the plan will be for Season 3 of The Madelorian from how Djin can get back into the good graces of the tribe. Moff Gideon still being a problem and the new starfighter. I even loved the knodd to Episode 1 talk.
  21. Apparently hasn't watched Dr. Strange or Spider-Man: No Way Home.
  22. Something I find interesting about Kenny and his older brother who was in juvey. These were good kids, Kenny's brother sadly wanted to be part of the "bad crowd" since their dad is active military and the mother seems to cast herself in work. More so now that Kenny's brother is in lock up for probably another year. Sadly, Kenny's bother put himself in the wrong situation that apparently got someone killed. Then he went into the: "Be the tiger or get eaten, but don't snitch." While Kenny was just the new kid and those assholes that Anthony hung with were: "hey let's make this kid's life horrible, just because he's the new kid." Until Kenny beat the shit out of all of them. While Kenny perfect explained to Anthony what he felt like and paying him back. That moment with the smile and Robbie seeing what had happened. That was well done. Hell, all these young actors are good, I really like the new Eagle Fang girl. She knows she lost, but she will do better next time. She isn't a quitter and Johnny really liked that.
  23. Yeah, I mean setting up a girl in your class's a "fake account" getting water ballons set up in lockers with cameras that apparently don't work. Then being in the right spot to film and then share on social media constantly. Yeah, WAY too much time.
  24. Oh God! That will be fantastic and even have him go: "I didn't think I had any life and I almost killed myself... but you don't have to go there."
  25. No kidding, I was on debate too, this was all set up, but then again to see how both the Middle School and High School run things from the previous 3 seasons it doesn't surprise me. Just like how Kenny's locker was filled with all that crap and NO ONE saw it until it was on Tik Tok? You could see the damn camera in the corner.
