  1. They have really just trashed Vanessa's character to the point where neighbors think she would kill a cat which not only did she spray with a garden house. Also did it because its coming into her yard and she is hugely allergic too. The entire Mandy Kyle thing was just horrible and it is like the writers are setting up their break up even after defending them and saying how great they are for each other. Can't Kyle get one win? I mean he bends over backwards for Out Door Man yet he is still just a senior employee, not even a manager of anything. Makes ziltch! He has a good relationship with Kirstin but then they break up because Kyle feels she is moving on to better things yet with the rewritten history, Kristin did it because Kyle wouldn't have been good for Boyd. Now Mandy decides to do a free pass for a Vegas weekend and she is the one who decides to take advantage of it. I mean come on, stop kicking the guy when he is down. Would they make up their minds? Either Mike and Chuck can be friends or not. Even the "black jokes" were back, come on, it's not funny. Don't get me started on the Safe Haven jab, that joke was insulting and cruel not funny. So basically Mike, a woman who can't figure things out and has no environment to raise a child has to be stuck with it but a guy who leaves his family and pays nothing to their child or vice versa is fine? So, writers you are trying to basically say: "Get over Ryan being a douche, he is staying."
  2. No, he quit the nanny job to work with Phil because he wants to be a Realestate agent because he doesn't want to be the live in guy anymore. He wants a career now. But it's true, if he is Phil's assistant now, he should be shown regularly unless Phil isn't working of course they really have Realestate world really mixed up now.
  3. I think Gould has just become one of those teen actors that had the fit early in the series and now has either stop trying or due to both changes in his age and other factors kind of lost some of what makes Luke who he is. I mean, they covered this with Manny last year saying how people find Manny's antics more acceptable now instead of Luke constantly being annoying and so oblivious to things at times. Not that Manny isn't still annoying to adults and even Gloria is now admitting Manny acts very oblivious now and it has been annoying her for years. Luke's recent venture of peaking at the neighbor girl and being caught was pretty normal in my opinion even if it had its problems. I had a girl from school years ago who liked to go tanning outside their house which was on my old bike route when I was heading to the park in middle school. One day she told me to stop riding by and I admitted yes I would look over because she was attractive but I decided to stop. Found out a few weeks later she was doing it on purpose because she liked the attention it brought her from guys like me and two of her neighbor boys who were in the same school as us. Luke wanting to do something else instead of hanging out with Phil was very normal but where they went with Luke feeling replaced by Andy was too much. Andy has reached the point where he is so one note. He's super nanny but has a very destructive relationship with that girlfriend of his. Then making him Phil junior is a lot worse. I would have no problem if Andy decides to ditch everyone to go with his on again, off again girlfriend and never be heard from again.
  4. Exactly, truth be told, I work for a private school. Not a Chilton by any means but I also commute over a half an hour from the school and many staff members volunteer for school events and fundraisers. However, they understand if some people both parents and staff have other commitments such as work, distance, ect. and they don't guilt you by those reasons.
  5. Exactly! They wanted Stella and Jay didn't but fell in love with Stella and they went into: "Burn her!" "Let her die!" Why? I agree, Haley would be perfect for Axl, they always think of themselves and only have rare breakthroughs about others. As I have said, Haley has turned back into a mooching 16 year old not a 21 year old who is trying to get her life together.
  6. After the out of place argument between Mandy and Kristin last week and then to see Mandy giving a classmate a chance just was way out of place. I'm sorry, free pass or not, Mandy should know that Kyle would never do anything and for Mandy to do this after basically saying she loved Kyle last week. Just doesn't work. The entire cat situation was just over the top, of course they would think Vanessa killed the cat. Because she shot it with the hose. I'm sorry, something about people who treat animals as the neighborhood pet, there are those who don't or just can't. Vanessa could have done a lot worse than hit it with a hose and thinking she was seeing things. What? Does Vanessa have a history of making crap up like Ryan or Eve as they go? No. This is two episodes that make no sense because the stories are all out of whack. Even worse with the neighbor who destroyed their mailbox who just happened to be wearing a giant cat sweatshirt really thought no one would see her? Really?
  7. Another great episode. So, that is why Cristela didn't finish law school earlier and ended up living with the sister. It all makes sense now.
  8. And miss mocking how stupid the things that Taylor wanted to vote on and then feel like an idiot when she helped fuel the fire. Never.
  9. I agree, everyone is so hateful the last couple of years. Don't get me started on Cam and Mitchell about how much they have turned into a very hateful couple. As I said with Haley, it was just way too 16 year old high school with her dorky little sister around. To be truthful, why couldn't Alex drive herself? She can drive, it wasn't like Phil was doing anything? I got where Claire was coming from with the employees but I was on her side the entire episode. She wasn't in full shrew mode this episode. Gloria and Haley came off as so angry at everyone like the smallest thing ruins their perfect little worlds. Another thing, why was Gloria even wearing that cream? She talked about how she loved it but what was it really for? Especially if neither Jay nor Manny noticed it until Stella was out of the house. If it was the cream it might be that Joe has an allergy to roses or similar organic materials. The cream might have caused the break out since Gloria was touching Joe after putting it on. However, that means the kid has allergies to to more than just organic cream that smells like roses. As I said earlier, this is where Joe would be getting allergy tests. Not just the doctor going: "Get rid of the dog and if that fixes things, ok." Instead of: "Well, could be the dog or something he is eating or touching or your or your husband is touching." That's why even kids who have severe allergies to everything that grows are tested to see what really effects them because you can't just say: "Take the kid off of milk and he'll be fine." Just because it might seem a kid is lactose and tolerant doesn't mean they couldn't have related allergies to other types of foods or process. There be under line allergies and sometimes one is major and another is minor. As I said with Manny, he might have a minor allergy to dogs but nothing that could interrupt his regular life. Means when he leaves the house, he is out of that allergy creating environment and is fine once he leaves or if he goes outside for a while. Yet he was on the Anti-Stella train with Gloria.
  10. Oh I agree, ASP's sense of conflict was either way over the top or she didn't want to do it. I remember when Jackson yelled at Lorelai for using Luke to fill in for Sookie why she was on bedrest. It didn't come off as someone defending his wife it came off like a complete jerk who didn't know the whole story. Also, when the doctor says bed rest, that includes not going on a go cart train to check in on them. She is lucky she didn't have the baby right there and then. It wasn't funny, it came off as a woman obsessed who put her baby and herself in danger.
  11. Exactly! If it was that Gloria was hating that Jay became a dog obsessed owner and hated that fact, then I can understand that. Instead she comes off as hoping that no one is looking, stabbing Stella and then hiding the body. Its not funny.
  12. It wasn't a bad episode its just I feel like Haley has completely regressed back to High School now. She isn't a 21 year old trying to get her life together. She is worried about her phones, friends, telling her sister she is a loser and mooching off her parents. I thought the phone call was was done both during and after but Haley comes off as a complete stupid moocher now. I do agree though, Alex's first outfit look like she was going hiking not to a college interview. Please have Alex stop dressing bad, she just because she has a high IQ doesn't make her that oblivious as the interview showed. She just takes it to far when she switches strategies. Really, I hate Luke, Andy Phil right now its just bad. Both the acting and the way the stories work. Also, getting rid of Stella would not have been the first option. There would have been minor allergy testing on Joe first and they would have tried a non rashed area and done the test. If it would have reacted, there is the dog allergy. Other wise, its like Gloria is trying to think of reasons to get rid of Stella no matter what and why did she need that cream? As for Manny, he probably has a minor dog allergy and why his eyes and breathing are a bit out of wack but it comes off like Jay just wishes Manny was ran over by a car. Where is the caring he use to have?
  13. Ok, so can Merideth's new sister be any more pathetic? "I can't sleep with someone next to me." "I had this great guy but since I can't have him in bed he left me and married someone else who could." Yeah, one cat away from crazy. Ok, I can get there are people like this but guess what, why some couples have two beds and still enjoy marriage. We get it, your other halves are gone and you are alone in bed. Why you go out partying and drinking why your kids are watched in 24 hour daycare or by nannies. Yes, Avery has the MFH with her super religious morals because that wasn't beyond heavy handed? The tumor and 3D printing was fantastic but the rest, just end the show.
  14. See and that would have been perfect. I know that David Sutcliff was busy shooting I'm with her but really a simple card, basket, gift, ect. would have been plenty and saying: "Busy with your little sister but I'm proud of you." or something to that effect.
  15. I was a fan of Rory and Paris's roommates in season 4 and I hated how they were just gone the following season. They really brought something different to the show and still had their quirks. I enjoyed that when they talked about Lane being there it made sense or Paris hiding her relationship and breaking up with Jaime. Telling her she just hates the fact she can't have things both ways. These were characters that told it how it is, brought something different for the show and could have really gone places after season 4. Yet... they were ditched to bring up things with Logan and the LADB and Rory's ill relationship with Dean and later breakdown.
  16. True but the silent phone calls like a stalker or a guy who doesn't know how to talk to a girl on the phone like he was 13 still was just too much. As you pointed out, Jess ended up being a complete idiot by the time he left. Not to mention flying back into town to get his broken down car after his mom called to tell him his uncle had it hidden in his shack by the diner was also too much. Many times he could have snuck in and looked for it or even wrote a letter to Luke saying: "Can I come get my car?"
  17. Two more things that just upset me at the end of season 3 with Rory graduation. Christopher is no where around? Are you kidding me? Yet he shows up up perfectly fine in season 7 for her graduation at Yale and never once goes: "Wish I wouldn't have missed her HS graduation." Then there was Jess silent phone calls. Those were just so stupid, I get he was kind of upset what he did and everything but his final scene should have been: "You're right, I'm sorry, if that means anything. Congratulations and I hope one day you can forgive me. Goodbye." No, instead Jess just looks dumbfounded on the pier by the pay phone next to his dad's food shack and then hangs up the phone silently to walk back off to the TV series that was never going to happen.
  18. Season 2 was my favorite because we had the tone of the series now. Even with Jess being brought in as the new "bad boy" I always felt his introduction and use kept far from the cliche storylines as done before. Season 3 is next due to it wrapping up the first three years and getting the show ready for the next chapters such as: Rory going to Yale, Lorelai and Sookie with the Dragonfly and kind of a nice moment between the Gilmore Clan at the end. That said, season 3 also has it's major problems such as getting things with Dean and Jess sent "off" due to the showrunners weird ideas of things. The 75k situation which I thought was majorly contrived way for Rory who would have a scholarship or other universities asking for her to attend after graduating at the top of her class at Chilton or Luke running off to get married on the cruise, when Nicole wasn't that great to begin with. Also, Christopher should have been at his daughter's graduation! Season 2 hit all the right marks and even the ending with Christopher running off due to Sherry getting pregnant. It was a nice and settle end to the season and a cliffhanger that really worked. Otherwise seasons 1, 4 are nice but 5 is goes south to fast. Season 6 is a disaster and season 7 they tried to end on a nice note.
  19. One huge annoying nitpick since we are talking about the post graduation Europe trip was on how Rory didn't qualify for anytype of aide or the fact she didn't get a scholarship. She was the valedictorian for Chilton after she was a transfer coming in mid high school. There would have been tons of other colleges asking for her, she even got 4 acceptance packages from Harvard, Yale, Princeton and I forgot the other. The main fact she didn't: "Your mother and sole provider was just given 75K from a land investment your grandfather purchased when she was barely a month old." Complete BS! First of all, that sale wouldn't have had any influence on Lorelai or Rory until the following tax year. Plus, what did Emily ever do with the check? It was never confirmed she deposited it or anything. Emily didn't even want it and couldn't confess that she wanted the dinners to continue because they had finally started coming together as a family again. It was just a horrible way to get the dinners and Richard even admitted he wouldn't consider it a loan, especially if Rory went for a Masters right afterwards. Jeeze, Lorelai could have used the 75K for the Dragonfly and would have had less of a need for any money from Luke later on. Lorelai was horrible at money management it was: "Do this because of half-ass reasons and then worry about things later."
  20. That's the big problem with this, Castle's disappearance and memory wipe has now been swept under the rug and I have the feeling we won't hear about it again until the end of the season. I do hope that with all of this we see the end of 3XK for good and Castle banned from the department. Another thing is, I don't want to see Tyson and the dear Doctor get away in the end, they should be under constant watch and I don't want that they either surgically made a police double to get them out or that Tyson's amazing powers of convincing people to become killers doesn't turn one of the cops that is watching them into one and then they escape, again.
  21. What a good episode, some nice twists and turns and look, they finally are acting like a team again. I mean, as Beckett said: "How many times has he been right?" Exactly, drives me crazy when writers act like these characters haven't been together for years and so forth. Why I was so upset with the season premiere and of course with the DA restricting Castle to the department unless it directly involves him. He had most of the story and structure together and I like that Rick is feeling the problems with being a PI and playing cop. It has a lot of dark sides to it and using of clients and even forces. I think the biggest problem with the story was the husband acting so cocky. I get he knew his wife was playing him and Castle but he also knew that it played into his double affairs and back to his first wife so he tried to cover his tracks with the false alibis and so forth. The problem was, he brought it all on himself.
  22. Oh that was evident a lot of times. As many of us have said a lot of characters had inconsistent histories such as Christopher, Lane's parents, Kirk, Taylor, ect. There was even a comment once on one of Kirk's jobs where Luke asked how he could be doing that job when he had worked as an opposing position a few episodes back. Kirk responded: "Its kind of complicated." Or how Jackson was dragged out to be snipped and then Melissa McCarthy got pregnant again in real life and the writers went with: "He faked it." Much like Sherry all of a sudden ditching Georgia and Chistopher because it wasn't the life she envisioned to make Chris look sympathetic and why Georgia was a spoiled brat because Chris didn't know how to teach her "no". I just rolled my eyes at them all. I remember my favorite former tv show Everwood got hung up on the Madison is pregnant storyline because they just decided to see where it went when Sarah Lancaster had just been casted on a new series right before they even filmed the episode. Sadly the creators of the show were so hung up on Sarah Lancaster and after the series ended they even admitted they wrote themselves in a corner and could have easily just written it as: "She had a miscarriage but everyone hid it from Ephram." and it could have still had the same impact about being left in the dark when everyone else knew. Sadly, shows like GG, Friends and more get in these spots and then go: "Maybe we shouldn't have done that."
  23. Completely different characters. Justin was this guy that was hung up on Eve and she liked him but he was very demanding, she was talking about Eric who was this guy talked about but we never met. In fact, an episode was spent on how Mike never met him but Eve had met his parents and Vanessa had met his mom. We never saw him.
  24. Sometimes I believe that ASP was trying to mock Fraiser with the character of Marise. After all, Niles wife was never seen on screen and yet so many plots revolved around her making Niles life so difficult. However, as Kesley Grammer later said after the show ended that the writers were out of ideas with her and decided to just use her as a passing reference like an ex wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, ect. What really made it bad was that apparently Mr. Kim was alive and breathing but we never saw him and we were expected to think that Mrs. Kim made all the decisions and he had no business with her decisions or major things in his own daughter's life style. I feel it was a running joke that ended up putting them in a corner when either they should have explained he was always traveling, dead, divorced or something else. It was really, really bad use just like: "Tell don't show" Gilmore Girls was famous for. Amen!
  25. Another great episode. Felix sold the scene on the bed, especially when they were they were hugging on top of him. His face was priceless. They really have brought the law firm cast to life, I really enjoyed it.
