  1. I watched Graham on Seth Meyers's show, and he was there to push his book. One fact Graham told about his show (spoiler just in case): It was a little weird to see Graham be a guest instead of leading the discussion, but of course he's such a pro no matter what side he's on.
  2. She definitely won the bummer-parents sweepstakes: Her mom is dead, and her dad is more interested in keeping his penis happy than his daughter.
  3. It's not that unusual IRL, either, lol. I hate that Anna is indulging Girl Detective, but on the other hand, Anna isn't in tears. It's not quite a fair tradeoff, but I'll take it for the time being. I wish Cyrus had told Joss that if she kept on, he'd sue her for slander. I don't care how much truth Tracy laid on Sonny. Neither she nor Monica have any legal standing to keep the kids away from Willow. And it's not as if the kids have rarely been to see Monica. They practically lived at the mansion for ages. Once again, going the nuclear route is the problem here. (Not just Tracy's actions; the whole divorce/custody situation.) Also, OF COURSE they're upstairs. They're always upstairs. I don't expect Sonny to know that, but Jason should. He's been living there for a few weeks now. Regardless, Sonny needs to drop dead right now. I guess they don't consider Scout a "real" Quartermaine, so it doesn't matter what happens to her. I think Tracy's feelings for Michael depend on his actions in the moment, which is fair, IMO. He decides to be a Q when it suits him.
  4. Pretty sure AJ is still fat, so he won't be back.
  5. But Sasha had made the special Great-grandmother Monica cookies that the kids had to eat that very second. The excuse should have been that Monica was awake at that moment and wanted to see the kids. Willow could be torn between not wanting the kids at the mansion (possession being nine-tenths of the law) and wanting them to see Monica. Sasha could still get in her judgey rant.
  6. Wait, Lulu has a son? /s According to the Carlys she is, and that's all that matters. Whatever problems Willow has with Michael, he's the father of her kids and she's going to make sure they have him for as long as possible. She's never given any indication otherwise that she wouldn't agree to needed treatment for him. It says a lot about the people making that assumption. That's what they'd do, for sure.
  7. Brain fart. *shrugs*
  8. I am SO sick of hearing about Lulu's quest for Charlotte. Can't this story be backburnered for forever? It's amazing how quickly this story has made me dislike AH as nuLulu. "Sorry, I don't mean to intrude," says Girl Reporter, as she proceeds to intrude. Joss needs to learn the hallowed GH art of the eavesdrop. Wow, AJ has been dead for years and he still can't get a break from this fakakta show. "Michael had the wrong father"?! Carly could have made the point that Jason took care of him without slagging AJ at the same time. Or I guess not, since she's Carly and AJ was fat. May the nanny looks Up to No Good. Yes, that for the immediate time. Michael's face was untouched, and it's not as if he ran around in a Speedo. Any scars he might end up with will be covered by clothes for most of the time. Also, who cares about his scars? Way to focus on the most shallow part of things, Carly.
  9. That was absurd. When Stella is asked for ID before she enters the property, you know you've gone too far. Next thing we'll hear is that he's brought peace to the Middle East.
  10. Cyrus wouldn't put Laura through the agony of a dead child. He's still desperate for her approval and affection.
  11. I wish the show had had Willow do more than say, "I'm Michael's next of kin; his medical decisions are mine to make." Instead Drew takes the lead. Carly's "If the situation were reversed, Michael would never to do this to you!" was laughable. For one thing, Willow basically has no family except Michael's, so there's no one to be in conflict with. But we all know Carly would insist that Michael have sole emergency custody faster than Diane could file the papers. How is Willow having custody of her own children "stealing" them? I know children are possessions to Sonny and the Carlys, but if they didn't instantly assume the worst and go on the most aggressive defense, Willow wouldn't feel she had to play hardball. I'm surprised we didn't also get a comment about how all women have to be mothers to be complete. A "sure thing" never is, so how long before he's back under Selina's thumb? Oh, Cody.
  12. True, but the stakes are usually much lower than trying to find out who killed someone's boyfriend, or if the stakes do become higher, it's because the kids stumbled into them. Here, Joss might as well be on the PCPD. Joss playing Girl Detective is also annoying because she's acting as if she's the only one who can solve things. Her questions are exactly what the PCPD asked everyone. Especially from a WSB test-run point of view, she's not showing incredible investigative skills.
  13. Your post about LC was beautiful, @jsbt, thank you for that.
  14. I laughed that Drew thought he'd be welcome at the hospital, seeing as how everyone but Willow hates him right now. And then he adds to the tone-deafness by deciding it was the time to berate Carly's parenting. He's one to talk. He's been a very absent father to Scout for most of her life. He willingly put Carly's kids above her when he went to prison. I hope Scout rakes Drew over the coals for that when she's older.
  15. I don't care if Joss is in harm's way, because she's awful and needs to be taken down a peg or fifty, but it's ridiculous that Girl Detective is the one who's figuring things out. Great that he's doing so well. Does he still go commando?
  16. I had to laugh at this. Carly is probably thinking there was no way to predict Sonny's fireplace would explode (or however the fire started) and Michael would be burned. I also laughed when Sonny solemnly said, "That was meant for me." Yeah, no shit, Sherlock.
  17. I amused myself by thinking that the nurse is masked and gowned because it's actually Katelyn MacMullen, not some random day player, as an easy way to meet her minimum. Hee. Okay, Girl Detective. You find out what the PCPD can't. I guess Chase does have his hands full at the moment, and Dante still isn't back in PC. Same. Drew was right when he said Willow wasn't dealing with Michael anymore. Carly is not going to go quietly into the night, and Sonny will back her. LOL at Cyrus using his mouth to take off the needle cap.
  18. The non-Carly is always the guilty party, no matter what.
  19. I had to laugh when Drew was bleating to Carly that he went to jail for her and almost died. No one asked you to, pal. That was all on you. That he expects Carly to show him some human kindness is ridiculous. Have you learned nothing from being with her and then seeing her work from afar? Carly is out for herself and the five other people she cares about. You are not one of those people, Drew. You never were—you were a placeholder until Jason returned. He realized that when he preemptively broke up with Carly, but he seems to have forgotten it today. What a dolt. No sympathy for him and his galactically stupid decisions.
  20. When Michael and the other kids were still living at home, whatever collateral damage they were because of Sonny's business was definitely Carly's fault. But now that Joss and Michael are adults (supposedly™ Silas Clay forever), it's on them. They know the risks at this point. Sonny has been and always will be a target, but his kids hang with him anyway. That's on them. I know it's a bit more layered that this, but the point is, they have free will here and exercise it. Sucks when their desire to be with their dad and his bidness overlap. There was a woman there with him. I think that might have been the social worker. I guess Chase was there as back-up to make sure they complied with the court order. That's what I was thinking as well, that Chase was there to make sure they complied with the (completely ridiculous) court order. You know Nina isn't going to calmly let the kids leave.
  21. Even if the show hadn't been signaling the reveal for months, it would still be boring. It came out of nowhere—it's just to give Gio a more solid foundation. But he's boring, so who cares what his backstory is? Certainly I don't. I fervently hope that Ava uses the fire at Sonny's penthouse against him in the custody fight for Avery. (From the previews, it looks like she does. Go, Ava!) It's not about Diane. it's about Carly and her kids never losing. Diane is just the current instrument to making that happen. I'm genuinely surprised that Jason talked to Anna and Chase without Diane there. He always has a lawyer with him when he officially talks to the police, no matter the context. He's getting soft because of his feelings for Anna! Drew and Willow in D.C. while Michael was on fire are two completely separate incidents. Why everyone on the show is acting as if they aren't is beyond me. It's not as if Drew and Willow lit the match and then scampered off to fuck. "Michael gave you those kids!" What a gross thing to say. Joss is really on her moral high horse. She seems to forget that Michael wasn't exactly Mr. Innocent while Willow was married to Chase. Or even the reason she married him in the first place. Shut up, Joss.
  22. Here's an American guide to Robbie Williams. There may be a paywall.
  23. Of course her underwear is white. She's no harlot in red or black lingerie! "I'm just thinking about what comes next." "You mean when we get back to Port Charles?" Drew, you're a congressman. Your job right now is in D.C. He should be a NYS rep if the show wants him in PC all the time. If he were my congressperson and spent all of his time banging his nephew's wife and doing no legislative work, I'd want a recall election, stat. Also, Willow, you are acting on your feelings for Drew by sleeping with him. WTF? Uh-oh. Jason's gonna be mad when he hears he's not the strongest, steadiest person Carly knows, Joss is. LOL. Those salads Carly and Jack had looked really good. "Somebody tried to take you out, and Michael paid the price!" Carly, you forgot to say "Again!" Remember when he was shot because someone was aiming for Kate, who was with Sonny in the warehouse?
  24. This is what perplexes me. Eva LaRue is not some unknown who caught on with the fans, causing the show to frantically backpedal. She's an established soap actor. Why did they come in so hot and ugly with her character? This fakakta show, man. Not that it matters, but
  25. My DVR calls him "author Graham Norton," so maybe it's his latest book, Frankie? It was published last fall but is now out in paperback.
