Oh how heartbreaking. I am so sorry you went through all that. My daughter also spit up way more than average, even though she was thriving. They had me put her on soy formula (I had problems breast feeding) and now I'm sure the soy has contributed to her endometriosis. Oh if I could only go back in time.

I could so relate to having a colicky baby. It just broke my heart remembering the experience with my own daughter. They didn't know it was acid reflux back then. They wouldn't even admit that colick was even a real thing. Instead they tried to blame it on me being a new mother. My poor daughter was in pain ALL THE TIME. Hearing your baby cry in pain and not being able to comfort her, is like a knife going through you. Poor Gage, I know how he feels. I was a walking zombie and an emotional wreck. Thankfully, my daughter did get better, but the first 3 months were hell. No sweet cooing and first smiles, just pain and exhaustion. No one truly understands unless they have experienced it themselves.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone arrogantly touts the "eat less, move more" mantra as if it's the gospel truth. It is false and does way more harm than good. Shannon no longer wants to be friends with Vicki. She has said that she is not angry with Vicki and will be cordial when around her, but Vicki caused irreparable damage to the friendship. So it's not something that can be fixed with an apology. Not all friendships are worth saving.

I'm sorry I have to disagree.....sitting across from each other at a nice restaurant doesn't mean you are not romantically involved.

Celiac disease can be controlled with diet. She has to be completely gluten free and watch what she eats. It doesn't mean she can't travel or live in a foreign place.

I agree, as a full time living situation, I think most of them are ridiculous and impractical. However, I can really picture creating a vacation compound with several tiny "units" and each one having a different purpose. Every once and awhile they show tiny/small houses with their own foundations. They are usually in the 500-750 sq.ft. range and have some outdoor space. Now those I can see being more practical and livable. I wish we saw more in that size range.

Yes, the first mom they showed was his step mother. Then later we saw his mother and brother from Alaska.

I've never been a fan of Vicki's, but I don't think visiting your daughter and grandkids once a month is that over the top. I think the visits were just a few days at a time.

I liked the episode and all the 4th wall stuff. I would love for them to do one every season. It made the show not quite so fake, IMHO. I also thought Vicki looked great in her TH.
