  1. I am starting to lose interest a bit at this point. Not a fan of the constant time jumps. The ending of this episode was well done.
  2. This was the episode that really took me out of the show. I thought it was disappointing that they killed off so many supporting characters and abruptly ended half of the storylines.
  3. Agree! It also seems outrageous that the funeral directors in both scenarios are leading the kids around, forcing them to look. Very strange.
  4. Aside from being deeply offensive and obviously fake, most of the scenes are becoming embarrassing to watch. Roy and everything at the radio station is just ugh.
  5. I think it's more that he is trying to get back at her for everything she has not done for him. He really needs support and guidance at that age, and instead he is abused.
  6. It will definitely come out with her kids. It really angered me that Cynthia would knowingly deny her two children the chance to have a father present in their lives. It's very selfish and wrong.
  7. It was quite disturbing to see how the show used the medically induced coma for drama. I feel so bad for the variety of abuse these girls have suffered.
  8. I enjoy this show also, but it's getting increasingly depressing and voyeuristic. Congrats on a huge accomplishment! It's very difficult to do on your own. I wish they would have an extended version where they cover the emotional issues.
  9. Season 5 returns January 4. There is a preview clip on the TLC website. Just watching the preview is tough.
  10. She should have left him after he was cheating in her first episode.
  11. Not going to be a fan of Rollins/Carisi.
  12. Supersize vs Superskinny is mostly interesting, and they talk about emotional reasons for problems with food. I'm ready for the next Penny, and can't wait for Lupe!
  13. This was horrible. Sean and his mother need an intervention. Why didn't Sean have physical rehab after his injury in high school? It doesn't make sense to let someone just stay in a bed forever. When Sean went to the hospital for his fake heart attack, in the next scene after the commercial his hair was much shorter than when he arrived.
  14. Milla's husband did not seem to be very involved with anything. I know he had serious health issues also. Her children cared so much and actually wanted to help. It would be interesting to see how growing up in that environment affects them in later life.
  15. The sister who was overweight had a fiance. He was in the episode towards the end, when Randy had to go to the hospital. The whole living situation was strange. Maybe the father was trying to control all of his children.
  16. Yes, especially when many others on this show have been hospitalized just to be in a controlled environment.
  17. This episode was like Marla 2, only with more health problems and more enablers. Getting extra food while in the hospital seemed very suspicious. Some of the people probably don't want to address their own problems, because it's the first step towards real change.
  18. Very sorry about your Mom, I hope she is recovering well from her surgery. I assumed Ashley was abusing some kind of Tylenol 3 or stronger, but you are right Tylenol is safe for ulcers. I hope the people on this show get far more information and care than what is shown.
  19. I see it more as people with serious psychological issues who have to change their entire lives. It's incredibly hard to give up lifelong coping mechanisms and daily behaviour. Why don't they also have the right to have children, like everyone else? For example, seeing how much Chad loved his children were some of the most heartwarming scenes this season.
  20. The edit wasn't good for Kayleigh, especially the lecturing that he has to be more healthy, while handing him huge plates of high fat food. It seemed like she resented him a lot, which isn't good for the marriage. I don't blame her though.
  21. Agreed about the food. I feel like Dottie really needed a friend or some other support instead of a personal attack from her sister. It bothered me that her son is unable to consent to being filmed on tv like that.
  22. This was incredibly sad. At least Dottie was aware she was using food like a drug. I hope she helps her youngest son eat healthier, even if she can't. It was convenient how her sister was there right when the food was delivered.
  23. I was ready for drama, but this episode was disappointing. It was cringey when June was calling Dr. Now sweetheart and baby in one of the appointments. However, a heart attack and stroke are pretty serious issues. I would have liked to have seen what happened with Sadi at the end.
  24. Chad was great, he really turned his life around after the surgery. It was sweet to see how much he loved his children. What a difference this season has been.
