There was no campaign, be it for the use of resveratrol or the juicing crap. I would think that desperate people would do a little research on their own before just taking the word of a man (that is considered a liar and a grifter) on a semi/scripted reality show. That's what I think is ridiculous, NOT that desperate people will try anything. Almost all of the housewives have tried to make money and many of the products they promote could be thought of as questionable as to its worth. Or even if the product actually exist (in Sonja's case). They certainly don't have everyone's well being at heart, they just want to strike it rich. There are laws in place to protect the consumer, but the buyer has a responsibility to his money too.

You think someone watched the show and then called a sick loved one and said.....hey I was watching a craptastic realty show and a guy said he knew a doctor that got better by just using resveratrol and I think you should stop listening to your doctors, stop all other treatments and only use resveratrol? And then that person said fuck yeah, I'm going to be cured? :-)

They spoke of inauthentic stories, but faking cancer is lower than just making up some shit. I don't see why the rest would be guilty by association. The guilt would go where it is deserved. If someone is going to rush out and only use resveratrol to cure their cancer, without any further research, because they saw it on a reality show then that person is fucking stupid. Yes, Vicki's son.

I saw Vicki and Donn 5 yrs ago. I was probably 50-60 feet away. Vicki looked tall and slender. I think she may be a little heavier now, but there's no way she is a size 14-16.

I don't know why everyone thinks that Vicki was paying for all of Brooks' expenses. Vicki is one cheap tightwad and only doles out cash when it makes her look good and she will let everyone know. Before Brooks moved in with Vicki, he had his own apartment in RSM. Vicki has also said that when Brooks did move in with her, she charged him rent. I don't think Brooks' income was large, especially compared to Vicki's Bravo salary, but he was making money (including whatever Bravo paid him). I think Vicki paid for most of the extras such as vacations.

I'm so sorry for all you have endured. Congrats on being 4 yrs cancer free! I posted earlier that where my husband received chemo, I could only sit by him if all the chairs weren't taken by patients. This was at the doctors' office and they had a big room with a circle of recliners. There were also a couple of private rooms. The staff didn't mind if people came and went, but there were few people that stayed because the space just really wasn't conducive to visitors. I am only bringing up my experience because I see some posts stating that "it's not true" and further proof of Cancergate. There is no absolute rule/law that states chemo patients can have guests.

There was never any mention that the juice cleanse cures cancer. If Vicki wants to promote it and make a few bucks, who cares. It's up to the buyer to beware. This isn't the first herb/supplement/whatever on the market that makes questionable claims. The problem Vicki, and so many of the HW have is they can't figure out a way to capitalize on their HW fame.

I don't have time to listen to the whole podcast this morning, but will try to get back to it later.One of my major pet peeves about Heather and Cancergate is her claims about the cellulite doctor. Brooks never claimed that he was treated by THAT DOCTOR! He only said that doctor used resveratrol to treat HIS OWN CANCER. So if this is the same doctor that told Heather he never treated Brooks, it doesn't mean shit. If Brooks lied about the cancer that's one thing, but using crap like this to discredit him, is just wrong. It's right up there with giving the psychic credibility.

I totally agree and have posted that doing away with the storylines and just filming the HW being themselves would be better. The other problem (for me) is the threat to the women to "bring it" or they will lose their jobs. That turns all the HW into extreme drama queens just waiting for their moment to flip a table. Bravo obviously doesn't agree with many of us that the early seasons were the best. I keep watching these stupid shows thinking they will get better, yet they never do. I think it's time for me to rip off the bandaid and find greener pastors. :-)

My husband's chemo treatment was done in California. I could sit with him if there was an empty chair (a big circle of reclining chairs for cancer patients). Otherwise I had to wait in the waiting room. Obviously there are differences from place to place.

That's possible. Last I read on the subject, she had to pay alimony. I love the thought of Donn cashing Vicki's check on the way to the golf course. :-)

She does have to pay alimony. Which is what chaps her ass so much. It will stop once that big Bravo check goes bye bye.

Yes Heather has said it many times. I think Heather was smart enough to know that being a Real Housewife was a big gamble and could be a very big mistake, but that fame whore husband of hers didn't care and gave her the silent treatment until she gave in. If you notice Heather is very careful of what she does on camera. There is nothing spontaneous about her. I also believe her when she says the OTT gimansions are Terry's idea too. I don't know how much fame and money is enough to fill Terry's insecurities hole, but I'm thinking that abyss is comparable to Vicki's love tank.

If one of them was using cocaine, Sonja does seem like the obvious answer. As to why would Brandi encourage Kristin to out the HW when it's not Bethenny? Because Brandi is a lowlife dirty, dirty fame whore who fights dirty. She would do it for the fame and the golden apple. It wouldn't matter if the housewife in question was her bff. Actually I don't think there is much Brandi wouldn't do for fame.

The reunion tapings are more like 12 hours plus. There's no doubt in my mind, Vicki knew she was going to be ganged up on and took something. I think she is playing it well......just rollover and agree to every bad thing they say. I find it to be a bit of an overkill considering all the crap that Tamra has done in the past. Tamra has never once missed an opportunity to embarrass another HW with inside info and we are supposed to be up in arms because Vicki used poor judgement commenting on Tamra's child custody situation? Can you imagine how Tamra would have acted if the situation was reversed?
